Upgrade eligibility period: refers to prices or installation?

Could not find an answer to this one, which I hope it is fairly simple to solve:

I am currently on DW CS3 and want to spend in CS6. However, my retail business in line-purchase box DW CS6 could not be delivered before after I'm away from home for Christmas and the new year. As I won't install until a few days after the period of eligibility for the update for CS3 products expiring - do, I suppose, as I suspect, it of just 'upgrade-price' eligibility or affect the installation of the upgrade? The purchase has been an independent trader in the United Kingdom, and I have a proof of purchase.

Thanks in advance for any clarification.

Hello

Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Relax and enjoy your holiday. CS3 upgrade to CS6 eligibility is based solely on the date of the order, not the date of Installation. Since you already bought Dreamweaver CS6 which has yet to be shipped, you can install any time after receiving the order.

If the vacation and enjoy the software later.

Kind regards

Fatiha

    Hi all

I'm Italian, I an A300 Satellite with Vista Home Premium I paid 30 euros for the free upgrade to Windows 7, which reached my House yesterday. I got 2 DVD:
-1 to 'prepare' my phone: * TOSHIBA UPGRADE DVD *.
-1 upgrade operating system: * WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM UPGRADE DVD *.

+ The first step: + use the first DVD: all right, "the system is ready to install Windows 7, insert the second dvd. When I insert the other, I accept the license and after that, the first step of the installation: * "check system compatibility."
    * These steps is my problem.*

I reworded more than 10 times the praxis but it blocks at this stage, I left the laptop at this stage, throughout the night, but today morning she was always there, no progress, it is clear that there is a problem, but I do not understand if it depends on my cell phone or on the DVD.

I tried to boot the laptop with Windows 7 DVD inside, start the system by the DVD, but it ask me to format the partition where are the files of vista and is not an upgrade. I bought an upgrade just do not remove previous programs and do not format the first partition of the drive of my laptop.

How do, which can, I turn to?

  • Windows XP SP3 upgrade freezes at widows logo screen during installation

Windows XP home SP3 update installation hangs at logo screen of widows at the end of the installation process. I then have to restart the computer Windows XP load how fortunately but it then immediately starts trying to configure documentviewer and is unabe to find the installation files. At this point IE also will not work reports an error "the requested lookup key was not found in any active context"

Now, I'm sure that the last problems are caused as a result of the installation of Windows XP SP3 update does not complete. I tried to do a manual update via Windows update, but after 105 update files that still has not solved the problems. I tried a system restore, but this also was not a success.  Can someone please help with advice as to how I might remedy the situation?

OK, after more research I found that documentviewer.msi was the issue that prevents installation ended. The file is part of HP Imaging software, so I uninstalled the HP software & the upgrade was able to complete resolution of the problem with IE in the process.

    Hello

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable the antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network at the time the anti-virus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

  • HP Pavilion DV3 - 4031TX Windows 7 32-bit upgrade to 64-bit with the OEM installation?

    Hi all

I have a HP Pavilion dv3-4031TX that came with Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit OEM preloaded.

I want to move to the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

I have run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and confirmed that my hardware is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.

    I don't mind doing a clean install.

I have my product key OEM with me, but no disc (BONE came preloaded).

Is it possible to switch to 64-bit by doing a system recovery?  If Yes, where can I change the installation options? (as clicking 'Custom' instead of 'Upgrade' in the retail version Installer)

I'm not sure if the OEM installer comes with this option.  Can someone tell me? (screenshots will be appreciated)

Another question, if the OEM Setup program does not come with 64 bit and I have to clean install the retail version, my OEM product key will work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello
