  Hi guys

  Can someone help me please...

  I have problems with my built in chicony camera on my laptop U400-145 Finalis.
  I've only had the laptop for a little more than a month and iv of the big problems with it.

  Whenever I use my webcam in a chat in msn Messenger, if its one-way or two-way camera guard and then freezing me start off internet after a minute or two.

  I'm really frustrated with it.
  I tried to sort out but what he we try fails, the Toshiba Support Center (techguys)
  I uninstalled the webcam and reinstalled. I made a diagnosis of memory which came back fine and also through assistance from the techguys deleted and reinstalled the HARD drive.

  This has not solved the problem.
  I connect to the internet via a wireless router - the problem might be there although I never had this problem with my previous laptop via the router.

  Please can someone help before I have throw the laptop out the window!

I tried with Windows Live and Yahoo messenger, and so far all I can do is wave to people LOL. I was never able to get it to work... any ideas?

  Today I bought a Logitech Quickcam for notebooks in case the problem is with the construction in camera. I don't want to install it unless absolutely necessary and think I would need to uninstall the Chicony to make it work... someone can point me in the right direction?

  I would just ignore it, I would never use a period of registry cleaner. They'll hurt you more than to help you. Other uses of CCleaner are great. I use it myself, but never touch the registry.

• Sudden HIGH Ram use (70-80%)

  I was wondering WHY it takes as much memory when the startup of Windows 7? It takes about 70-80% of my RAM. So sometimes, it falls to 20-30%. I don't know if it's because Windows is always responsible for elements of start/programs, but sometimes it REMAINS to 70/80%.

  I don't really have a lot of programs that run at startup (less than 10 actually (seen by MSCONFIG)). And when I disable some services, make sure the "Hide all Microsoft services" checkbox is unchecked, means, I don't mess with my Windows services so that shouldn't be the problem. The services THAT I disabled are those which are useless / those who are NOT needed to be enabled automatically.

  Now type these words on the right, I have 40% of the consumed RAM, with basic services of windows that run and some user defined ones (Advanced System Care, CCleaner, Avast, 7 (total of 252 MB for Chrome) Chrome running services). Google Chrome is not the cause of the problem, we all know Chrome should be like this (* EW) and Explorer.exe consuming 18MB.

  So guys what I need to know is:

  I know that this is not normal cause sometimes it falls 20%, but sometimes it doesn't, so WHAT could be the cause?

  I have no need to speed up my computer cause, is not slowing down with a problem like that, but it worries me, then, HOW can reduce the percentage of use of my ram other than the closure of other unnecessary applications I?

  I have a lot of maintenance such as Avast, Advanced System Care, IObit Malware Fighter programs (which works only no substantive and rarely used) and CCleaner. And I still my turned on Windows Defender, Yes, having a lot of maintenance, programs that run on the bottom could be the problem?

  Hi, I have this problem that started lately. Rarely, I restart my PC, as it always is in any case. Now, every time I restart my PC or Log off, and then log in again, FF forget the active connections and history and I connect on all my sites again. The problem is only concerts on FF and not any other browser since I have an another three (ie, google chrome and netscape) + FF, but I use FF mostly and rarely others.

  I checked all the software that I installed and no product cleaning here as ccleaner and anti-virus settings are checked. I also completely uninstalled FF and installed the latest version and tried to connect to one of the websites before you install any addon.

  The laptop is TOSHIBA SATELLITE C55D-A-149. I realize that it is a budget laptop and processor is quite low. But still, it came pre-installed with Windows 8.1 and as much as I know Windows 8.1 is not optimized for laptops / tablets slow but mine is a very bad performance.

  Startup is slow, file manager is slow, reducing a window takes to always and so forth.

  To determine where the problem is that I ran a cross-platform of reference on my machine, which is on Windows and on linux Ubuntu. I used a live CD to run Linux without installing it. The reference tool used was Geekbench3: http://www.primatelabs.com/geekbench/

  My T130 webcam has stopped working.
  When windows starts, a message saing that the camera is not found there.
