I highly recommend investing in a serious training only in those programs, but in the entire task of modern graphic design.

  You can make a selection of chess piece and who fill it with a dark gray or black and lower the opacity and use the tool of transformation to distort the

  I have a question that is more an annoyance than a problem. I put announcements of meetings in Illustrator and then place them in my InDesign template. Instead of 4.75 "x 5,375" advertising placement in a space of 4.75 "x 5,375", I get the announcement and the edge of the blue frame surrounding the announcement. I can hide on the image, but this does not solve the problem. Is there a way to make the edge image exactly the same as my ad borders?   I was sent a final logo in PDF format to use on a poster, that I created in InDesign.

  The way I chose to get into InDesign was to take a screenshot in Adobe Acrobat, save it in tiff format and place it in the InDesign file. However, I feel a certain lack of quality in some small print on the logo (not helped by the fact that it should be small on the poster.)

  Is there a better way for me to do this? I am sure that I also tried to place the PDF file directly in a Photoshop file, saved, and then placed in InDesign and got a similar result.

  Place the PDF file directly in the code. You don't need to bother to pixelate it first.

  Files created in older versions will usually open in later versions. Some features may be different, depending on the software used.

  Save a copy, and in the following options choose CS6.

  In this way, it should open correctly in CS6, and the original document is unscathed.

  You may find that some (new CC) features will not survive the downsaving.

  No one can tell you anything without the proper system or other technical details info. If you have installation problems, start by running the cleanup tool:

• Cannot update files have point 8.1 of Windows when you use illustrator CS5.1

  A really weird problem started today.  I am able to open and work with the files have.  However, when I save the work, the original file exists, no not update work.  I closed and open the AI and restarted the computer.  But I'm still in the dark.   I remember my having seen this (or similar) issue before, but I can't seem to remember the cause/solution.

  He could have (something on) the list below. "resettlement is the last resort 6). ((1-2) are easy and safe. (3-4) are on preferences, ireversibly and reversible. (5) is a collection of other options, some of which may be relevant.

  I also mentioned something on external downstairs, in case that can be taken.

  In any case, I hope that you report your findings, for each of us to know and remember (I hope).

  Sometimes, (some) things can stop working for no apparent reason. When (other) possible reasons/remedies do not work, it can be a kind corruption (temporary or permanent) that can be cured with something on the following list. It starts with a few easy suggestions and safe) 1 and 2) for less severe cases and continues with two 3 ways) and 4) preferences of the society (irreversible and reversible), then follows a list 5) various other possibilities, and it ends with a complete reinstallation 6). If no other suggestion doesn't work, or if no other suggestion appears, you can start on the list and decide how far to go.

  The following is a general list of things, try when

  (A) the question is not in a specific file,

  (B) you have a printer installed, connected and turned on if it's a physical printer (you can use Adobe PDF/Acrobat Distiller as a printer by default without the need to have a printer on, of course you will need to specify when you really need print on paper), and

  (C) It is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media (see below).

  You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

  External media: it is generally recommended here for open/save from/to clean hard disk and to copy to and from networks and removable media. You maybe lucky (for a while), but the chances of corruption of files and other unpleasantnesses are immensely greater when you use something else than the hard drive, and it is better safe than sorry.

  To have a network really work requires little work.

  Make sure that you do not mix Mac and Windows on a network: you must use a Mac with Mac machines and a Windows Server with Windows machines.

  If you go through external means, it is always safer to zip/compress the file to avoid corruption.

  I answered your question: there is nothing you can do in InDesign. You need to ask in the Acrobat forum I linked.

  We tried to solve the problem where save/save as, and Undo/Redo is disabled in InDesign CC 9.2. As Peter mentioned, kindly update ID 9.2.
