"Your bootable USB key could not be created.

    Hey guys,.

I Googled what to do about this error message and all I got was to ensure that the ISO is disassembled. I did, and yet I still get the same exact error message. I'm trying to get Windows 7 Home Premium on a 2012-13 inch Mac Book Pro. I also use a flashdrive 16 GB for the ISO image. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  • "Your bootable USB key could not be created there is not enough space available on the disk.

I am trying to install a partition of Windows 7 with an ISO on a flash drive with Boot Camp Assistant. Everytime I try it however, I get the error "your bootable USB key could not be created there is not enough space available on the disk. The flash drive that I use for this is 64 GB, so I doubt that the issue has to do with not enough available space. I have already tried the obvious, like reformat the flash drive and retry the write. Is there something I could hurt or do differently to make it work?

  • Tecra A4 - USB keys do not appear in 'my computer '.

I recently had to restore my TECRA A4 system after a disaster, since then, usb keys do not appear in 'my computer' and aren't available to use? However, they are listed in the device under usb devices Manager and hard drives?

I updated the Bios and looked for the updated USB drivers, but nothing found?

    Hello

Maybe stupid thing, but try it please follow: disconnect your laptop computer, adapter sector and battery and leave about 60 minutes. After only 60 minutes connect AC adapter / CC, start your laptop and try to use the USB.

Please let me know what happens after that.

  • USB keys do not work in my VISTA PC, but working in the XP computer.

My PC is only a few months and underwarranty. VISTA is OEM original and authentic. All updates and installed SP2.

But I have several problems with VISTA.

One of them is the following:-

USB keys do not work in this PC. Initially, they are recognized, but as soon as I start the data transfer it stops and does not recognize the keys more. Same USB keys work correctly on other XP computers.

An external hard drive works perfectly on the same USB port. If the port is fine.

    Hello PG_eu,

First of all if still under warranty, contact the manufacturer to execute tests for your USB slots. Have you tried to see if other devices work on the USB plug? The manufacturer of your may be able to replace your computer if needed.

Then, I'd go for the Device Manager to see if you have errors. Go to Device Manager and see if you have a yellow fringe! showing that there are errors with your USB devices. Open the Device Manager in Windows Vista via the management utility of the computer, the Control Panel, or from the command prompt by typing in devmgmt.msc.

You can go to the different tabs and see if the devices work properly, should be cancelled or update your drivers.
You can also go into the event viewer and see if you have errors on your hardware devices.

    I hope this helps.

  • Dell: inspiron 1525 not boot from a USB stick, USB key are not not in the start option.

    Hi all

I bought this dell laptop inspiron 1525 in the year 2008 with mentioned configuration:

    Core 2 duo processor

    1 GB OF RAM

Due to some problems in my windows vista, I decided to install a new windows vista in my laptop. I run the dell support live cd at the start of my laptop and created the partitions on my system. But while the new installation OS on the cd i found that optical drive of my system does not work very well. so, I decided to install the new OS of USB. I went to the BIOS and selected the USB key in the boot sequence. but when I tried to install the new OS while pressing the F12 key, USB key is not listed in the start option.

could someone help me to install the new OS in my machine? It is very urgent that my machine is down for 1 week.

Please try attached BIOS changes screenshot than everything be useful to me.

    Thank you

    Gurpreet

    Hi Gurpreet,

    Thank you for your response.

My apologies if I seem repetitive, but when you go to the Option of boot sequence in the system configuration screen, do you think that the USB storage device listed? And do you see a number in front of it?

Go to the option for embedded devices and check if the USB ports are enabled or disabled. If disabled, change the option and enable the USB Ports.

If this step does not help, go to the Maintenance option in the system configuration screen and press enter on 'Load Defaults'. On the side right, highlight 'Continue' in green, press Enter and then save & exit.

Please keep us informed of the results.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • USB key does not

My USB key "command in use by another program" when I go to delete, format, or add things when well even's them not all programs upward, which is to use it.

    Help?

    Hello

A clear way to determine if a service or something hangs the process is to start your system with a cleanboot, then repeat the process.

Here is an article for cleanboot.  Follow the steps until you have isolated service.

  • Watch USB key and not the Sansa player

When I plugged in my sansa e260 v1 to the computer for the first time, I think what he recognized as a sansa e260.  Well, I wanted to get rid of the files of stock on the player that I did the format process (Virgin sansa.fmt file).  Well I did, and now it seems that whenever I plug the sansa to the computer, the computer just shown as a USB key.  I can click on the drive and it shows all folders on the sansa and I can drag and drop files into the music folder and they seem to play ok, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced my problem.  When I moved on several MP3s (about 10), the player says 'written' for hours.  Now, I also placed on 1 song and disconnected the sansa when the computer showed that it has been copied but the sansa continued to show "writing".  Another question I have is can I installed rockbox.  When I try it says "disk access denied permission.  All of the above questions, I have the sansa player has been in MSC mode.  I had the most up-to-date firmwaree also when these issues were ongoing.  I have downgraded the firmware but didn't try something else without some advice.  I m running Windows vista.  I really like this player and hope, that I can get rid of these questions, and then I'll be totally satisfied.   Thank you for your time in advance.   I hope that I gave all the information that would be required.  If this isn't the case, I'll try to provide some other info someone may need.

I called Sansa.  They accompanied me through the formatting through windows.  They could not tell me something, all being stuck in the writing mode if other say formatting it may fix this problem.  I wish they could just come out and say tehre is a bug and they do not have a fix for this.

