  I was about to publish a new version of my app, when I noticed that previews are no longer works since I upgraded my Z10 10.2.1 to 10.3.1.2243. At first, I thought that I must have inadvertently turned off instant previews in my phone settings, but they continue to work properly when an email, text, or BBM comes in. I also checked the App specific notification settings and everything looks good. The notification is save in the hub and scratch the alarm, but the preview is not displayed. It worked perfectly until I upgraded my OS device.

  I'm doing something fancy in my application that allows me to build a single executable for OS 10.1 who can use the class of improved Notification of 10.2 if the application runs under 10.2 so I have to two generations. It worked fine under 10.2.1 but I was wondering if that ruse was causing my problem so I built a little app to Cascades coming fires a standard Notification 15 seconds after the start (which gives me enough time to switch to another application for the instant preview should be displayed). No matter if I have the build for Mac OS 10.2 or 10.3, in both cases the instant preview does not appear on my Z10. I can't test on a simulator since some sim versions are no notifications in the hub at all, and those that do will display previews not instant, even if the corresponding version of the ARM.

  I wonder if anyone test this for me on a device running 10.3.1.2243. Simply create a "Hello World" application standard Cascades, add the bbplatform library, and then replace the following code for the support. Set the level of the API on 10.2 to use the Notification class that is expected to review instant.

  AH ha! A different story of your title and the way in which the 1st post read.

  Go to Device Manager, while the controller is connected to a USB port
  (have btw - you tried a different port, if it is available?) and to find the name of the controller to Human Interface Devices.
  If there is a symbol such as an X or! next to the name of the controller, there is a problem. The link below gives some troubleshooting information.

  If there is any indicator of problem the controller probably the proper drivers. You can try to R / clicking on the name of the device and try the update driver software option.
  If this does not help and there is no software driver for the controller that supports
  XP (WIn7 too if you want to be able to create the profiles assignment button) on the
  to MFG web site, then you can be out of luck.
  Is the controller a great name - Logitech Belkin/Razor, MS XBOX brand, etc.
  I'm not aware of controllers that will work on Win7 and does not work on XP.

  I wanted to report a strange situation that occurred to me. I am using Captivate 3 on Windows to create Flash movies, and I'm incorporating movies into Articulate as web objects.

  I've created a demo with three linked files. Let's call them FileA FileB and FileC. When ends in FileA, it calls FileB. When ends in FileB, it calls FileC.

  I noticed that when I set up FileA.cp to call FileB, it automatically converted the uppercase characters to lowercase, referring to the file as. I do not pay attention to what published related files work perfectly under Windows.

  However, when files have been published on Linux, FileA couldn't find FileB because he sought of fileb and Linux is case-sensitive. So I corrected it by renaming FileB and FileC to fileb filec respectively and re-released.

  CP was probably trying to save you from this issue.

  This is a known issue in the web development community that mixed case filenames are bad news for the exact reason that you discovered.  Don't bother but * NIX servers, IIS servers, and links can be broken as a result.  If most web developers get into the habit rather quickly just using lowercase file names since you never know where your content might end up and what will be the server technology.

  What you should have done, was to go with the names of files in lowercase that Captivate attempted to use.

  From what you wrote it would be interesting to check the permissions of NTFS from the virtual computer. You should check the files using the Explorer. Where is your computer virtual stored or saved? Have you moved?
