"Updated" application not found

I use creative cloud for teams on two PCs, one at work and one at home. The programs that are on my PC at work work very well and I have nothing to worry about here. However, I'm having a problem with InDesign and Illustrator on my PC at home, my CC app gives me the Green clear that all the products that I have (Id / AI / Ps) are currently up-to-date. Photoshop works perfectly fine, but I am unable to find the Illustrator or Indesign files anywhere on my computer. I tried to uninstall creative cloud and redownloading it and the same thing with Illustrator and InDesign, I don't know where else to go from here. Help me, please?

Frontlines: Fuel of War will not work. The installation went well but when I try to run it, the game never starts. I received a message to update, but the game has not officially begun. So one by one, I tried to run the game after each update and still nothing. Everything is up-to-date drivers, windows updates, all my other games work great (for example Guild Wars, Halo PC, ijji Gunz etc.). I don't get an error message after trying to start the game however when I put the game disc in i get "E:\Application not found". I've never had a problem on XP and I have not tried officially on Vista. How can I get this game to work?

    Hello

you have the original version (DVD) of the game?

If there are also other programs to install on record as Microsofts vcredist, please intall all too.
Another option would be: copy the DVD on hard drive you one that launch the game again. If skip you the DVD-check.

  • Application not found Error Messages

Application not found error message Hi,.

I recently had a virus on my Windows XP which I removed with Norton Internet Security.  The virus was called "XP Antispyware 2010".  After that I took it with the version of Norton Internet Security 2010 newly installed, I realize that I could not access the internet directly by clicking on the icon. a window will open asking for me to choose the program I want to use to open IE.  He would then run the program but nothing happens and it goes in circles asking to select a program to open, run, etc.

Soon I noticed that clicking on other applications would result in an error message saying "Application not found".  I can't remove programs from my control panel because it is inaccessible, I can't open Microsoft Office programs directly unless I go to my computer.  I can't do a system recovery or restoration; the same messages will pop up. So basically, I can't make any changes to my laptop programs or access directly.  Help, please.

I called Symantec who tried to help.  Norton Internet Security has been removed from my laptop, but I still have the same problems.  I was then told that this isn't a problem with Norton, but with Windows and the file sharing/accessibility.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Hi, Debbie.

First of all, Norton is not the choice of the antivirus, I recommend, and I seriously doubt that he removed all, if any, elements of Xp Antispyware 2012. Their support is not much better that you will probably notice now.

The errors that you receive are obviously the result of the malware.

We will try to solve your problems one at a time.

Using another computer, and then transfer the files to the computer in question via revovable storage like a disk or flash/thumb drive click HERE. Download the file. Extract the contents of the zip file.

Click HERE and download another zip file, extract the contents again.

Right-click on the files one at a time of course and choose "merge". Confirm guests. You should now be able to open your shortcuts and executable files.

Click HERE. Download Malwarebytes. Update Malwarebytes and perform a scan.  Choose whether to remove anything found. Once completed click HERE and download Superantispyware Portable. Perform a quick scan again remove anything found.

  • Programs open files/applications not found

Very suddenly, when I click on some icons on my desktop (e.g. Explorer), he asks me what program I want to open it with.  Also, many programs/files say "application not found" (for example, all items in the control panel).  Any suggestions?

    Hi, Sofie,.

You will need to update your antivirus and run a full scan of the system in safe mode. Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222 on how to start the pc in safe mode.

You may need to consult: listed process: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310585 :

You will need to rename regedit.exe regedit.com, and then click on Start-> Type Ru & -> Regedit-> ok.

    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command
(you will have to press on + to achieve order)

Now, double-click default slot right windows and then change the value in this box for '%1' % *.

    Repeat the same for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command

Close regedit, restart your pc and check if its working.

    I hope this helps.

  • D drive not working do not. Bed "Application not found".

I had to get a new hard drive a few months ago and this is the first time using my D drive since.  When a disc is inserted, it looks like he's trying to read the disc, but then nothing happens.  When I try to open it manually, it says "Application not found".  I recently got a new printer and try to install the equipment for this and am unable.  I tried to change the drive letter, Microsoft troubleshooting Services automated: your CD or DVD cannot read or write media.  No change and still does not.  I need help please!

