USB key does not appear in windows 7 sys.

When the USB key is inserted it does not appear when the "computer" is selected.  I can not get information outside or inside.  If I go to "defraggler" it appears in the list readers here.
Help, please.

Maybe this drive letter is hidden. You are able to access the drive by typing the path or the drive letter in the address bar to explore or the run [Windows key + R] dialogue box?

    Hello

Check if the same works in different USB Ports, in Device Manager if there are any unknown devices or try to uninstal and reinstall USB Root hub, that should help you. Let know if you have the same problem. You can also check with all other USB devices if works.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.

  • product key does not match current Windows SKU

I completely rebooted my laptop using the recovery DVD and completed the recovery process until the windows implementation required me to type my windows product key. I typed the key that was on the label of my computer case. However the phrase 'product key does not match current Windows SKU' is displayed. What should I do?

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Communities.

I'm sorry to know that you encounter some problems using the product key. Let me try and help you with this question.

Did you purchase this license from a merchant reseller?

    > You made the it.
    > The product key you entered does not match the key assigned to Windows on your computer. The SKU is waiting for a key matching the installed version
    > The product key has already been used on another computer.

If you are still having the same problem, then please contact Microsoft Service customer to confirm if the product key is the right one for the current version of Windows 7.

How and when to contact Microsoft and support Customer Service

Hope this information helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

  • Windows 7 key does not match current Windows SKU

I bought 2 copies of Windows 7 Home Premium a online retailer which has a badge of software Microsoft Geniune. Just installed a high tower HP 4515 s workbook and when I entered the key - it would not constantly give this message"Windows 7 key does not match current Windows SKU"

During the installation we chose "Custom (Advanced) Option" as it was not an upgrade - my lap top was new with no operating system on it.

I tried to enter both keys where they were mixed, but not joy.

Please help if you know what I did wrong.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer, before the show?

    Solution A:

For the problem with the external drive not appearing is not in Windows Explorer, see the following methods.

    Solution B:

For the problem with the help and Support, check if the service is enabled.

    a. click Start, click run. In the Open box, type services.msc and press ENTER.

    b. right-click on the service called Help and Support , and then select Properties.

    c. under the general tab, set the type Startup to Automatic and click Start.

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

    Norm

    Hello Norm58,

I suggest that you install the drivers for the Plantronics device and check if it is enabled in the playback devices.

    a. Click Start, type Sound in the box to start the search.

    b. click sound in the results of search at the top of the start menu.

  • CD/DVD drive does not appear in Windows 8

My CD/DVD drive no longer appears in Windows Explorer in point 8.1 of Windows on my desktop HP Pavilion Slimline 400-034. The disc rotates during startup. I tried the troubleshooting of Microsoft Window 8 with no luck. I would try the HP troubleshooting which requires access BIOS when booting, but by pressing F10 at startup me does not BIOS but Windows load normally. Any suggestions to at least help me get the BIOS?

Solved! No. thanks to HP. Even if I had never opened the file on my PC and make sure that the cable DVD could not be disconnected, I decided to look for. Much to my surprise, he has been disconnected - but not by me - by a HP technician. I remembered that I had to return the PC to HP to replace the power supply warranty in June 2014. Not only have they not reconnect the cable SATA DVD, they put the cable from the hard drive in the MB connector where the DVD cable was supposed to be. After trial and error and insert the DVD cable in the 3 open SATA connectors with no luck, and finally move the cable from the hard drive to another connector and put the cable DVD where the cable from the hard drive was, the DVD has been recognized by Windows and working correctly. Thanks to HP for the many hours I lost to try to correct their mistake.
