It has 2 RAM slots, there currently 1x4Go what does the quick option: Add 1 more than 4 GB of RAM in the second slot. There are a few manuals for " Maintenance and Service of Guide " at the following link. Manuals will show you how to access the RAM slots to add/replace RAM:

    Hi all

    I'm working on laptop HP Pavillion G7-1070us of my father, and I'm having a problem starting after the installation of 8 GB of RAM.  I upurchased 2 sticks of 4 GB of DDR3 PC10600 UN buffered, NON ECC RAM of Frys and everytime I go to start the laptop it throws an error that can not load Windows and offers to run the repair or start normally... little matter that you select, it goes back in the loop of what prompts to repair or load... The BIOS recognizes all the 8 gb... have you tried 2 different sets of different manufacturers (Patriot and Crucial). As soon as I pop 2 2 GB sticks in it boots fine... I even tried to start the the Windows 7 DVD to repair windows, but he always comes back in the loop... I tried the two current and previous BIOS without success... Help, please

  • The upgrade of RAM on a computer laptop compaq cq58-d28sa

    Currently I have 4 MB of RAM and want to upgrade. What is the maximum upgrade for this model and what size is available, for example 2 MB or 4 MB slots?

    The service manual says that it takes up to 8 GB... 2 x 4 GB chips and it will use the speed of DDR3-1600 mhz but seems it will be downclock at 1333 mhz. This is what you need right here:

  • Computer laptop 15-F033wm: Max (vivid RAM) memory for computer laptop 15-f033wm?

    I've looked everywhere, and the guide does not load correctly.

    I was considered to be the upgrade of my physical memory (RAM), although I can't find the maximum amount for my OS.

    I currently have a Samsung 4 GB 1333 MHz memory and an Intel (r) Celeron (r) CPU N2830 @ microproccesor 2.16 GHz.

    I have a laptop HP (f033wm) 15. I run Windows 10, 64-bit.

    The max is 4 GB? I wanted to move to a 8 GB of RAM, because a "spec" site called I got a 8 GB of maximum memory. I wanted an official confirmation, and I saw this as the way.

    8 GB is the maximum. Because it's N Pentium/Celeron series 'Trail Bay', it has only a single memory slot. The Service Manual shows a memory access panel on the bottom of the laptop so to reach the memory should not be a great test as it is on some similar models.

  • Upgrade hard drive for computer laptop dv6626us

    I searched for the hard drive on my laptop dv6626us upgrades. When I read the comments they seem to all be positive with regard to the replacement of my current (factory loaded hard drive). One of the concerns is that the computer has been delivered to the factory with Windows XP loaded. I don't see the comments of those who have Windows 8.

    Upgrading the hard drive for the dv6626us with windows xp installed at the factory would be compatible with the hard disk depending on whether I have found as being compatible for windows 8.

    recommended update: Seagate portable, SSHD hydrides disk HARD 1 TB Sata-600 n/p.

    The hard drive I have on the computer named above is: WD Scorpio WD1600B EVS - training 60RST0 settings: LBA 312581808.  This hard drive has been charged at the factory.

    Hello mikee1960,

    HP does not have hardware support for Windows 8 on any system purchased before October 1, 2011.  Most of the Windows 7 drivers work in Windows 8.

    Check out this page to see if your computer has been tested by HP with Windows 8.

    You can run the Upgrade Wizard, which will scan your PC and report on what is currently installed on your PC is compatible with Windows 8.  This guide was updated for Windows 8 provides lots of information which is needed for all those planning the upgrade.

  • Failure of Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade on the new computer laptop

    Hello

    We just bought a new Asus laptop that came with Windows 7 Starter as standard.

    A week later, we bought an Express Upgrade Home Premium 7.

    The upgrade has failed at first time around; following the advice of the community, I tried the following:

    Check all updates;

    Installed the CheckSUR tool fix;

    Disabled user account control;

    Disabled antivirus;

    The hard drive to find errors;

    Profiled selective startup in MSConfig.

    In the end, I got was a "invalid product key" - which it is not.

    Windows displays as entered, and I have SP1.

    As a last resort, I have reset the specifications of the factory and tried the Express upgrade as the first thing on the PC 'cost '. Upgrade failed after 25 minutes.

    In the very final resort, I reset all the solutions above workaround to the specifications of the factory again, re-directed (except by disabling the antivirus because I have not reinstalled which again - there is only Windows Firewall between me and the world wide). Update failed.

    I just tried to disable the Windows Firewall and tried the upgrade - my product key verified program, was asked to accept the terms, told me it would be as little as 10 minutes - but now it's to say the upgrade button that I entered is a version of Windows that does not work with the Express upgrade... but it IS an Express upgrade.

