using the usb key in veristand

Hello

Use Embedded data logger custom peripheral in veristand we could record data to the tdms file format located in the "c:\logs" on RT PXI. If I want to access this file, I am the pxi start in windows and then I could only access the file for analysis. Its very difficult to access the file process because I have to start every time in windows mode. My qustion is can I connect the data on USB RT PXI controller instead of recording on HDD PXI RT as in cRIO, we give the path directly on the USB as «U:\»... » ?  And another option to access the RT file on the host...?

The channel of "Order Log" command the save operation of data inside the integrated data logger.  You can use this channel to open or close data files.  Valid values are:

0: idle (no order)

1: open the file. Closes the previous file reference if it was open and opens a new file reference.

2: close the file. Close the reference of files without having to open a new file reference.

The Log command channel is reset to idle once the order is processed.

I address your requirement by writing regularly 1 on the control channel Log.  You can do this with a combination of channels, alarm and calculated procedure.  I do not expect the current file is available when you shut down the system down, that is only the second to last and previous newspapers will be valid.  There are other ways to accomplish your condition, but it seems simple to me.

I have 2 hp pavillion sleekbook model 14-b017cl'. I replaced the hard drive in my son after that she doesn't have the "optimized hard drive dst test '. I used my sleekbook work to create a USB stick recovery. I followed the instructions to use the recovery to Win 8 usb drive. When I started the laptop of my son, with the USB stick inserted, I got this message.

PXE - m0f: exit pxe rom

no bootable device-insert bootdisk and press a key

Flash player Flash when I put under tension. I rebooted, you press F2, conducted an audit on the new hard drive, happened.

Later, I inserted the recovery key in my laptop (that I used to create it) and it would not initialize to top. I checked the content to the flash drive and they seemed "Chargers", so it seems to be what I expected. It seems that the recovery USB STICK will not work if my own laptop dies. What I have to buy the HP flash drive, or I'm doing something wrong.

    Hi @gretschman7,

    Thank you for your query.

I understand you are trying to perform a recovery from a USB flash drive, but you get the error "pxe - m0f: exit pxe rom.

"no bootable device-insert bootdisk and press any".  You check the recovery media on your laptop as it is the same model and it seems fine.

Looks like you may need to change the boot sequence. Here is a link to HP - performing a recovery system (Windows 8) HP computers that will help you.   Here is a link to a YouTube video which can also help:.  Performing a recovery of HP system on a laptop HP with Windows 8.

I think that the laptop it tell you that the Thumbdrive could not be formatted for all functions of Windows 8. The iPad does not support USB keys. There are some wireless flash drives that can be used, but not the classical records. I suggest you transfer files to a computer and their synchronization then back to the iPad via iTunes.

The screen is grey anthracite dark with white writing and gives me two options, to select one of the options that I would need to use the arrow keys on the keyboard and press ENTER to the action of the selection. The problem is fashion seems to be invalid the USB ports and the touch screen, so I can't select and option of each key board or screen and it will not pass, is just stuck on the screen, making the computer unusable.

  • Cannot access BIOS when OS disk encrypted w / Bitlocker, starting on the USB key is not unlock disc

    Hello

I enabled Bitlocker on my Acer Aspire 5315. The system partition is encrypted and the data partition. My motherboard doesn't have a TPM chip, so I opted for the unlock with a USB key.

When I start the PC or wake them from their hibernation, the splashboot (with the logo of Acer) BIOS screen does not display the information below on how to access the BIOS (press F2) or the boot menu (F12). And therefore I can't access those as I used to.

BitLocker does not account for the USB key, then asks for the password to unlock the HARD drive. Then Windows starts very well.

However, restart (by a Windows or after you have entered the wrong password Bitlocker too many times), the BIOS splash screen is normal (with how access BIOS and boot menu), I can access BIOS by pressing F2 AND succesfully Bitlocker unlocks the HARD drive with the USB flash drive without having to ask for the password.

So, my question is how Bitlocker unlock the HARD disk automatically via the USB when the PC starts?

    Thank you for reading.

Note: I posted this question on http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprosecurity/threads they suggested that I ask the Acer support.

Thank you also get answers in the TechNet forums.  I'm sorry that you were unable to get a more complete answer it.

We suggest that you uninstall BitLocker and decrypt the drive to determine if this restores your ability to access the BIOS.

  • Network using the internet key to Rogers

I just high speed internet with Rogers internet key (uses cell signal) and it works fine. I went and bought a WRT110 so I could set up a home network, but I never considered that the router wants to be connected to a modem (which I do not have because it's just a small USB key). I know there is a way to put in place the internet sharing with this router but don't know how. I would also be also if possible the ability to share files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sharing Internet can be done, but its not sure if it will work with your type of connection or not.

Connect the USB key to your computer, and then connect the Ethernet cable from your computer to the Internet Port Linksys router, you need to connect one of your computer to the Ethernet Port of the router, you can access the router configuration page and make the changes to this topic.

Click here how to enable ICS.

Once you enable ICS, then go to the computer that is connected to the Ethernet Port of the router and check if you are able to browse Internet. If you are able to browse the internet on your computer, on the same computer, you need to connect to your router and make the changes of no thread on this, so that your wireless computer can go online via the router wireless.

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...
For wireless settings, follow these steps: -.
    Click on the Wireless tab
-Here, select manual configuration... Wireless network mode must be mixed...
-Provide a unique name in the name box of the wireless network (SSID) in order to differentiate your network from your network of neighbors...

-Set the Standard - 20 MHz Radio band and change the Standard channel to 11-2, 462 GHz... Wireless SSID broadcast should be enabled and then click on save settings...
Please take note of the name of the wireless network (SSID) because it's the network identifier...
    For wireless security: -.
Click the sub-tab under wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the mode of WEP wireless security, encryption must be 64-bit. Let the empty password, do not type in anything...
Under type of WEP Key 1 in all 10 numbers please (numbers only and no mailbox for example: your 10-digit phone number) and click on save settings...
Please note the 1 WEP key as it comes to the security key for the wireless network...

    Click the settings advanced wireless
Change the interval of tag to 75 > change the Fragmentation threshold to 2304, change the RTS threshold to 2304 > click 'save settings '...
Now let's see if you can locate your wireless network and try to connect...

  • BitLocker without TPM refuses to recognize the USB key at startup.

I have a Windows 7 PC, I'd need to BitLocker, but it fails to recognize the USB key at startup. I've resorted to skip verification and now enter the recovery key every time you start (this PC has a lot of data on what should be confidential), but it's not ideal.

What is curious to me, is that the computer will start perfectly fine from a USB key, or produce a message of type "non system disk or disk error", if the USB key in question is not bootable. So it is not a matter of lack compatibility USB BIOS. When Bitlocker should read, yet there is no actifvity on the USB key. It seems to just try to read the empty floppy drive then give up.

The PC is an all-in-one RM with an Intel D915GX motherboard.

I tried two different USB, 64 megabytes cheapo player drives I usually use as a Bitlocker key and a 2 GB Cruzer Blade. I mucked with some of the BIOS settings but not in a particularly organized way. And I checked the key file is saved on the disk. Everything I did, Bitlocker will not always see the USB.

    Any suggestions?
