USB PORTS NOT EXTERNAL SENSORS

I have 3 usb ports on my laptop HP Clubhouse.  Have never encountered a problem like this in the past.  I can use my external mouse, USB port will not read a flash drive or an external hard drive.  I checked the Device Manager and there is no error message, and all USB ports are read as working properly.  I installed all the news updates and drivers and still nothing.  I could understand if I was to receive error messages which is however not the case.  Is it possible that all 3 of my USB ports would die at once, and if so, why all this bed as usual.  Help, please!

I have a Satellite P10-304 and the USB ports not recognize anything that are attached to them. Device Manager tells me that they are enbaled and works correctly. What can be wrong with them or what can I do?

    Hello

One of my friends has the same unit on the work and everything works perfectly. It uses the USB hub too and have many external devices connected to the unit.

By the way: something like who can occur if the external device is not removed correctly use safely remove hardware option. If you try to connect any other device after that in most cases it is not recognized at all. In this case, you can restart the device or remove ports from the Device Manager and use the hardware detection to find them again.

  • Spectrum of HP 13-v013tu: USB port not working not not the spectrum 13

Hello.  I bought the HP 13-v013tu a few months ago spectrum and in general the laptop works very well.  However, I noticed that 3 C type USB ports in the back, one of them do not work.  The USB port for the electrical connection to the right is fine, but the two in the Middle, one of them work.  Who does not work does not recognize or even to send power what it is connected (for example, the mobile phone, the external hard drive, load wireless mouse).

I checked the Device Manager and see nothing wrong in the USB options.  Even the option of power management to allow the computer to turn off the device has been disabled.

Can anyone help? Is this a hardware problem?

    Thank you.

USB - C for USB 3 adapter supplied with the laptop you are using? If it works in 2 of the three ports, then the logical conclusion is that the third part is bad. You can actually power the laptop of one of the Thunderbolt-C/USB ports (I have one of these laptops) in order to try in the port which is giving you issues and if he does not have the power, then you have a dead port which will require the replacement of the motherboard.

  • Satellite C50 - B - 14 d - USB ports not working not

    I have a C50 Satellite - B - 14 d and had again for about 4 months.

I didn't know that at the time of the purchase (online) that there is no optical drive, so I bought an external.

Trying to plug into it, discovered that nothing happened in the 2 ports on the right side (2.0 and 3.0) so I decided to try the left port 2.0.

It does not detect the device, but it undetects then within 10 seconds, it continues to do this every few seconds it is impossible for me to access my work on CD!

I contacted the people I bought it since then, but they say it's a matter of Toshiba?
Can someone help to solve what I don't want to send it for repair because I can't be without him more than 2 days.

    HHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPPP!

I put t he thinks that the s notebook issue if all the USB ports work in relation to other devices USB; That is to say the USB mouse.

From my point of view of a few external USB CD/DVD drive could not be recognized because of the low power of the USB.

Try to connect the CD/DVD drive to the laptop using the USB Y cable which allows to connect to two USB ports.

  • 8.1 Windows 64 - bit 3 USB ports not working not

I have a model computer T430s 2352CTO, running Windows 8.1, 64-bit version. Before upgrading Windows 8.0 all drivers have been updated. The USB ports 3 worked properly, in particular an external hard drive of 1 GB running. After the 8.1 update, 3 USB ports work always, but only for about 30 seconds, then the hard drive stops. The power led remains on the hard drive, but it no longer displays in windows Explorer.

In Device Manager, I'm gone to Bus USB-> USB controllers Root Hub-> properties-> (under general it says "this device does not work correctly)-> Power Management-> unchecked the box"allow the computer to turn off this device to save energy. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to stop the problem. Any ideas?

I have an Asus Zenbook Ux31e. It has a USB port on the left and right. The one on the left has stopped working a few months ago. The right side works perfectly so I wonder what I can do to solve this problem.

  • USB ports not working no-Windows 7 on Imac

    Hello

I ve just installed Windows 7 on an Imac end 2012, using an external hard drive and running in Bootcamp.
Everything went well, Win 7 works perfectly, but all USB ports do not work. Everything I plug into their t doesn't get recognized (flash memory usb cards, mouse usb, external drives...).   They work in OSX.
All other ports (ethernet, audio, output Thunderbolt) work very well under Win 7.
What I tried, no still no usb operation:
-Reinstall Win 7 (just to check that I used a mouse usb, what worked very well right up until the last reboot needed to complete the installation.) Subsequently died)
-reinstall all software Bootcamp (actually, fix, that you can't just unninstall and reinstall) has done that several times...
-tried to uninstall the usb ports in Device Manager, I couldn't use my Apple wireless mouse more, so I had to restart after the first. Yes, after a restart, he says it's to install the missing disks, yes they are all perfectly... However - install no USB
-No, no problems appear in the resolution of the problems of the unit
Do you have any other ideas I could try?
    Thank you very much.

Hi, my Satellite Pro L10 - 103 USB Ports do not work. I tried different things and finally my Advisor rubbed my computer clean of all programs and operating system. After reloading of the set up disc and having lost my dear some programs I am no further forward. It still does not.

Anyone know if this means that it is a mechanical problem with the computer? (I use Windows XP). Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Buddy,

As wrote Akuma did you use the Toshiba Recovery disk or the Microsoft Windows disk?

After installing XP, make sure that Service Pack 3 is installed. It contains important updates and can be downloaded on the official page of Toshiba.

In addition, try to remove all the USB ports on the Device Manager, restart the computer. Ports will still be recognized and ready to use once.
