Used to install printer drivers

I have a Hp Pavilion of 9280 with one 6500 printer all in one cable. It came with win7 installed. The printer is on a network. The printer worked fine with my old computer. On this one, he works from time to time. I've been on the HP technical support for four hours and with Norton and Microsoft just wants me to send money and maybe they will fix it. In devices and printers, there is a yellow triangle on my computer. When I run the troubleshooter it says that drivers are not installed for the printer, and of course when you're talking about windows to find that he never does.

Ok? Have you tried to share your printer from this computer to others on the network? If not try this, first open devices and printers, then right-click on the printer in the list, go to Properties, select the sharing tab and then click on the button to Edit the sharing Options. Now, check the share this printer box and a name should appear now. The next thing you need to do is check the list in the directory box if you have a server that is running Active Directory and if you do not then don't worry in this regard. Now, click the additional drivers button and make sure you have both x 86 and x 64 drivers installed for other computers on your network. If she asked you to install drivers make sure you have your media ready. Now, press the button apply and then press OK. Now to use the printer on other computers, that's what you have to do is to remember the name of sharing, he gave you for your printer, you will need to use this name to attach to the printer. For this, in that you must also know the name of your computer then when you type it will look like this (\\YourComputerName\YourPrintersShareName). Now, at this moment, you will go to printers and faxes (if XP) or devices and printers (if Vista or 7) then you click Add a printer. Now, at this moment, you'll select Add a network printer and if its XP you want to Select a printer shared by name and if Vista or 7, you will choose the printer that I want isn't listed , then Select a printer shared by name. Type in the name of the computer and the shared name for the printer in the line provided, and then click Next. What will happen is it will ask you to install a driver for this printer on the computer, that computer is attached. That must be it and if it does work then I'll see what I can find to help out you.

I hope this works

  • 0001 0002 error message when you install printer drivers

I get the 0001 0002 error message when you try to install the drivers for a Canon Pixma MX892 printer. Five different Canon representatives tried to find a solution - nothing works. (It seems to be a Windows error message rather than generated by the installer of Canon).

The error message appears when a) using the disc of Canon or the drivers of its Web site; (b) after a reboot selective; (c) when the Norton firewall is disabled; and d) each combination of a) through c). It also occurs when

The exact time wherever it occurs during the driver installation process is when Setup "enrolled in the program of information."

Is the exact wording of the message: an error has occurred while files were copied: 0001 0002.

I am running Vista 32 bit and download the drivers using Firefox 18.0.2.

After you have installed many printers without a hitch, it drives me crazy.

Like you, I thought it was an Epson printer software installation problem and went bought a Canon.  Still I can not install two printers software.  The Epson and Canon customer service can not helped at all.  That's when I decided to contact Microsoft.

Yes, I paid for the premium service, and I am pleased that they have set all my PC problems.  Takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete the work. I firmly believe that it is worth the money, in my case.

In any case you can try this free fix by running Microsoft FixIt from this link or copy the address into your browser-

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/mats/windows_file_and_folder_diag/en-SG

I had also used this FixIt several times since to 'fix' everything OS files were inadvertently corrupt or have "disappeared".  Good luck.

  • 0xe0000100 error code when you try to manually install printer drivers

    Hi all

I am running windows 7 Home premium 64-bit edition. I am trying to install the drivers manually for my brother HL-2040 printer, as he was unable to do it automatically.

When I plug the printer to try to download the drivers but find that there is none is available. Then I went to the Windows 7 Compatibility Checker, I found the drivers and download.

I then started to install. 0xe0000100 error message came at the end of the installation. Despite the drivers being installed it is somehow not recognize them as being installed in printers and devices to say that there is none for the device.

I then rebooted and tried to do it again. The same error message appeared.

    Help, please!

    Hi Stacey,

First of all I suggest to remove the printer installed on your computer and follow the steps below to install the printer on your computer and check if it helps.

    6. set the value to automatic, manual or disabled

    7. to activate or deactivate the service immediately print spooler, click on stop or start

    8. click on apply, and then restart the computer.

Once you follow the steps above are trying to install the printer and check if you are able to print.

    Step 2

You try to run the printer troubleshooting utility built into windows 7 and check to see if it helps you to solve the problem. To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the theStart button, then clickingControlPanel.

    2. in the search box, typetroubleshooter, then clickTroubleshooting.

    3. its, and underHardware, click on use printer.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

If the steps above do not contribute to try to connect the printer to another port and check if the printer is detected automatically and installs the driver. Later, try to print and check if it works very well.

I hope this helps. Let us know the status.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Is it possible to install print drivers only more HP Solution center?

I have a HP PSC 1510v AIO printer.  I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro, and I would like to install the software.  However, I don't want all the other software installed, only the printer drivers and the HP Solution Center.  I have downloaded drivers from the HP website, but does not only of the HP SC.

Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so, how get the HP SC software?

