USB stick not recognized by the computer. Have tried all the options I can think about.

Very well.  I have a S-Mini Patriot 32 GB flash drive that does not recognize my HP Slimline 400-434 Windows 8.1. In my view, he acknowledged once and has refused to do since. My laptop (Windows 7 Toshiba) recognizes very well.

All other devices USB function perfectly on this computer. USB hub mouse, keyboard, USB, cable Apple iPhone.

1. I tried to unplug all other USB devices before trying this one. IN CASE OF FAILURE

2. I went to device management and the USB does not appear in the list. IN CASE OF FAILURE

3. I uninstalled the USB root hubs and restarted the computer. IN CASE OF FAILURE

4. I tried to plug in the USB ports on the back that plug directly into the motherboard. IN CASE OF FAILURE

5. I have updated the drivers, and have been unable to find a update of the BIOS as the link on the HP download site and told that it is incompatible to my computer. IN CASE OF FAILURE

.. then what the hell gorram bloody I do now?

Good and the most ridiculous way, I never solved a technical problem...

Failed to insert the USB flash in the port. She has to insert slowly, so that the contacts are aligned.

I found it trying to connect to it in my USB hub and noting that the witness red light was going on and outside that I inserted the USB key, flicker on as I inserted it there and then off once it is all the way in.

Weird. But good. It works now.

Hi, I currently pay monthly to the handset Lightrrom 5/Photoshop but I need to be able to merge several images in "Merging HDR" but is not one of the options I can choose currently highlighted.  I guess I'll have to move to Lr 6 but I am struggling to see online how to change the plan?

I suppose you're running a 32-bit Windows version - if PS CC 2015 is available but LR CC 2015 is not.

Help / System Info in LR 5 and look for Application Architecture and System Architecture a few lines down in the list of information.   Something with a 32 or x 86 is 32-bit.  Something with x 64 is 64-bit.

You will need a 64 bit OS to run LR CC or LR 6.

  • USB stick not recognized even on other computers

    Hey-

A few days ago I plugged in (USB) flash drive of 512 MB on my desktop Dell (Windows Vista), and that bubble "USB device not recognized" come at the bottom of my screen. I tried to put in the other USB ports, ports on different computers and the same message appeared. This device seems not more in Device Manager (do not even like a disc without a name). This worked perfectly well before flash player. Is there a formatting problem that must be corrected in my USB key, or what is the problem?

    Hello

If the drive is not recognized at all then you cannot format it no more. Disks wear and/or
go wrong. Most manufacturers of Thumbdrive have Support FAQ, which 'could' help.

  • Constant pop up of the notice that says "USB device not recognized" after the device has been disconnected

Trying to connect a Sony W760 to PC Suite and receive the notification as the "peripheral USB is not recognized. Clicked on the indications of alert and monitoring. The device is not installed. Computer restarted, but the alert keeps popping up every 10 to 15 seconds. How to stop?

Found the answer to the problems by accident. I had turned off my Avast, during the installation of the programs, but did not know that the computer came with Norton already active. Nothing on the screen noted that it is there. The Sony site, under the heading troubleshooting USB and I saw it mentioned to disable McAfee. Became curious and went to control panel > programs and features looking around and found the Norton. Uninstalled, downloaded programs from Sony, install and everything works fine. Just a reminder, check all your security system before installing programs.

I have two devices USB-6009, used with NOR-DAQmx and Labview to make some analogue simple analogue input and output.  The USB box - two 6009 were previously works very well on this PC.  Recently, I got a blue screen of death, associated with a different USB device to (non - OR) connected to the PC.  I not save the information of the blue screen of death.  When I restarted the computer, the USB-6009 devices were no longer recognized by Labview / MAX.  The Green LED on the USB - 6009 s do not come.  The USB - 6009 s appear in the Device Manager of Windows with a yellow exclamation point ("Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device").  If I connect the USB-6009 case to another PC, MAX recognizes them on this PC, and I get the usual flashing green LED.  If I connect another USB-6009 (never connected to this PC), I get a green LED solid, and, says Windows cannot load the driver.

  • USB stick not recognized when creating recovery disc in Windows 8.

Original title: Recovery Media Creator prblem

Hello-I have a desktop K430 Lenovo with a 1 to HDD, Win8 64 b, 12 GB of memory. I'm trying to create a recovery disc using a flash drive HP with 32 GB. I bought a 2 GB Tech Universe that should do the job, but the Recovery Media Creator suggest 16 GB.