  • USB key is not considered to HP PAVILION CORE I5 and MS 7613

    Hello

I just got my new HP desktop HP PAVILION CORE I5 motherboard MS 7613 and im trying to install windows 7 without success, because in the BIOS the usb memory key does not START options. Don't see these settings in the bios to boot:

Floppy boot priority group - not installed

    Group - HP DVD-RAM GH60L CD-Rom boot priority

Group ST3100052AS HARD drive boot priority

Network boot priority group - not installed

More than that, I tried testing with two different usb sticks in different USB ports and the system could not start when trying to install windows 7. The two sticks were properly formatted and I have done some testing old NetBook of the mine and windows 7 have been successfully installed from two flash drives.

One of my usb stick http://www.amazon.co.uk/PNY-Transformer-Attache-Flash-Drive/dp/B009J0HM94

Second removable disk is named pro usb drive

Also two usb keys are seen in the bios on the USB PORTS SETTINGS

Any direction to help me to windows on my machine is very appreciated.

    Thank you, Bobby

Check in the BIOS for Secure Boot settting_it must be disabled before the CMU machine can boot from any source in addition to the hard drive. Also activate the Boot legacy. Save & Exit.

When starting with the USB key, press ESC immediately after turning on. This should bring up the boot F9 option where you use the arrow key to move to the low to highlight/select USB Flash. Press on enter.

  • Staples relay USB key does not?

Recently, I bought a relay 8 GB USB Flash drive, and it works great under XP. But in Vista, it will run for 2 seconds and then stops. I tried everything I can think of. (Tho can't really remind them now. =) Staples support has not been able to help me, (big surprise), so I guess it has something to do with Vista. I just installed SP2 as well and it still doesn't work. When I bought it, I have the formatted in FAT32, with the Vista laptop.

It does not give any error message, it just stopped responding. Almost as if I would take it outside, but it's not. Whenever I try to open it, it closes. With whatever it is.

Help, please. :( I have things that I need it.

    Hi Tosai,

Welcome to Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

Vista does not recognize devices that are the reason for the USB key to the FAT 32 format, that is perhaps not getting recognized, you may need to convert the machine to NTFS, follow these steps to convert the machine to NTFS:

Click Start > type in the Device Manager in the research starting > expand disk drives to find the USB device > click with the right button on the player > select Properties > then go to the policies tab > select the "Optimize for performance" option and click OK, and then do the format, then select NTFS.

Additional information: convert a hard disk or partition to NTFS format:  http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/414a3808-283a-4e4d-b5ff-1a6d06f597d31033.mspx

    Hope this information is useful.
Let me know if it worked.

  • Usb keys do not work on HP CM1415FNW

I have a printer HP CM1415FNW. I need to scan and transfer of files on my usb key. In fact, the printer may read less than 8GB, over her keys cannot read.

    Is there a solution?

According to this Manual on the walk up to the USB function, the printer does not support USB flash drives, over 2 GB, so it's likely that the 8 GB working.  You could try to do an update of the firmware and see if that gets a job 16 GB, but more probably it won't help.  If you need help with the update of the firmware, I would like to know what operating system using the your and I'll connect you to the latest version.

  • Cannot access BIOS when OS disk encrypted w / Bitlocker, starting on the USB key is not unlock disc

    Hello

I enabled Bitlocker on my Acer Aspire 5315. The system partition is encrypted and the data partition. My motherboard doesn't have a TPM chip, so I opted for the unlock with a USB key.

When I start the PC or wake them from their hibernation, the splashboot (with the logo of Acer) BIOS screen does not display the information below on how to access the BIOS (press F2) or the boot menu (F12). And therefore I can't access those as I used to.

BitLocker does not account for the USB key, then asks for the password to unlock the HARD drive. Then Windows starts very well.

However, restart (by a Windows or after you have entered the wrong password Bitlocker too many times), the BIOS splash screen is normal (with how access BIOS and boot menu), I can access BIOS by pressing F2 AND succesfully Bitlocker unlocks the HARD drive with the USB flash drive without having to ask for the password.

So, my question is how Bitlocker unlock the HARD disk automatically via the USB when the PC starts?

    Thank you for reading.

Note: I posted this question on http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprosecurity/threads they suggested that I ask the Acer support.

Thank you also get answers in the TechNet forums.  I'm sorry that you were unable to get a more complete answer it.

We suggest that you uninstall BitLocker and decrypt the drive to determine if this restores your ability to access the BIOS.

  • Pny 4 GB USB key does not work on my new computer?

PNY 4 GB USB attached flip key will not work on anything ive tried including the update of drivers on each computer for that material and all the drivers?

Unfortunately this did not help, the USB is not but the age a year but already had important things, Ive already lost the last 6 months b/c my new windows 7 was a pilot missing and with my boot cd "s out of State, I had to restore to be online for school»

Unfortunately - when one of these drives (USB thumb drives) goes to the South, more often - it is always toast.  There is no real help to recover the data: that is why everything should be saved.

You said you tried it on several computers (... on all computers...) so it's probably a Goner.

Maybe this drive letter is hidden. You are able to access the drive by typing the path or the drive letter in the address bar to explore or the run [Windows key + R] dialogue box?

  • USB key are not displayed

My VM is running Windows7 and none of my USB key appear. How can I make them appear in Windows Explorer?

First of all, make sure that your host can see, follow these steps in your VM Workstation:

In the attached photo, this is an example of my external hard drive, all you have to do is click on Connect (disconnect the host) and you should be able to access it from inside your virtual machine. In case there is problem and this can be done, you can still use shared between the host and the VM folders