Still no. - GB.  Here's what I did:

1 - Uninstall all HP software (I only have the printer HP 1510)

    2 reboot

    3. run 4 batch files that remove the HP stuff.

    4 reboot

5 - run regedit and delete the HP references all known.  Some I was not sure, so I left those alone.

    6. run CCleaner and the portion of registry cleaner.

    7 reboot

8 reinstall the software using the CD with the software.

What I'm left with is the printer is working and Solution Center will begin, but it says "no device found".  From there, if I try to install the printer, it crashes the computer when installing the software is looking for the printer.  I left this run for 60 minutes, so I leave enough time to settle.  BTW, to step #8 above, the installation repository directory shows that I specified in the first install I have done, so all the uninstallling I don't becomes less.

    I'm stuck!  Any ideas?

    Hello

What is the exact full error message?

You can try the following methods

    2. Right click on the file and select "Properties". Click the 'Compatibility' tab at the top of the window that appears.
    3. Check ' run this program in compatibility mode for: "and select"Windows Vista"in the context menu.

    Bob,

The printer would not automatically install for me, understandable with a beta os.  The HP install disk refused to run on a system not recognized, so I had to run the installer in compatibility mode.

For interested people, Windows 7 works great for me on a system of 3 years (Pentium D with 1 GB ram.  I'm even using the x 64 version.

  • Used to install keyboard drivers

It doesn't matter what keyboard I'm trying to use on my laptop. Whenever I plug it says installing drivers and all I get is a failure message. I went into Device Manager and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the manufacturers Web site. I even tried a comfort keyboard 2000 of Microsoft, and it does the same thing.                                OS windows 7 Home premium. I got the computer of an individual and not new or renovated so I think they may have done something to cause this problem without knowing. Also when I try to install the windows 7 SP1 updated it says it fails and needs to restore. These 2 problems could be related in some way? I generally think most of the stuff out there, but... it left me speechless. Help, please.

The system may have a hidden recovery partition to create the recovery disks on this laptop instructions of manufacturers.

Or you can contact that manufacturers support line to request records for a small fee.

Unless reset you as long as the plant you have no idea what the previous user does with the system or installed / downloaded program files.

You cannot correctly install a driver by moving it to another folder, which does not work

You also have the problem that Win sp1 installs.

So overall you have a damaged system you won't be able to heal until first put you it to a State factory. (Or buy a commercial version of win7 to clean install)

    Is BTW, this laptop brand/model?

  • HP Officejet Pro 6230: Install printer drivers when no internet connection

I need to install the base for a 6230 OJPro on a PC printer driver that has no Internet connection.

The HP installation wizard insists to request registration information (e.g., zip code), then try to go online to return it to HP.  While the PC is connected to a network, there is no Internet connection, and the installer crashes.

I get a Dr. Watson dialog box (I cancel), and then the Setup Wizard tries to go online (new) to find a solution to the accident.

Is it possible to install the printer driver, but not request registration information and/or jump to go online to register?

I did find a guide the administrator (or similar) which offers etc command line switches for changing the behavior of the installation wizard to do this.

    Thank you

    @John-Smith,

Thanks for the clarification. I went ahead and installed the basic printing software on my lab and managed to make some changes in the installer so that it automatically opens the online registration. See below:

Open the basic software download, click on the next button until you get the facility agreements and settings, here you have to click on the link that I've highlighted for you, see the image below:

Now once here, please uncheck the option I have pointed out, you can also choose to disable the other options here, I'll leave to you. See the image below:

Once you have unchecked the box to register online, click Next and continue with the installation.

This aid? I look forward to hear from you.

Thank you once again, if you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the "Thumbs up" to give me a "Bravo".

  • Photoshop wants to install printer drivers

Hello this question was me angry for a few days now and I can't seem to find help on this topic anywhere.

The company that I work is an international design firm to send us files .psd behind all of our offices.

Recently, I met a problem that seems to be in connection with saving a .psd file.

When one of our other offices save the .psd file she apparently saves the information of the printer with it.

Now, when our office here in the United States wants to print this file, it prompts you to install the printer located in our other offices.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? If we choose not to install the printer driver, it takes what seems an eternity for the print dialog box appears.

If we do not install the printer driver and then when the computer starts it tries to connect to our other offices around the world, which takes forever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes, the print settings are saved with the document, and they are pointing to a worldwide network printer.

You might ask the people who send you the documents if they could print on a local printer rather on a network printer before you save the document (they don't even to print, simply click on "Done" in the print dialog after selecting a printer that is not shared), and then the printing code will fail quickly because he will not have to search on the network printer , and you will get the default settings for the default printer.

I make a note to myself to try to find a way to make it easier to nuke the print settings when opening dialog print in the future, but for today, your two choices are to install the printer driver and wait for the connection around the world, or not install the driver and put up with Windows asking if you want to install the driver.

    I'm sorry.
