Using RoboHelp 8 with RoboHelp 9 style sheet

Howdy. My question:

I was using RoboHelp 8 to work to develop a web help document in a Word file. We have a CSS company we apply to web help for look, feel, etc. He worked in RoboHelp 8, but not 9 despite following the same Word import procedure. Necessary to move to RH9 because RH8 was not to recognize our version of Word to compile and create the web, help files.

How can I make my old style worksheet with RH9? Is there some step I'm missing? Help appreciated with 20.1 bazillion thanks in advance.

I have corrected the problem. I dug into the file of master page that I used, and he was referring to the wrong CSS file. Why it worked in RH8 is beyond me, but it seems to be resolved.

Thanks for all the help!

    I have a client that provides an application to different companies and brands its product by changing the look, using a style sheet selected depending on the brand.

    Is there a way to customize a WebHelp layout, to select a style sheet and a skin 's brand, and another sheet of style and skin for the brand Band so on?

  • Should I use for a model of embedded style sheet or external style sheet?

    IM building my first website. It consists of five pages. I'm looking for just tips on how I should approach it. Should I build the first page, and then create a template to use on the rest of the site.

    And also im a bit confused about when to use a style sheet. If I create a model using an embedded or external style sheet.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I would go with external to the model style sheet - if you need to make a change later to the CSS, there is only one file to download, not all pages associated with the model.

  • Problem with the print style sheet

    I'm trying to create my first "print style sheet" and have a problem trying to prevent the party from displaying page for printing. I tried to create a div for the sections of the form/page that I don't want to print, and all work fine except for the lower part which contains a Captcha box and the send/reset buttons. Attempt of placement of divs results to corrupt the page, so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    The page is in the http://www.coopsnsw.org.au/registration-form.html related to print.css

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Chris

    I found that the problem is the insertion of the div tag in the table caused the conflict.

  • use queries to support for different style sheets?

    I know that this question must be asked all the time, sorry :-).  I have been working on a site and you have great help here for 2 previous questions. But now, I came across another and more than probably the last issue for this site. The page that I write is for my group, many of our fans and everyone have ipads, anodroids and soon. So just to see, I tested my site and 800 x 600 (I know the Res gets much lower than for 320 phones is the norm and 1024 x 768 for the ipad, I think, but it is the lowest, I could go on my pc to test) and I already had problems with the top of the screen being cut into pieces and well sure left and right chopped. I read up on it and I find the media to call sheets css dfferent for different resolutions.  What is togo of this problem? Also when I wrote the page that I was in 1280 x 1024, I did, as I thought it was prob. the resolution more used at this point, it is the best resolution to create? So, in a nut shell, what is the best way to address the resolution and what resolution you create in? Thank you very much for the help past as well as help with this.

    John Dullebawn

    Media Queries would be the way to go for what you want to do.

    Keep in mind that just because this resolution may be the most widespread, it probably doesn't get used very often. Here's what I mean by that...

    I my experience, very few people find anything on the web with a maximized window (I honestly can't do to think of a time where I have never seen someone using a display full-screen browser where it wasn't an accident). Most don't allow their browser to use 80% or more of their real estate property screen because they need room to click back between browser windows or other programs or just to get on their desk to find files.

    The good thing with questions from the media, is that you need not worry about this because you can make one for 1280 x 1024 for the people who use the entire screen. Then an other for 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 480 x 260, basically everything, and all the other resolutions you want to design for.

    It's really how precisely you want to got on the number of possibilities to you.

    Today, I bought a HP LaserJet P1102w printer.  The manual says I can use transparency to clean the paper path.  The alternative is to use "Copier-grade media.  I do not have a transparent and I'm not sure what is meant by 'media Copier-grade '.  However, I feel laser prélubrifiés cleaning sheets.  Can I use these cards?

    Hi AprilSun,

    I would not recommend the leaves using the cleaning wipe.

  • Design mode works only with the external style sheet

    Hi all

    Design mode does not (plain text only, without formatting!) in CS3. So I loaded the same file in DW8 (installed on the same machine) and it works great!

    Anyone have any ideas why?

  • How to create, apply, and modify style sheets cascade

    Hi, so I'm having a problem with creating a style sheet for a project at the school of Dreamweaver.I need to know how to do everything that makes it and applying it to a paragraph with bullets. I use a macbook air so if anyone has a suggestion please let me know.

    Nevermind, I found the problem and it had nothing to do with knowledge of html and css codes .i actually is not that helpful at all.

    It's the problem of how to start with the designer instead of the css panel.however, I had to reinstall dreamweaver and it resettree my settings how it should have been in the first place.so, put it back, actually helped to answer my question.

  • FXML and style sheets

    FXML another question I'm afraid.

    The FXML [url http://download.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/fxml_get_started/jfxpub-fxml_get_started.htm] guide shows how we can define a style directly in the FXML, but anyone know if it is possible to define a style on a node class in FXML which is defined in a style sheet? In the code, this would be through:
    myLabel.styleClass().add("myLabelStyle")
    In FXML, I tried the following options (each fails in different ways):
    <Label text="My Label" style="myLabelStyle"/>
    <Label text="My Label" styleClass="myLabelStyle"/>
    <Label text="My Label" fx:style="myLabelStyle"/>
    <Label text="My Label" fx:styleClass="myLabelStyle"/>
    Better that I came up with this day consists of defining the 'id' of the node, and then use the id selector "#" in the style sheet. It works but it is clumsy and if I have a fx:id for mapping to the controller I need to put both that is painful:
    <Label text="My Label" fx:id="myLabel" id="myLabel"/>
    Anyone got the best options?

    See you soon,.
    zonski

    Hello

    Here is a concrete example of what you wish to achieve.

    The fx:id is here also because this is necessary for the label stored in the right place in the controller. For style, I use the style class.

    .my-label {
       -fx-text-fill: green;
    }

  • RoboHelp 8 doesn't support multiple style sheet links in topic?

    Hello

    I need to include multiple statements of stylesheet to my subjects of RoboHelp 8, but what I see is that RoboHelp will not keep statements - he keeps one. Is it true that RoboHelp 8 does not support this? (Which seems to be the case based on what I see in the forum search).

    I've seen a single mention to an import line in the main style sheet for the second. Is this the only solution?

    Thank you

    Tammy

    Hi Rick,

    It is not necessary to add style sheets bound as hatracks. RoboHelp (8) properly identifies the style sheets and copy them in the output.

    I added all the style sheets related as files of luggage because it is better than cure.

    Take a bow

    Hello

    Is there a way to define a stylesheet by default, when you create a topic in the default style sheet is already selected? One less thing to worry about.

    Thank you

    Create a topic and set the style sheet. It should be the case that when

    you create the following topic, it will use the same CSS. Not quite what you

    but there is no specific setting.

  • Use of tables and style sheet

    Hi all

    I am strungling using tables in RoboHelp HTML 7, to generate webhelp.
    What I'm trying to accomplish is the use of tables in HR, and have put in the form defined in a style sheet. The html code generated by RH should be nice and clean. If possible, I don't want to go into the HTML code, I prefer the use of the design editor.

    I have the following text into a new file in RoboHelp table Gallery:

    Quote:

    < table >
    < caption > CAPTIONTITLE < / legend >
    < style COL = "" width: 5%; ">"
    < style COL = "" width: 40%; ">"
