    Regrettable that the problem exists.

Seems like a problem in the BIOS settings, it would be good to check with the manufacturer of the PC.

They might have more insight on this.

  • Userinit.exe error message

I just got a loaded T410i with Windows 7 Professional. I started loading in the programs (Firefox, Office 2010 etc.) when I got an error message saying "Userinit.exe" would not start correctly (0xc0000142). I googled the error message and I tried to follow advice ensuring that the registry value for userinit.exe was OK, and it is. There is no wsaupdater.exe is located in the folder System 32 (another common problem) and user group policy is also set correctly (another common problem fix).

The system does not start even if I can't get into Safe Mode. I'm at the end of the roll, trying to understand what is happening. All the world run into this error? He would have to do with the 64-bit operating system?

Thanks for the reply. I got a virus running called Avira freeware which is fairly well regarded. I did a scan in safe mode, and it did not find anything; no viruses, no malware. I googled the daylights out of the error messages and files. There are some registry keys to verify, but they are all checked very well. The files were in the right places in System32, so I basically gave up and he handed over to the company who bought the laptop for me. They have it now and try to fix it.

The worst we can do is to recharge the system, but unless one of the files has been damaged during the installation of the operating system (Windows 7), I'm afraid it will just keep coming to the time where I'm logged on the Net. I had a firewall and an antivirus running and installed when I was struck with it the first time. So I think it's a corrupted file.

Even the startup folder seemed it was OK. I mean that the thing was old when these malfunctions started coming three days only. A new facility is perhaps the way to go.

  • PC needs to be repaired, File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe, error Code: 0xc000000e

I tried to install Windows 8 on my PC that was dual-boot WIndows 7 from 2 different hard disks and would choose between the 2 at the start.  So I deleted the partition of a Windows installation and installed Windows 8. Everything seemed to work fine, I could start and choose between Windows 8 or 7 and both worked well. Then, I updated a graphics driver Win 8 and caused problems with Win starting 8 by a black screen and nothing else. There is no restore point so I decided to start by deleting the partition. I have re installed Windows 8, but now when I boot I get an error screen.

So, I ask your help to solve my problem.

I provided you with the cause of the error and possible resolutions in my first post. I'm not going to spend a lot of time trying to reproduce a problem and find a solution for something that is not compatible.

    diramos
I ask you to read my previous post.

I recommend to read my first post and look at possible causes, that I pointed out. If they do not resolve that problem, then post back with more information.

I try to help as much as I can with material not picked up and software configurations, but since they almost always require reproducing the middle right to solve is not something that I help out carefully.

Not supported hardware and software configurations are something that you need to fix yourself or with the help of the community. I'll give you the sense when I can.

    Hi, Georgia,

This could be a limitation of the fast user switching feature.

The fast user switching feature may not work if there is insufficient computer resources to create a new Winlogon service thread. When there is insufficient resources, the system may stop responding (hang), the system may lock up computer or the user may receive a Userinit.exe error application and the following error message:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000012d)

Method 1: In these cases, some users must log on to the computer, or you must close some programs to free up the resources of the computer.

    For more information, see:

A discussion on the availability of the fast user switching feature

This problem may also occur due to registry settings incorrect shell.

Method 2: Try the steps listed here.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • application error Userinit.exe & rundll32

I don't know if anyone has any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I am Windows Windows XP Home SP2 on a Satellite edition.
I think I have a virus that prevents me to connect to my computer properly. Whenever I connect to my computer, it shows the desktop, but nothing else. He then says "userinit.exe application error 0xc00000005 application failed to initialize properly."

I have to use the Task Manager to find the office. I then give me rundll32 errors with the same error as stated above code. The rundll32 error prevents me from doing anything administrative, so I can not turn off the system restore, I could save a copy of the virus.

I ran superantispyware and it seems to keep finding the same virus without getting rid of them.
I really want to do a repair install, I can't find my cd.

In my opinion these two files are not affected by viruses.
Maybe your superAntiSpyware it cannot recognize as common system files.

    To ensure that your system is not affected by a virus, you should try to use multiple VRU and spy ware applications;
I use the software called Antivir. The standard version can be downloaded for free from various Web sites. I recommend also using an Ad-aware and spy boot Search and Destroy. All these tools prevent system of Trojan and Virus attacks. You should use it too.

  • Metro Apps does not it gives me an error code 0 x 80070002.

Well, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse, and I searched through these forums to find answers without end. Either find the thread dead and no patch or the latest comments in 2012 and 2013, so I thought that maybe I could have more luck if I just posted my own question and hope for a response.

This morning, I noticed that none of my apps metro are working, mail, weather, sports, calendar, even the store. I tried some different suggestions I found on here and other sites as well, but nothing seems to work. Initially the apps were all simply not anything, I click on the tile and it would be as if I never clicked on it at all, they would not literally nothing. Now, I noticed that each one of the metro app tiles have a little x in the corner. I did not updates on my computer, I have not filed my OS, I'm still on windows 8, which is installed on my PC and I am not and will not be interested in 8.1. I installed it once when it was first offered for free and it completely destroyed my computer and had to restore everything to the factory and have lost everything.

    I've tried so far, corrections

1 reset the app store - I was able to reset the cache by using the WSReset.exe and it does restore and restore the app store, so that the store works now but still nothing else.

2 update apps have proven to be updated applications and he always tells me ' this application has not been installed - view details "when you click on details it give me the error code 0 x 80070002.

    Hello

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community. Could you please answer the following questions so that I can help you better.

    1. do you use proxy connections to connect to the internet?
    2. do you get an error message?

    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

You may experience this problem if the applications or drivers of graphics cards are not updated. Follow the steps in troubleshooting of these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1:
You can see the link to download and run the Troubleshoot utility app on the computer that checks all the problems with Windows applications on the computer:

    Step 1:

    Run the troubleshooter of App

Before I provide the steps for troubleshooting the app, I want you to know some basic information before running an application:

    > User account control settings need to be enabled.
Note: User Account Control (UAC) notifies you before changes are made to your PC that requires administrator-level permission. By default, UAC is set to warn you as soon as apps try to make changes to your PC, but you can change how often UAC notifies you.
    > To align the apps, you need at least 1366 x 768 screen resolution.
    > Requires Microsoft account.

Note: This utility automatically corrects some problems that may prevent your running applications, including the suboptimal screen resolution and security or incorrect account settings.

Run the Troubleshooter of Apps. This tool can automatically identify and fix problems with the applications.

Step 2: Please consult the following link for troubleshooting if the troubleshooter does not help:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/what-troubleshoot-problems-app

Method 2: I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for video card and check.

First, download the graphics card drivers on computer manufacturer website:

    1. Press the Windows key + X, and then select Device Manager.
    2. You can look for graphics cards and expand it.
    3. Right-click on the graphics card and choose uninstall.
    4. Install the downloaded drivers restart the computer and check.

If not being able to find a driver for your device, see the website of the manufacturer of the device, or insert the CD-ROM supplied with the device, and then follow the instructions to install the software.

I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.
