  Hi, Susan.  Sorry to interrupt you in this thread, but:

  1. I went through all the screens to get assistance from the Web site for a similar problem and it says that I need to cough-up $239.

  2. the fix that I have a problem is KB2707511.  It installed fine everywhere but on this domain controller.  Said it was successful, but retains his return regardless of whether if I use WSUS 3.0 or Windows Update or manual install the hotfix.   I am building a website and want to put videos in there.  When I hit a wall, I followed the instructions on the Adobe Web site.  They show an option for HTML5 under the Insert > media menu, but my dreamweaver (CS6) does not show it.  I am looking for an all said install updates.   I'm running 12.03 now and still no option to HTML5.  Anyone know how I can get this plugin or extension for DW CS6?

  I want to completely reinstall my computer - destructive recovery or something, I think it is called. Can I record the existing updates on a disc or flash drive, so I have to download all over again? There are about 600 MB of them, so I wouldn't have to download them again.

• Firefox does not recognize that I have already installed add-ons (guests to install Add - ons I've already installed AND enabled). Why?

  Hello Amsuko, the "+ add to Firefox" button on addons.mozilla.org and similar sites is just a normal static element on the website. Web sites do not have the ability to query what extensions a user has already installed (it would probably be considered as a violation of privacy / security). When you install an add-on that is already present on your system, it will simply not be replaced...

  More quick is always download the full installer and uninstall the current version of Java before installing Java 8 version unless you need to keep the Java cache and downloaded applets.

  Firefox does not apparently see that a high enough version of Adobe Flash is already installed (there is no downgrade). Other applications are able to run Flash without any problems.

  The Flash player for Firefox is 10.2.159.1 that the fixed Zero Day exploit in the previous version, see: Adobe releases update of Flash Player Security.

  What I suggest you do is to go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and download Adobe Flash uninstaller, and that (first close Firefox). Then, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to obtain the current version.

  Uninstaller will also uninstall IE8, so you'll have to use that to download and install it again I'm afraid. This is because the version of Firefox does not have the ActiveX control that is required to operate the Flash in IE8.

  Looks like pictures which I assume you mean Apple's application to view and edit photo files is a 'disk' called JDK 8 update 73 ad.

  This implies that you have downloaded and mounted a "disk image file" for the update of Java and it is always 'mounted '. However the fact that you are still being harassed to install it in Safari implies that you have not run the update of Java installation package that must be inserted into the drive.

  Try to repair the Apple Software Update of the programs and features Panel, remove it and then reinstall iTunes.
