Utility Toshiba Hw & Windows 7

Hi, I recently installed windows 7 (own) on my toshiba a350-12d. Then I installed a bunch of stuff from toshiba, make fn buttons work, such as the added value package and something like that. The problem, now, is that I can't really install toshiba hw Setup utility, so I can't access the menu "usb sleep and fresh" and other stuff.

I tried to download [this: Gore http://it.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details_smp.jsp?service=IT&selCate = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 153 & selProduct = 820 lShortMod to = 791 & language = 24 & selOS = 29 & selType = all & rupload = Yes & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = allMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = 19 & selectedLanguage = 24 & type = all & page = 2 & part_number = null & product_id = null & ID = 69696 & DISO = 29 & driverLangu age = 42] but , after extraction of the files, the installation does not start.

I looked at the files on the upgrade of the toshiba dvd and there is a * toshiba hw Setup utility folder *, with four other subfolder with four different versions of the software. The only one I was able to install was v.3.0.1.0, but when I launch the utility and made a few changes, nothing happens. I mean, if I try to activate the sleep and charge, then apply and close the utility, if I come back to the right of the utility after... I found sleep and off load method.

It's pretty boring, maybe I'm missing something... don't know, [it's the value Pack currently installed on my laptop | Gore http://it.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details_smp.jsp?service=IT&selCate = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 153 & selProduct = 820 & lShortMod is = 791 & language = 24 & selOS = 29 & selType = all & rupload = Yes & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = allMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = 19 & selectedLanguage = 24 & type = all & page = 2 & part_number = null & product_id = null & ID = 69698 & DISO = 29 & driverLangu age =] [42] and here, he says that the hw configuration utility should appear, but that's not true, I don't see any hw in the control panel or the start menu configuration utility.

Any help? Thank you.

Great! Thanks a lot for this info!

  • Equium M40X: I get to the banner of Toshiba, but Windows does not start

When I start my 2 year old Toshiba Satellite M40X, I get to the banner of Toshiba, but Windows does not start. I tried using the recovery CD and it does not either.

Any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

    Hello

What do you mean with the banner of Toshiba? Did you mean the Toshiba splash screen that appears at the begging of the boot?

Equium M40X successfully passed this screen?

If the laptop is unable to switch to the home Toshiba screen then I presume that the BIOS has detected a hardware problem.
In this case primarily the motherboard fails

But if the laptop is able to spend the Toshiba start screen, the motherboard must be ok and only a 3rd device malfunction as HARD drive could cause this problem.

  • Toshiba 655 / windows 7 can run windows 10

655 Toshiba with windows 7 never be able to run windows 10.  The list on the website of Toshiba is not Satellite 655 as one that is capable of upgrade to Windows 10.  My question is this: that I can do for this laptop to be upgraded to Windows 10, or he will never be able to run Windows 10?  I expect updates on your part, Toshiba, other owners a L655 and other forums with an answer to my problem!  I saw anything regarding my problem.

I'm not someone who has the money to buy a new PC, and I don't like Windows 7.  But I read recently that you people will more or less force all the world to Win 10 and I did not speak of those of us who want to win 10, but own systems which are not compatible with it. I and others with the same question will be able to book a copy of Windows 10 once the year of free updates are passed?

I checked 10 Windows and it looks like a BONE I could if more time to check it out. However being a faithful disciple of Microsoft, I always choose Windows NT as my first pic and Windows 7 as my second choice. They are almost identical and are very user friendly for those of us with the technology background. Until I retired from teaching, I had the opportunity to have and use Windows NT as an advantage for having participated in a seminar of MS-DOS in the early 1990s. Once I found Windows 7 I was just as happy with it as I was with NT. There, because I hope you can help me with my problem and send me a reply to the e-mail.

Thank you for service and products that you have given the public has continued to progress in the world of technology.

Looking forward to your response and once again thank you for everything you do.

1st off there is a forum led by peers, you do not directly contact Microsoft in any form of official duties. The site can be read by anyone, including your personal information. The forum software can pick up and block email addresses but not your home address.

2nd it is down to the individual manufacturer if they will support their legacy hardware running the software update. Microsoft provides the pre version of the software to them, but in this case, it is entirely to Toshiba, if they want to support a particular device. That they would get no special recipe if it requires some investment is extremely likely. Perhaps that the system runs Windows 10 without additional drivers, but the original system specifications is very low. Forum Toshiba may have someone who has tried and you could experience yourself, just make sure you have backup an recovery options before you start.

