  Hi, I'm fighting with my laptop trying to restore it to factory settings, my cd player died some time ago and I have been using an external.

  One of my friends owns a Satellite U400 and I tried to boot from the external USB CD/DVD drive, but this was not possible. I guess that there is no support on the side of the BIOS.

  I have a satellite U400 laptop and a USB-Docking-Station dynadock.
  The Docking Station has a power supply of 5V and the laptop has a power supply 19V, but the connector are excatly the same thing.

  Unfortunately I mixed the two connectors.
  The result was a big bang and the Docking Station black smoke. It also kills the keyboard and mouse wireless receiver.

  Normally it of not necessary to enable this port. You have to connect your external monitor. Turn it on, and then select the port of entry right here. Then you can plug it into laptop you and normally the external screen will be recognized automatically.

  I assume you mean on the Windows 7 that are preinstalled on the Satellite L655.
  Am I wrong?

  In case you haven't changed anything on this default system, drive HARD recovery must be possible.
  In this case, I recommend check you this doc:

  You can also use the Toshiba Recovery disk to recover the laptop.
  The recovery disc could be created using the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator software which is always pre-installed.

  Just download the last battery Bluetooth for your operating system. Extract it, run the exe file. Follow the instructions.

  Hello. somehow, I can't disable the led backlight. the button at the top of the keyboard that is planned to do now turns off the volume.
  I don't know what caused this problem, perhaps win7 upgrade.

  As far as I know you can disable it using Toshiba HW setup utility.
  On the desktop click Toshiba Assist (hopefully, you have preinstalled it on your laptop) > Optimize > Toshiba HW setup > check if the lighting of the tab is available.

  If Yes use OFF option and confirm with apply.
  This should help you.

  You can also check the advanced settings of the BIOS. If I remember well this lighting option can be also turned off it.

  I am new to Adobe Creative Cloud and have used Apple base 'Photos' collect/store my photos (mainly photographs of family more than 40 years) - Great to take pictures on my iPad to show parents.

  I bought Creative cloud not only to improve potentially good photographs of family and finally properly organize them, but to use it with my new found passion for digital SLR photography.

  However, I now seem to have two series double massive photographs. The one with the Photos of the Apple and the other with Lightroom. Is there a simple way, I use two Photos Apple & Lightroom just the single series of photographs, (though that I need to make changes to the image of files/folders exclusively through Lightroom) other than to have to constantly import/export photographs of an application to the hard drive before, before import/export photos to the other application?
