I got an iphone 4 to a friend in the Canada. I want to use it here in the Philippines as a regular iPad reserved for wifi, how can I use it without sim card? It does not pass the activation page. Help please?

You can activate it without a SIM card. If it is locked, it takes a SIM card by the carrier, for it is locked. The SIM card should not be linked to an active line of service, but it must be present to activate it.

  • I ordered a 3 wifi only iPad and they sent me a wifi + 3g by mistake without sim card

I ordered a refurbished iPad 3 wifi only and they sent me a wifi + 3g - mistakenly - without sim card.  This is my first experience with a tablet of any kind and so I have a few questions:

    1. is there a reason I can't return the wifi + 3 g iPad for iPad wifi only?

    2. What is the difference between an iPad only wifi and the other with wifi + 3 g without a sim card?

    3. it would be an advantage to get a SIM for iPad?

    4. what could I do with wifi + iPad 3 g WITHOUT sim card that I can't do with the wifi only?

    Thanks - TP

    1 honesty

2 WiFi + cell phone has GPS receiver and cellular material (obviously) to work with the cellular network.

    3. Yes, but you're dishonest.

    4. you can have internet access while you travel (for example: in your car, on the beach etc, where there is cellular signal coverage)

I understand it's not your fault, but you should always contact the seller and inform them of the error. If they tell you to keep, jump up and down with happiness.

  • OS update blackBerry Smartphones with another Sim Card

I have a unlocked T-Mobile Blackberry Bold 9900 that needs upgraded software however, I unlocked my phone and switched to AT & T. Which leaves me with the question of the operating system... can I select T-Mobile or AT & T when I reload my OS with an ATT SIM cards on an unlocked T-Mobile phone?

P.S. The reason why I ask because when I insert my battery, my phone has reached 75% charged, then freezes. I tried the "alt + right shift + delete" and the tricks of the 'Safe Mode (back button)'... but they do not work because the phone is completely frozen. This is the reason for my wanting a total reload of the OS.

Sorry for the typos... I use a droid and I want my BlackBerry back.

  • Can I restore iPhone without a SIM card?

Hello! So my iPhone 6s is without a sim card, and I can restore iOS 9.2 without sim card. I'm not currently do, but if I want I can erase all data and set up as a new device via iTunes without having to insert the SIM card to activate it. Because the first time that I put in place he required SIM card to activate and I had a so a friend gave me its just to activate it, but now it is implemented it will not require it still good? I ask because I think to register on the cause of beta program softw new betas are pretty impressive and just in case I need restaurant there later.

You will need a SIM card to activate the device. I was also looking at load the beta software on a device that you use regularly, because you can only get no assistance troubleshooting here, thanks to the beta program. And, please make sure that you follow all the instructions they provide, because it requires an extra backup and respect for their program.

  • How to unlock an iPhone 3 g without a SIM card?

I bought an iPhone 3GS really cheap with 32 GB of storage. I got it to play music in my car. I do not really want to use it as a phone. When I got the phone I was able to access the main menu and use the phone (with the exception of calls). I reset just to be safe, and now I can't 'turn on' without a sim card. Is there anyway to turn it on and use it without sim card?

    Hello

Without going into a cell phone store and get a sim card pay & go.

But iphone may be locked to a network provider?

If yes you need this service providers SIM card.

    See you soon

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones! Bold 9700 is frozen on start up with the new sim card

I tried looking for similar topics but could not find more relevant. everyone seems to have no problem with swapping of cards sim on their fat. If there is a thread already open, I'm sorry. I am really frustrated and really need my blackberry to be operational.

I have a Bold 9700, updated to the latest OS, everything works fine. I recently had some problems with my old sim card so I went to my service provider to change to another (same number, same line, same contract, just a new sim card).

As it is expected that I was told that when my old sim is disabled, simply insert my new and I use my phone as normal.

However, when I did this, the phone was stuck at the loading screen (the bar is all white) for eternity (maybe 5 minutes or more) before moving on to the home screen. There is no charge "security check" bar, the phone is completely frozen, no buttons work, the touch pad does not work, it shows 3G top right without the sign of blackberry, there is no service provider name and from time to time the little loading logo clock is displayed.

I pulled the battery a couple of times and the problem persists. I called the service provider to reactivate the new sim card, they did 3 times, same problem. I inserted the SIM in other non-blackberry phones that I have and it works on all phones. When I put my old sim card in the 9700 disabled, the phone start end in 2-3 minutes, 'check' safety bar according to normal, everything moves, just no connection to the service. When I turn on the phone without sim card it starts fine with a message to say out loud the card sim.

I even went down to the assistance service technique blackberry from my service provider and they were no help. all they could say was 'we must wipe your phone and reload the software' that I'm trying to avoid, and I can do it myself anyway.

My phone is unlocked, comes unlocked here in Singapore, I even checked using the method 'MEPD', all disabled.

This was very frustrating, especially when I need my blackberry for work. What is the problem with my phone? How can the simple replacement of a sim card if difficult on a blackberry when there is problem free for ANY other phone I've ever used? I am now fear when I travel abroad for business and requires a foreign sim card.

had the same problem and eventually happeing is that I had to reload my os permeable, and then insert the sim card and upgrade again.

    consusming time, but worth it

  • I have an iPad without any place to put a Sim Card. But I just updated my iPhone IOS 9.3 5 and before the full update there don't say "SIM necessary." Like I said my iPad has no where to put a SIM card on it what should I do?

I have an iPad that has no place to put a SIM card on it.but I just updated my iPhone 5 in IOS 9.3, but before the end of the update there is a stage says "SIM card required" so I put a SIM card to this topic, but how do I update my iPad to IOS 9.3? Please help I'm really scared of what will happen!

Only your iPhone needs a SIM card to do the upgrade, you will not be asked this question when you update your iPad unless it's an iPad GSM. I wouldn't do the update again as IOS 9.3 has serious bug (s) to fix first.

  • Invalid SIM card after updating iOS 9.3

    Hi guys,.

I use an iPhone 5. Today, after updating to the latest iOS 9.3 the following problem occurs:

My iPhone 5 is 'never locked' one, the sim card also works - checked on my other phone.

This sim card is a Bulgarian operator (which sells iPhones), and now I use their service to roaming so at Berlin, Germany.

When I insert my sim card German, the iPhone works.

This problem is so stupid and boring!

Please guys, give me an advice what I would do.

    Thank you

    Ivan

Activate the phone using a German map, the Bulgarian card and continue to use your phone.