  • Scanner Utility For Microsoft Windows will not uninstall

I am trying to install drivers for a new Fujitsu scanner.  The installation process gives me a message that I need to first uninstall the Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows.  I go to the control panel and go through the uninstall process, get an acknowledgement that it is uninstalled, but it's still there.

How can I get rid of him?

some things on the Internet immediately to protect me against the consequences of the break-in. I didn't know that the version of Windows is 64-bit, until I started to have problems with the scanner software.

It's very strange to not be able to uninstall the software does not work.

    Colin

The problem by uninstalling is in this case the software never have installed correctly in an incompatible operating system. At least some of the files and settings are not where they are supposed to be for uninstall work.

System restore would be the first resort in this situation. Odd that you had only 3 points of restoration. I assume that you checked the box to show other Points of restoration as well. With my current settings of SR there is about 16 points of restoration.

The last resort to undo the mess would be to backup your user files on DVD or an external drive and make recovery from a manufacturer of the system on your computer. That he would make an out-of-the-box state. Most computers have recovery disks, unless you use OEM provided utility to burn yourself. If your computer is all major OEM there will be a recovery on her partition. OEMs a method to retrieve their OS and system software without erasing your user files. You would still re - install all the programs that you added, but it may be a lot less painful to have to put everything back. This path you would still Fujitsu folders with files in them, but they'd be sure to delete at this time, because the system registry would be clean. Accessing recovery of the system in the start menu usually takes you straight into the destructive recovery mode (ie. reformatting the drive and just reinstall). It's a little more cautious to start the Windows recovery. There should be a recovery utility somewhere in a folder in your menu all programs that will give access to the less drastic ways of recovery (reinstall system only or reinstall drivers and programs).

When I opened my cell phone message shows that Windows detected a hard disk problem I use Toshiba laptop windows 7

    Hi Vimalpal,

To provide the proper resolution, I would need more information on your side.

    1. What is the number of the model of the laptop?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer before this problem?

    Method 1:
I suggest to run the troubleshooter and check if that helps.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

    Method 2:

I suggest you run the disk check and check if it helps.

    Check a drive for errors

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/check-a-drive-for-errors

Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

Hope this information helps. Answer the post with an up-to-date issue report to help you further.

  • What makes our small utility compatible with Windows 8?

    Hello

I'm the admin of a community site called rFactorcentral. To help support our site, we offer a service called the "1-click install" that allows users to easily install 'changes' or a simulator. This 1-click process requires a utility that was developed a few years before the release of Windows 8.

Unfortunately, it seems that this utility crashes in Windows 8, despite having tried everything. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make our usefulness to work within Windows 8.

The link to download the utility is:

    http://www.rFactorcentral.com/rfactorcentral_client/rfcclientsetup.exe

This utility would also suffer an accident similar to Windows 7 64 bit if this patch was missing:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=90548130-4468-4bbc-9673-D6ACABD5D13B

It also would crash on Windows XP or Vista if this patch was missing:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325fd-ae52-4e35-b531-508d977d32a6&displaylang=en

Based on these patches, does anyone have an idea if a similar patch is available for Windows 8?

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. After writing this, I go now to test the client may require a subscription, if anyone is interested to test this further, please send an email to support@rfactorcentral and we can arrange a username and password for you.

Thanks in advance for anyone to help.

    Kind regards

  • Recovery utility Toshiba NB200 and HARD drive

    Hello world
I recently bought this netbook from toshiba and after installation of windows for the first time and restarting the machine it says that the password is incorrect, so I can't enter the system... It may be due to a particular keyboard layout? It seems very unlikely to me that I made the same mistake twice when I inserted the password.

Anyway since I have nothing on my hard drive I want to reinstall windows, the problem is that I can't use recovery utility. I closed the computer, then I press '0' and I turn it on, but don't see the menu for HARD drive recovery.

What is a popular problem? Is it covered by the warranty? If you guys help me find a solution, I would be very grateful.

If you have laptop model use F8 after star-up to display the advanced startup options.
First option to fix my computer. Choose this option and follow the on screen menu - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

I just hope that you will be able to enter in the system recovery options.
