Users of 10.6 UCCX reports permissions

Hi all

UCCX: 10.6.1.11001 - 31

We went just 8.5 to 10.6 UCCX just this weekend and I found out today from one of our supervisors to call center seeking CCX historical reports was not working. Then after searching online I find this program has been deprecated in favor of the Cisco Unified Intelligence...

I seem to be able to login with my user id that is configured as a Director, Reporting user, supervisor, etc... However, everything that I click on it it said I don't have permissions. I get the same results when I log in with the administrator account on CCX.

The only thing I seem to be able to do with the two accounts is the security > user list page. But, in both cases (* user in as the user) I see that the user I'm currently logged in as. And when I check the user and click on edit, all the 'Rôles' checkboxes are grayed out and is the only thing that I can change the text boxes for name, organization, E-mail, etc...

So, how can I configure users have permissions to access Cisco Unified Intelligence to create & run reports because at the present time, not even the administrator can access these pages... ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Matt, since you upgraded to 8.5 to 10.6, I have a strong feeling that you hit the underside of default:

Please note that you must enter same username you want should be the Super User CUIC three orders mentioned in the workaround of the defect. In an ideal situation, the CUIC Super user is the user of the Application created during installation and is also used to log in to the Cisco Unified Serviceability on UCCX page

So let's say your Application user is admin then orders should be as below:

run sql update mmca_propertydef set defaultvalue ='admin'where propertyname =' OAMP. Superuser"

execute sql delete from cuic_data:cuicuser where name ='CUIC\admin' and id! = "1111111111111111111111111111AAAA".

run sql update cuic_data:cuicuser set name ='CUIC\admin' where id = '1111111111111111111111111111AAAA '.

After you run the workaround, restart the CUIC CLI services below

Please note the above workaround must be done on the main server UCCX, but the services must be restarted on UCCX servers (in the case of HA)

Once you've done everything right, as noted above, then run below command and you should be able to see only one user as CUIC\ which is the superuser

    Who knows where these things but I found a way to do it through security groups. Go to settings > users > groups (tab) and then click the name of the Group and in the right window, there is a list of the different things to change, click 'Action permissions' and it should be the first point to the analysis > export the report data.

    I don't know how to do it by the user.

    In addition to comments of Bruce, likely OE compacted messages and in doing so, he probably wiped out the where they are absent.  Check your Inbox and message store bak files which are backups dbx files prior to compaction (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2).  If you cannot find the bak files, then you will probably use the extract of the service drive of my DBXpress program (see www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/).

    I use a hp pavillion slimline pc with pre-installed vista home premium. Every now and again the user account control appears that need permissions to run hprbupdate.exe.0CA9EAA1_22E0_4F04_BFEE_7C3E208317AD. I have no idea what it is, but I can confirm it anyway. I used several analyzers of viruses and rootkits and my system is clean up. I use Super anti-spyware, Malwarebytes, Spybot S & D, TDSSKiller and GMER, and I have mse installed for my anti-virus. I do not know why this happens, sometimes, I am away from my computer and later in the day the user account control asking for my permission. I just checked the edits and there is not a moment of windows update or HP update. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    2. have you logged on to the computer as an administrator?

    3. using an HP printer or HP computer?

    The hprbUpdate.exe file is part of the HP software product Wizard.

    Can I know why CLI cancelled by the user does not show on GANYMEDE ACS accounting report. The length of time is displayed, but I also wanted to connect what is the commands issued by the user.

  • EN reports permissions

    Hi guys,.

    I have some reports financial reports that I would like to grant a group of users to access. However, I don't want to give them access to other objects in the workspace.

    I created the shared services group and gave them access to the environment cube and put up with the roles of spectator and an Explorer.

    I have access to the reports in the workspace and put reports in their favorite folders.

    However, when they try to view reports in PDF or html, they get the typical mistake of browser 'Web site can not display the page' and the explanation given in the status bar gives the permission denied error. Code 0.

    The only way I found to allow users to view reports without that error is giving him the role of trusted application. However, this then gives them access to all other objects work space (which I am trying to avoid).


    Any way around this?

    Also have you tried exploring + analyst combination? Maybe if this also does not work, then give NO ACCESS to other folders for users/groups that should not see a particular folder.

  • VCenter: User in several groups with different permissions, smaller approvals

    We finally hit the use of our VCenter setup where we need to begin to use permissions group instead of the individual user's permissions.  I have set up several groups (QA, automation, App, VCenter users and administrators) for our users.  However - I ran into a problem where a user must be in QA Automation and administrators, and I put the appropriate permissions on a pool of resources (QA - unalterable, automation and administrators full control).

    When you connect as long as user is as VCenter uses by default the * least * permissions for the object being verified and the user has only read-only for the resource pool (and spread points).  Is this expected authorizations and vcenter behavior?  I guess the user must get the permissions for all the groups, they are in.

    If you set permissions in vCenter level, then Yes, you need to uncheck spread it to child objects.  What you can do then is add permissions on each individual resource pool.

    Is the ultimate goal only allow these members to have access to resource pools, any VI?

  • How to allow a user to download a custom report generated from pl/sql?

    I am putting together my first app APEX (v 3.1.2.00.02) and I have a requirement that I am not completely sure that the implementation.