You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers (and you need to do for the reader of CD and the printer - drivers, firmware and software - and all the others that you have time to do-, they help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.  Make sure the devices are attached and in the course of running when you install the drivers and firmware and software - is available but certainly the drivers.  After the drivers, you can install the firmware and software.

How did you install Vista on your new drive hard if you do not use the CD player?  So it must have worked at a given time.  I think that it will solve the problem to update the drivers on it (they probably got changed for bad ones during the re-Setup).

As far as the printer will, once you've done the above, use the Add Printer Wizard and it should take you thrugh the process without problem.  If you have any problems, post the EXACT error messages and where the process failed it.  Then, we will try to remedy this situation separately, but for nowlet concentrates for the functional CD.

    I have hopethis help.

  • Open with / Application not found

I me was a virus called 'Vista Internet Security' told me almost everything on my computer has been infected, and he tried to make me buy a $ 50 allegedly program fix. I knew it was fake, so I used SUPER Anti Spyware Free Edition to get rid of him. He got rid of a few horses of Trojan and spyware rogue file. I was so happy to make it out of my computer. But I restarted and now when I try to open something (e.g. Mozilla Firefox) a window pops up that says: "what do you want to open this file with?" and, of course, I just want to go on the internet, not open it with anything. It will open on a regular basis if I right click and click "Run as Administrator" but won't some files. For example, if I double-click on Microsoft Works, it will say "Application not found" and if I right click on it and click "Run as Administrator", it is said also that. I don't know why it does this, if anyone can help me?

    Hello

Just in case there are persistent pieces of malware here is the method of complete elimination.
.exe question difficulty in the next message.

Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

    1.
CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

necessary right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes - Properties - tab - target line to see where it
    is installed.

Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.COM (or something different than now) and
Double-click it, and then run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with
other programs according to the needs. Use this method to others as needed - NOT assume all
a program deletes all or that it is no other malicious software.

    2.
Another method is to use them:

Use Process Explorer to "Suspend" the process will not stop

  • SD - MMC shows G:\ application not found.

Hello, I am experiencing problem with card reader Realtek PCIE is SDHC (SD - MMC) slot. When I enter a SD - MMC card, a window pops up and it says not found application G:\. I use windows 7 Professional. My PC has 3 USB connectors. All the slots work for USB but for microSD USB card reader only 1 location works and the other two said 'F:\ or G:\ application not found '.  To fix this, I read somewhere that it will Autoplay > mixed content > non-action > Save will and I did the same thing and now all three notches work (working days) for the card reader. Now my problem is that the SD - MMC slot appears G:\ application not found. So I can't open the microSD through it. I use Avast! 2014 Antivirus and AVG tune up utility optimizer 2014. Please suggest me a way to this problem!

    Hello Priyankush,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

According to your description, I understand that your system USB connectors were not working earlier but that they are busy after that you have troubleshooted the Autoplay issue. However, now slot SD - MMC on your system does not work with the same error message. To do this, I would like to know some information as described below.

    1. What is the serial number and model your system?
    2. Your SD - MMC slot ever worked before? If YES, you did important equipment or modifications to the software on the computer before this problem?
    3. Any other SD card isn't available or is it not detected by the slot with success?

The question may arise because of the corrupt card reader drivers that can be updated in Device Manager. So, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Try to run the next fixit and check if the problem persists.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    Method 2:

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of devices, search for the name of the built-in SD - MMC card player.
    3. If the device is not detected in Device Manager, and check if this is a hidden feature.

    I. click Show hidden devices on the view.

II. expand all winks in Device Manager.

III. there would be grey entries in Device Manager.

Uninstall all entries shaded under all winks, and then restart the computer. Insert the SD card into the slot and check if it works.

    Method 3:

Install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's Web site and even ensure that the driver is compatible with the version of the operating system installed on your computer. Check if it works.

