Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything in the list below, in order, before connecting the machine to the internet or a local network (i.e. other computers) and before you plug in a flash, SD card, or any other external computer diskotherwise:

    1. Make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled.
    2. Uninstall any moment invalid Norton, McAfee, etc., free version of test which was also reinstalled, run the appropriate removal tool (see below), and then install an application antivirus of your choice (for example, http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/default.aspxMicrosoft Security Essentials- free).
    3. Arrival to Windows Update & get the computer fully patched - see article below
    4. If you use other than MSE antivirus, consider making an application also antimalware as MalwareBytes AntiMalware.

TIP: Use another and negative computer to download programs for, for example, SP2 or SP3 installation, the installer for your new anti-virus application and or other removal tools cited below. Transfer these files to CD or DVD (not a flash drive) and then transfer the files of the CD or DVD on the desktop of the computer you are using.

  • Premium service pack 1 64-bit Win7. Different taskbars

I recently bought a second computer. They both are running ofWin7 Premium, Service pack 1 64-bit versions.  However, work in the way that the taskbar is very different on the new computer.  The older the taskbar are divided by three small vertical dotted lines on left are all running programs.  This means that I can have more than one Web site running at once and if I want to watch a new by clicking the shortcut icon of Firefox on the right side allows it. To the right are shortcuts to programs and web addresses.  It's very simple drag and drop a new address or program shortcut each time as needed.  I got used to working like that.

However, on the new computer, the taskbar are not divided, it is impossible to move the web address shortcuts to the new and very difficult to move other shortcuts. (it usually says "PIN to the computer" when you're trying).   If a shortened program is open it lights and another program window is open it is also light on the bar.  But I can't open more than one program at a time.

How is that which seems to be identical copies of WIn7 premium have the task bar that works so differently?

I would be very grateful for advice on how to get the new machine to run in the taskbar in the same way as the one done.

    John Mitchell

    Hello

Please keep us updated. Sorry for the late reply.