    Basically, I have a page where the user can select a set of buildings that they validate. Buildings have an x, ordered as SDO_GEOMETRY and a few other attributes. For now, they select from a dropdown list and I run a SQL query that performs validation and I present the results in a table of Standard report. That everything is perfect.
    Now, there is a requirement to the release of the results of the report in another text running format (called a consultation file), with another desktop application can consume to direct the user to the buildings that need to be corrected. I've included an example of this output below.
    I so want to see the existing Standard report table and also have a link to download the file in. I can use a stored procedure to write output to the file of consultation, but I don't know how it is available for download.
    I could use UTL_FILE to write the browse file to a location on the server, but then I don't know what to do next.

    I'll have a look at the download section of file of the [the server HTTP mod_plsql User Guide | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14337/concept.htm#i1005866] but before we get too deep into it, I wanted to check if anyone has any better ideas how this implementation.

    Add in the following text:

    Who will be back running the query in your results.

    Then, you use this field in your model XMLP.

  • Control user access to reports in vROPs

    I noticed that in vRealize operations Manager, we can say whether allow us a user to view or not (models + those generated) reports page, but I want to know if there is a way to show only some of them about the permissions of the user to the object whose report was generated on.

    I also have a user who has the right to access an object (for example a vCenter). By my Admin account, I generated a report on this vCenter. I connected with my test user account, and I did not see the report generated, even it was generated on a vCenter that I have access to, but it does not show because it was generated by another user, and the report is not shared.

    Any idea? I hope that I was clear. Thank you very much.

    Unlike the dashboards, you cannot share the views and reports. You can only export the model and import it into the user account.

    And I put the PDF display as my default view.

    When I access weblogic user I can see the report, but in the other user, I get error cannot load the PDF Document.

    1 check the roles assigned to your user (let's say it's the role of BIConsumer)
    2. now BI Publisher and add the required data (PDF Data Source) for the role of BIConsumer source in the
    Administration > roles and permissions > Add Data Sources: consumer BI role
    3. move the data source to PDF report of area available to authorized Data Sources Data Sources
    4. click on apply and restart Services (opmnctl)

  • Financial Reporting - the user can access the POV dimensions

    Hello. In collaboration with the 11.1.2.3.700 version. Have a HFM user that can go in HFM and see all members and data (scenarios, entities, customs, etc.) within HFM. When he goes to EN to run reports, however, he has problems with dimensions that are secured in HFM - entity, scenario, (custom) data type. If one of these dimensions is the point of view, they do not show when it displays an overview from the point of view and then the report does not work because there is no selection. If these dimensions are defined in the report (which is not part of the POV), the report runs well.

    There is no preference user limiting POV members and reports are not confined to specific user POV members. Other people can run those reports very well. Also tried to make this user a HFM and the Foundation (which EN) administrator and even there the problem.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello. A great co-worker has solved the problem. She used the ManageUserPOV.cmd utility to export users POVs. The user in question had an entry for the missing dimension, so he was never invited to do and reports failed. Imported and supplied the lack of dimension and it works fine now.

  • Permissions on the report templates & views

    Is it possible to give a non admin user permission to copy a view exsisting or models or give him the right to create a new view or report templates without the ability to remove or modify the default / built-in views and models report?

    The user must be able to remove the views & templates report he created or copied himself.

    I tried this but as soon as the user got delete it or change the law he was also able to remove or change models and integrated views.

    UPDATED July 18, 2016: I dropped a request for service at VMware for that matter.

    I have troubleshooted this extensively in my 6.2.1 lab environment and concluded that it is not possible to achieve in vROps at the moment and we look at a feature request.
    I came to the same conclusion that you mentioned in the case where as soon as the user got delete or modify right he was also able to remove or change models and integrated views.
    Even a view or a report created and owned by the local user admin can be deleted by a user to test if they have the delete permission that their responsibilities under the management of the views. If you don't give them the delete permission, even when they create a notice or report that they own, they are not able to remove it.

    In contrast to the dashboards, which can be shared by the local user administrator and set up for a user in turn, views and reports are not the same.

  • Lightroom CC "User permissions error" - cannot change the permissions for the folder Preferences

    I noticed that Lightroom was running slow so I thought it was time to take stock. (I was using Lightroom 5.7). Yesterday, I downloaded the last LR update, which is Lightroom CC [1067055]. I thought that Lightroom CC would replace 5 Lightroom but apparently they have downloaded as separate applications. When I tried to launch Lightroom CC I got an error message indicating "Lightroom has met permission issues. I followed the directions from this link met Lightroom user permissions problems. Bridge of Photoshop Lightroom crashes or hangs at the launch but it does not set itself (I did not take the final step which is - create a new user account). I was working off of Yosemite, so I hope that the error can be corrected if I updated my operating system. Today, I downloaded El Capitan and Lightroom CC will not always open - I get the same error. I went to manually update the read and write permissions for the folders listed, but some of them don't make changes. The preferences file gives me an error saying "the operation cannot be performed because you don't have the necessary authorization." I don't have the "Adobe" folder in this route Caches

    Try this:

    the Macintosh HD > users > [your user folder... click on 'Go' on the options bar at the top on the desktop (Menu bar) > then click on the 'option' key > mouse down to the selection of 'Library' that should appear > click on it to open the folder /Users/ [your user name] /Library/ ' "]

    You should now find the appropriate folders to change permissions. Just give your user name of the read/write permissions. I don't think you want to give everyone the read/write permission as some authors have claimed.

    The changes are classified according to the activity of update.  If you're updating 1 field at the same time, you will have a new section for each because they get the same verification key.  If you're updating 10 fields in a single click, you will get 10 updates to field in this verification key.  It is a grouping of changes like that.  If you just want to see all the changes, you have to modify your sql, or create a new report and not group them according to audit key.
