Update drivers ATI HP Envy Phoenix H9-1350.

Hello

I just bought a Hp Envy Phoenix H9-1350.  I installed all of the update of windows it shows that I need, and in the DXDIAG, it shows the map as being a Radeon HD 7670.  The driver shows no version as I'm too used to the usual ATI cards and the driver date is listed as 21/09/2012.

When I try to update the driver through the site Web of AMD, the driver will never install actually.  Even with the CCC.  When I go to the HP support website to download the drivers, I get the CCC, but the driver is not updated.  The time is always listed as 21/09/2012.

Because the drivers are so old, the performance, I get in games isn't what needs to be had with the specifications of the system that the machine has.  The operating system that the computer is running is Windows 8.  How to update the graphics drivers in this machine?  I guess more accurately, I would install Catalyst 13.1, including the updated driver.  13.2 beta would be even better because that specifically improves the performance of Guild Wars 2 a little.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello:

I know not which model you have PC, and what are the specs, and Yes, you could remove and replace the video card.

I want to say is that since I don't have your model of PC or remotely, that affects to it (I only buy / use of Professional PC HP), I'm not able to confirm that install another video card (or a specific model of video card) is guaranteed to work in your model.

What I'm saying, it's... I do not see why to remove the current Board and its replacement with one that works within the limits of the power supply, would not work.

However, several times I read posts where people install video cards in various PC and for some reason, a certain model of video card will not work in this PC and I see no reason for this.  But it happens.

You have to roll the dice and see what happens, or you can start a new thread and see if anyone knows what that specific video cards will work in your PC.

I agree that risking $ 100 is a lot of $$$ on a bet.

I installed video cards in a lot of PC, and that once it has failed to work (even if you have to).

I recently installed Windows 7 on my HP Envy PHOENIX H9-1350 and'm having hard time looking for drivers for the top of the i/o ports page that has the 3 USB and audio ports.

Part of the issue is, it is on the page of the form, there is no device name and is simply listed "top i/o ports."

Here is a link to the specs of my computer: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03518194

If anyone has 7 drivers, or the real name of the device for the ports, would help to find the necessary drivers.

    HI Alex,

Toshiba does not usually keeps his notebook graphics drivers up-to-date, so I chose to use the ATI drivers catalyst from the Omega to my SA30 site. I used themn now for nearly 12 months without problems or adverse effects on my laptop.

I have read several forums and messages that are concerned about this practice (overheating of the graphics chips etc.) but who can honestly say that I had all these questions so far.

  • Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver update for HP ENVY Phoenix 810-135qe desktop

    Hello

I recently bought a HP ENVY Phoenix 810-135qe desktop computer, during a performance of the construction in the auditor of updates to HP program that it is announcing the following update available for my machine and I was wondering if there were more details about what he actually did and/or updates/patches?

    Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver

    Description
This package provides the driver for Intel Chipset SATA RAID solutions and SATA AHCI Controller in models supported that are running a supported operating system.

    Communicate details
    Exit the: 2014-01-23
    File name:sp65114.exe [1/1, 17.92 M]
    A Version12.8.2.1000 Rev.
    Compatibility:
    Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

    Fix/development
    -Provides original drivers

As you can see the description of correction and improvement really provided no details as to what is fixed or improved.

If I need to apply this patch, it would be nice to understand a little better what to expect and what is fixed and/or improvements.  You have to forgive me because I'm old school and I usually generally follow the routine "if it ain't broke don't fix it".  I'll do what it takes well so I have a better understanding of what is going to happen in the case where updating mess something inadvertently.

    Thank you

    JCOOPER2

    Hello:

What is the technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology software.

    http://www.Intel.com/support/chipsets/IMSM/sb/CS-020784.htm

It is not necessary to install the update if you do not want.

I doubt you will notice a difference in performance if you have it installed.

It is unlikely that all the problems would result in the update (however could apply Murphy's law), but like you said... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    @troubleshoot411, welcome to the forum.

I agree with using Revo.  This is my go to app for malware.  When you used Revo, you use the advanced option?  This will not only remove the program from the HARD disk, but it removes remnants of the BIOS.  If this is not the case, this could be the problem.  I suggest to try the advanced option to remove HPSA and shut down the computer.  Then, start and reinstall HPSA here.