I installed USB Flash Drive 32 GB HP which is identified as HPv125w (F): the computer and selected for how to manage the unknown data or take any Action. I formatted the Flash Drive ENF to match my file system. I also chose computer /Devices removable and open as portable devices in the hope that the flash player would be recognized by the Recovery Media Creator, but it didn't happen.

I run the following command to create a Recovery flash drive:

Control Panel/All Control Panel Items/Recovery/create a recovery disk/copy the recovery partition from the pc on the recovery drive (I checked this assertion). I clicked NEXT to continue the process.  I was instructed to connect a USB and the reader must be able to contain at least 16 GB. He also said that everything on the disk is deleted. Identity of the flash player (HPv125w (F) does not appear on the page of recovery media and THEN is grayed out. I need help with this problem.  After checking the Microsoft Community, I learned that I could use search from the start page or opening of office and enter recoverydrive.exe and make appear the Recovery Media Creator. I performed this task once again, but I got the same results, as shown above. Thanks in advance.

  • NEITHER USB-6501 not recognized by the system

    Hi all

I wrote this simple application that writes and reads a SPI frame.

My PC have Labview 8.5.1 and DAQmx 8.7.1 (the CD was provided with my unit NI USB-6501). Everything works fine.

But now I need to distribute the application, and I need to run it from a computer that does not have LabVIEW.

I installed the latest versions of the runtime of LV (8.6), and the 8.7.1, DAQmx software but the program crashes produce an error (code 200477).

I tried to install a more recent DAQmx software (8.9 full, engine of execution of 8,9 only), but the situation has not changed.

Also: I tried on two different PCs, and I launched MAX: one of them doesn't even recognize that a DAQ hardware is installed (even if Windows recognizes as a work device).

Anyway, the two PCs return error 200477.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Best regards

Is - this dev4 on the pc without LabVIEW? You can easily see the device name in MAX.

  • USB stick not recognized by Device Manager

I have a USB drive which worked in my Vista SP2 machine for 2 years until I took it.  I tried to run recently.  Even if the machine recognizes the connection and the removal of the disc with the bong audio, it does not appear in my computer, in the Manager device (like a USB Mass Storage Device - hidden or otherwise) or in the management of Computer Management(for doing fdisk/format functions) disk.   When I insert or remove the disc, the lists of USB in Device Manager do not seem to change.

I tried to delete infcache.1, but in vain.

The player with the same cables and the power supply, is recoqnized and works with other systems my Vista SP2 and SP3 of XP so I can exclude it as does not.

Dig dig into that.  The pilots were to be reloaded, I noticed there is a USB 2.0 mass storage device listed while Vista searched through the database driver.  As soon as it is loaded, the name was changed to Cypress AT2LP (chip Cypress is the controller of housing) and the drive has disappeared.  Did a search for this and it seems that it is a problem running under Vista (drive works forever and then one day things change after an update to Vista).  Rename the driver (CYUSB.sys) and then reboot didn't help.

I took the car to the most recent machine Vista and noted that the pilot has been there for a (USBSTOR Generic USB mass storage device. (SYS).  The drive works now.   Not sure where this storage of Cypress driver came (I certainly didn't not using it), but that was the problem.

  • USB drive not recognized on the A30-151 in XP

After a clean install of Windows XP Pro on a Satellite A30 151, a USB device remains in the category 'Other' (after installation of the graphics and audio drivers, modem) for which no driver seems to be available on the drivers CD. At this point, the category "USB" contains four entries, two standard "Universal Host Controllers" and two "OpenHost' controllers, with the default drivers.
I suspect that the missing device can be a USB 2.0 "PCI controller host improved USB" from another manufacturer, but Toshiba does not offer a driver for XP for it then it should be supported by the OS (?).
Any suggestions as to what can be and what drivers need?

It turns out that XP does support USB 2.0 according to the SP1, it seems a pre - SP1 version of XP Pro leads the native Windows drivers is not available. For anyone in a similar situation, it seems as if a) upgrade to SP1 or b) install the hotfix Q312370)

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Q312370_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU.exe

for the English version should throw a lot of download sites) followed by the autodetection of the native Windows drivers should do the trick. However, the following SP1 problem may come into play

    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/FAQ.jsp?service=EU&FID=TRO0000001c0d

in this case, the "NEC PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller B1" driver required original can be found by searching for "USB driver" for "Windows 2000" for the Satellite A30 Toshiba driver download page.