    Consult the following link:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Update-driver-hardware-ISN

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • Cannot activate windows 7 - accepted not Legit "Application not found" license key

I have an old Alienware m17x R1 with a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 installed. I bought it for the birthday of my son out of craigslist in July 2012. He had so many things about it I not rub and the operating system was already authorized, enabled and recognized as legitimate.

Yet once the operating system has already been verified as legitimate and fully active and I used Windows Update and Windows Security Essentials broadly I have prepared the machine for her birthday and there is no problem.
In any case, in mid-2012 October my son suddenly begin to see updates cautioned that "this copy of Windows is not genuine" and he needs to activate it. So, not having contact with the person that I bought the computer from, I advanced and bought a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium for $220.00 rather than download and online Microsoft store online and wipe the machine and re - install (us Mac people never have to deal with such nonsense) just to "fix" things I logically and wisely clicked on Start/Control Panel/system and then clicked on "Change Product key" and entered him valid, legitimate, product key that I had just bought.
But by entering and submitting the valid, legitimate product key, official, based on my download page on the Microsoft Store returns the following error:
    Code: 0xC004F050
"The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is not valid"
So, thinking I can buy the wrong operating system I checked and checked that I have in fact Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 installed, and I indeed bought Windows 7 Home Premium. So, I seem to be tight. True, Microsoft normal 'solution' in such a situation is to destroy all of your years of data and spray your machine and then rebuild from scratch, but as a Mac guy, that I hope that I'm not yet at that time here and we'll find a clever solution to the problems of this operating system.
Also, when I run slui.exe and click "go online and fix now" link, I get the following arcane error:
    "Application not found".
I tried to rebuild the license store by the great reviews on this page: http://www.sevenforums.com/windows-updates-activation/227921-windows-7-all-sudden-saying-its-not-genuine.html, but it has not solved the problem.
Then, I spent a lot of money on a new operating system on a platform of big game that is quickly became a brick. Advice on how I can fix it is to have this Windows 7 machine and may he accept the valid license key that I bought at the store Windows online and get active and legitimate, again, would be most appreciated!
    Thank you
    Wulf

Thanks for the reply but I am a little confused. Having enjoyed that a Windows operating system to the given address of the bios never stopped an operating system to be activated in my nearly 20 years of using Windows

An OEM SLP key requires a compatible bios marker in order to activate. OEM system builder and retail keys are not. When you bought your computer probably an OEM SLP key has been used with a hack of activation.
unless there is something wrong with the operating system.
There is something wrong with the operating system. It's been hacked and therefore is not authentic.

Normally, Windows Activation Technologies runs every 90 days so it can sometimes can take awhile, especially if the WAT update is disabled.
    additional information:

Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

    (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

    (B) SLP COA: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

  • Error starting of DPS App Builder - Application not found

    WTF people.

This morning I opened my document (CS5) and he said that I should update my folio tools (Needless to say I hate it to be forced to do an update before I can start working).

Well, I do an update, these two tools (tools of producer and Folio Builder).

Now, there seems to be a few changes, I can't update my folio via the menu more. At the time to choose the new 'building app' - option I get an error:

"An error occurred when starting of DPS App Builder. The App-Builder DPS application not found"(translated).

Original German version: "Beim Starten von DPS App Builder ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Wurde die DPS App Builder application non found. »

All Solutions? Where to find the mysterious "Application App-Builder"?

Edit: Refresh is now possible within the folio as it seems.

App Builder is nothing else than a new name to Viewer Builder. Download go DPS.

    Help, please.

    Hi David,

    1. are you trying to open the file using open with and choose Winzip?

    2. have you already download the file using Internet Explorer?

    3. what version of Windows operating system do you use?

This can occur if the location of the temporary file is missing or damaged.

If you have downloaded the file, and then try to re - download it again by changing the location to download the file and see if it helps.

You can also try to save the file on the desktop and check if you can open the same without any problem.

    Hope the helps of information.

Please press Crtl + Alt + Delete key on the keyboard. Now, you will get a new manager called tasks window.

Now, please hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and click file, new task on the Task Manager.  Now, you will get a new black window. Copy the following and paste it into the black command window and press ENTER. Restart the computer.