    It took nine days so far - please you have the magic answer? Thank you waiting...!

    You have already done most of what I have posted, but it can't hurt to read and review as it is possible that you missed.

  • Pavilion g6 2213sa: upgrade of the APU - computer laptop won't start

    I recently bought an APU A10 - 5750M on eBay with the intention to replace the A8 - 4500M in my 2213sa. I saw some videos on YouTube of people doing this with HP laptops so I know it's possible, but for some reason any, that he doesn't let me do on this laptop.

    Why not?

    Oh and just as a note, it's not because the motherboard was short-circuited or anything, because it lights up. Just died not much later. The display also lights.

    Also, I put the old APU inside and it works very well with it there. As far as I know, there is not any new update of the BIOS for this laptop, so I don't know why it does not start.

    It does not start because it is not compatible. You need A10 - 4600M.

  • Upgrading RAM for the name of the model: SVF15212, model number: SVF152C1WW

    Hello

    Recently, I bought a Sony Vaio SVF15212 (SVF152C1WW model number) in India.

    It came with 2 GB of RAM preinstalled DDR3 (DDR3 PC3-12800(800MHz) 1x2Go).

    It has 2 memory slots, you are free to upgrade.

    I was told from Sony's Web site, we can improve up to 8GB RAM.

    I bought the Rams of Strontium and Simmtronics 4 GB DDR3 RAM PC3-12800 but when I installed these Rams in second slot RAM (1x2Go and 1x4Go) the laptop won't turn on. But if the Rams individually 4 GB then the laptop starts normally. So I returned these Rams.

    So what is the best idea that you can give me... I need to remove 2GB DDR3 RAM preinstalled and use one of the other Rams of 4 GB or 8 GB? (i.e. only a bar than a single stick of 8 GB or 4 GB).

    I need more memory RAM that I use many virtual machines. I read somewhere that they installed 8 GB of RAM in the computer laptop sony vaio (not sure of exact model) with 2 GB pre-installed so that they use 10GB of RAM...

    Is this possible? If so I'm happy that I can keep original key of 2 GB and you can buy 8GB new stick so that my RAM memory would be 10 GB. WOW!... even thought is amazing...

    If someone help me (guide me) which is better than I do...?

    Thank you and best regards,

    SRI.

    Thanks... will check and update.

  • Pavilion G6 - 2163sr: Max RAM computer laptop HP Pavilion G6 - 2163sr

    Hello

    I want to improve my laptop for 2 * 8 GB RAM. Motherboard supports this amount of memory?

    So understand, my motherboard model is HP 183rd (U3E1) but I didn't find its specification in the web.

    Thanks in advance.

    Here's the official specs:

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=emr_na-c03362719

    Basically, the motherboard is the laptop model. Laptops are designed of the earth upward by the manufacturer so there is no separate computer laptop itself set of specifications of the motherboard.

    The specs say 8 maximum of concerts, but it's a 3rd generation of processor Intel Core. However, the maintenance manual, which is usually more reliable than the specifications, said as 8 GB maximum and does not specify a compatible 8-gig module.

    Repair manuals

    Even Crucial said 8 maximum of concerts and they perform ongoing tests because if they can sell you larger modules they want to be able to do.

    http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/Pavilion-G6-2132tx

    So, bottom line, I think it might take 2 x 8 gig modules, but it would be a big gamble and I guess that it can take only 2 x 4 GB.

  • HP 240 G3 laptop: HP 240 mobile G3 Upgrade RAM help

    Hello!

    I just bought a HP 240 G3 laptop and want to upgrade RAM 8 GB.

    Here are the specs of the laptop of HP support assistant:

    Model: HP 240 G3 Notebook PC

    Product no.: M1V30PA #ACJ

    Processor: Intel (r) Pentium (r) CPU N3540 2.16 GHz

    OS: Win 8.1

    Current RAM: 2GB Hynix Semiconductor 1333 MHz (DDR3)

    Can I go to a 8 GB Transcend 1600 MHz, or should I just get 1333 MHz?

    Laptop computer supports up to 8 GB according to the directives of the brochure of the seller.

    There is only a single slot.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    See you soon.

    Here is the Manual:

    Repair manuals

    Actually, the manual says if I just read that Trail Bay models have 2 memory slots. I am skeptical. Is yours have a coverage of service for memory? If this isn't the case, it will require removal of the motherboard to access.

    It seems that DDR3L-1600 memory is compatible with all versions of this model of laptop, even if some will be downclock at 1333.

    The official number of HP for a 8 GB module is:

    8 GB (PC3L, 12800, 1600 MHz) 693374-001