  • HP Envy Phoenix h9-1330: No. IDT pilot = no sound in Windows 10

    Hello

Currently I am fuming with frustration because last night I noticed my Audio Beats Panel was missing and when I searched for it in the menu start he says that the shortcut has been lost. I searched these forums very and advice provided to completely uninstall the IDT Audio driver, reboot and let Windows Update to reinstall the driver. However, when I came back to my computer tonight, Windows Update does not update and I have no sound driver, therefore, no noise. Since I was on Windows 10, HP chose not to create a driver on their Web site for my specific computer beyond Windows 8.1. Could someone help me please, I already made the decision that I would never buy a computer ever pre-engineered, much less a HP, but to make this last a bit more someone can you please tell me how I can get my IDT Audio Driver back as well as the Beats Audio Control Panel on Windows 10 64 Bit for the HP Envy Phoenix h9-1330.

    Thank you.

sp71717 is an audio driver IDT W10.

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.html

sp71918 is only for notebook PC with the IDT.

If you do a search in the forum Office IDT Windows 10, you'll see a lot of messages from members with similar PC ' where sp71717 works.

Here's one for example yesterday.  There is no audio driver IDT W10 for referenced either model.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-audio/beats-audio-missing-after-Windows-10-update/m-p/5795402#M55499

Probably the registry is damaged, as you have tried so many drivers.

The only suggestion I can offer at this point is to right click on uninstall to select a problem IDT HD audio device, check the driver uninstall, restart the PC and try again sp71717.

If that works, for now you can have his base by performing the following steps...

Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of audio, video and game controllers device.

    1. Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC under this category.

    2. Select the driver tab.

    3. click on Update Driver... button.

4-> select Browse my computer for driver software.

    5. Select-> Let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

    6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

A warning message may appear, but click Yes.

7 Windows has updated your driver software.

    8 restart the PC.

    The key is step 6.

  • Wake up from sleep mode, monitors turn on but no image is displayed. HP ENVY Phoenix h9

Product: HP ENVY Phoenix h9 PC Series

    Product #: H3Y51AA #BL

    Model: h9-1387

    OS: 8 64-bit Windows

    Monitors: DELL 2407WFPHC x 2

Updated graphics drivers to the latest version non-beta.

    Hello

Since buying my PC a few months ago, it has been one of the ' display' problems after another. This is the current problem:

When executing step by step away from my computer, I block via Win + L and shortly after that my monitor turns off. When you return a few moments later, I try to wake up to the top (but not really "wake up"...) To try to solve the problems of previous display, I already disabled hibernation options and sleep) my computer by moving my mouse. This causes monitors leave standby mode and be able to raise but what is dispalyed is black screens when I should have been introduced to the login screen.

Mouse clicks and keyboard do nothing and I'm stuck at black screens. To continue, I press the power button on my PC causing the hard drives to spin-up and shortly after the computer turns off. I press the power button and start the computer to the login screen where as soon as I get my password, Windows loads and all my programs etc appear like they were before I blocked my PC.

You can see previous problems, I had the list below, if all goes well they will help you to detect the cause of the current problem.

    Help, please.

    Thank you!

    Peter

    Previous problems I had:

    (1) when the awakening from hibernation, the computer would not wake up screensavers leaving no way for you to connect and save your work. Hard reboot needed. Solution: Disable hibernation Windows features.

    (2) error in the sense of "driver has no display and recovered." Possible solution: disabled hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    (3) when waking from sleep, I find that my 2 monitors have merged into one and a different resolution than usual. Once entered password to connect, programs that were on separate monitors are now on the same monitor. Right click on the desktop and selecting 'Screen Resolution'-> 'Detect' would set monitors to return to normal until the problem recurs. Possible solution: updated graphics driver. Don't know if this problem has been corrected, it may have just been concealed by the new problem mentioned above.

Thanks, but the steps above had no effect.

However, during a windows update, my graphics card driver has been restored and that seems to have stopped the problem.

Unfortunately, again I see apps that were on two screens before lock/standby, appearing on the screen even after release sleep/wake. So far he did not often so we'll see.

  • HP Envy Phoenix 810-130QE Causes of Hyper-V hangs at startup

I'm having a problem with the help of Hyper-V on my new computer and after that try almost everything has suggested two on these forums and on a myriad of web search I'v could not solve the problem, so I hope someone might be able to help out me.

I found the setting in the BIOS to enable hardware virtualization and walks.  After that, the system would start fine.

I then went to programs and features (WIN - X), then "Featurs Turn Windows turn on or off" and permits to Hyper-V and all it's subcomponents as seen in the following screenshot...

That's where I ran questions.  After the reboot, the computer hangs at the HP logo with the loading circle spinning and will spend.  I even went so far as to turn all night without success.

Everything I bought this computer is because I need to work with the development of Windows Phone and run emulators requiring Hyper-v and this feature was not available on my Core2 Duo aging system.

I tried using other versions of the Bluetooth driver that was mentioned in the forums without success.

I tried to disable Secure Boot, again mentioned in these forums with no luck.

I am out of options and I am desperate to get this problem resolved.

For now I have disabled hardware virtualization in the BIOS that allows me to start, but of course the features of Hyper-V that were installed earlier didn't work so I'm no better off than when I started.  Any attempt to reactivate the hardware virtualization in the BIOS leaves me hanging at the start of the HP logo screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was finally able to get Hyper-V works fine on my HP ENVY Phoenix 810-103QE by installing a new copy of Windows 8.1, the upgrade to Pro and then reinstall all the drivers except the Bluetooth drivers.  The installation was not the restore partition but was using a retail DVD Pro Windows 8.1.

Any attempt whatsoever to install the Bluetooth drivers that either before I had Hyper-V running or after have resulted in a failure.  In the case of installing them before you have a Hyper-V running it will expose the shot to the startup problem.  In the case to install after having Hyper-v running would cause an accident immideate and dump during installation.

It seems to me that we have to wait until Microsoft, HP, or Bluetooth chip provider (in my case it is Ralink - now MediaTek) release updated drivers, firmware or software battery Bluetooth for solve the problem entirely.  Because I don't care about Bluetooth on my desktop PC is not that big of a deal for me, but it may be a deal breaker for others.

If anyone is interested, I can provide more details about the installation process or answer any questions you may have about how I went to do it.

  • Drivers/ATI Radeon 4650

I bought my VGN-FW520D a year ago and the drivers for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics card are now nearly a year a half old. I had some display problems lately with some programs as WindowBlinds and it has been suggested that drivers must be updated. But although there is apparently available updates site ATI says VAIO Laptops must be updated by Sony and there is no update available to esupport. Does this mean I'm stuck with a card near end of life and have to buy another laptop $1300 only 1-2 years later?

The driver from Sony support site has been tested by Sony to work properly on your VGN-FW520D. Certainly, you can go on the AMD website and if you can, load the latest drivers from the chipset from there, but that more recent drivers have not yet been tested by Sony, it would not be supported.

Thank you for your comments - we will spend their genius for a new update on the Support site.

In the meantime, I got the blue screen of death - which was resolved with the support on the website.  Reinstall all the programs is tedious - and tracking down licenses for anti-virus programs that I use etc.

The latest HP support, stated that the HP updates have now the same as the windows updates - and activate updates. I disabled updates of HP but not windows.

Support has been nice, but I'm worried that the computer is missing something.  It has a 250 GB SSD - 32 GB of Ram.  I have 3 years warranty at home.

  • Windows 7 drivers for HP ENVY Sleekbook 6-1126sa

    Hello

I have a HP ENVY Sleekbook 6-1126sa.  I need to have Windows 7 (not Windows 8). I installed Windows 7 (no UEFI). It's pretty simple. Now I find there is no Windows 7 drivers on the HP support site. HP support site advises to use Windows updates to update drivers or visit the manufacturer's Web site. Problem is I need an Internet connection to run Windows Update but cannot find the Ralink Wireless drivers. Looking for Ralink manufacturers website I find http://www.ralinktech.com/en/ (which States that the Ralink site merged with the Web of MediaTek site and one for pilots redirects to http://www.mediatek.com/_en/07_downloads/01_windows.php). Maybe somebody has an idea which driver I'm supposed to use? Updates of Windows actually work?

Does anyone know if HP intend to provide Windows 7 for HP ENVY Sleekbook 6-1126sa laptop drivers (and indeed any other portable newly acquired)?

    Kind regards

    Hello

With perseverance and a bit of research I managed finally to find the remaining Windows 7 drivers (for all unknown devices).

For anyone who needs to install Windows 7 on a HP ENVY Sleekbook 6-1126sa, follow is where I found the remaining device drivers:

    1.) Bluetooth controller:

    3 + 4) Both Bus SM & USB 3 controller:

A device of 5th (simply listed as PCI device) had become available after they have been installed. That ends up being:

    5 Realtek card reader.) :
