  If validation checkpoint do not take place and somehow before chkt INSTANCE failure occurs and data info is nt recorded in the control file, then my data are lost or not?

  If I remember correctly, there are * 14 * types of checkpoints which can happen. So no, it's not that there is only one type of it or there is only a single event that would trigger the DBWR to write the data in the data file. Yet, as you said that to engage, if the checkpoint has not happen (it won't engage, it is not necessary to set it off), oracle would be nice. Reason is, validation, LGWR all pending write again for the transaction log to roll forward and a flag to commit must be entered into the flow again for this transaction marking its end. In addition, the transactions table would be marked with the status that the transaction is complete and committed. Now, to the recovery of the instance, data would be collected and when this would happen, using the information in the table of the transcation, oracle would know what to do about the transaction once transmitted his rolls.   Regarding your checks of preinstallation of the original question, have look at GDR - health check / Validation Engine Guide (Doc ID 250262.1)

  There are sets of different rules for different OS that you can use to check if all the conditions are met before installing

  You can consult the mos note "R12.1.1: Installation of Oracle E-Business Suite and upgrade Lotus Notes version 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x 86 (Doc ID 761564.1)" and install the needed packages from your installation media (most of the packages are available on the installation media, oracle has provided a separate link for those not available)

  If yum does not properly check out this (you are on 32 I doubt there is one for 32-bit)

  It seems that you have not given your attributes of basic level and level superior public names. You can give them public names or disable version control.

  I have a search engine simple with two fields of research related to the parameters of the entity VO. Below, I have a table in the view with two editable text fields. In the component actions table, I put a buttons of commit and rollback.
  
  The buttons of commit / rollback do not enable until I have refresh the form after a change. I would like to use partial-page rendering to immediately change the buttons to the correct state after a change.
  
  I tried the PPR combinations and/or a listener valuechange, but do not know how to button controls update on edit.

  In 10.1.3 interface user id of the component in editable tables can be used declaratively to PPR something (since their id during execution is generated for each entry in the single table).

  You need a small piece of backup bean code to achieve this.

• Triggering Validation in a region through a contextual event

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.
  I'll try to find how to trigger the built in validation that occurs normally when occurs a 'submit' action, but have the submit action occur outside of a region, and the validation also occurs in the region itself.
  
  I have a page that contains a dynamic region in it. I will make reference to the page container as the parent and child of the region. The parent and child have all two objects different trades related to them, although they are part of the same module of the application. The parent page contains a submit button that needs to validate the data entered by the user in the parent and child pages. This action should not proceed if there are validation errors in the parent or child. Validation should trigger on the page parent without any work on me because of ADF's handling of the situation. The page of the child is informed of the action to submit via contextual events. I currently where this event can trigger the action of "committing" successfully, but I have no idea how to do to make sure that they cause so a validation control.
  
  Overall throughput I think happen in the final version is probably:
  1: introduce the button.
  2: validation of the parent page is checked (if success, go ahead)
  3: contextual event
  4: contextual event is received by the child.
  5: the child raises his own validation (if success, go ahead, otherwise stop)
  6: the child triggers a validation action
  7: the child sends a contextual response event (signaling he succeeded)
  8: the parent receives the contextual response event
  9: the parent performs an action to 'commit '.
  
  
  I don't know how to do step 5 to happen, and I don't know if steps 7 through 9 are needed again (I have not tested to see if the origin of the validation in the parent or the child will eventually cause all objects changed entity to commit). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello

  You can access a command button on the page fragment and its action event queue. For that access you a managed bean (range backingBean) that contains a handler for the command button and the event queue (so will perform validation as if the user has clicked on it. The command button can also be hidden on the fragment.

  We try to limit the status code from the power supply to the 0,1,2,3 only file.
  So I'm including a validation control - "Is in the range" and provide the max limit in the '3' and min as the type of data and '0' as 'integer '.
  
  But even if I provide the value of status as "3" code and try to run the task of reconciliation - it throw error:

  This can be done in two ways...

  Using Script to validate the After/Before you can write a script to check the zero balance...
  and if the balance is not equal to zero then you can push the workflow in the previous step so that the wrong data may not be exported.

  For the Validation controls:
  According to your requirement.
  In the validation rules, go to the rule
  And in the tab-> display section rule... type: assets - shares - responsibility

  Then test rule and tick display test... it will show the difference in value.

  Then run the audit report show amount to test the display in the value column

  I work with a transitional XHTML document.

  I read on another forum that it is not necessary to use & quot;. for quotation marks in regular html and it will validate without them. I pasted the text of am MS Word document with several quotes in there in a web page and it validated very well.

  However, when I type in the text between quotation marks in the box design of the Web page, Dreamweaver inserts him & quot; in the code, as if necessary.

  Yes, in order to have your page validate you would need to ensure that all the quotes are 'in HTML.  The problem is the copy and pasting which is the reason why the quotes are not changed to HTML.  Everyone sees them Dreamweaver is the characters.  It does not differentiate whether the pasted text is the text or code.  For this reason, it inserts only "in the code.  If validation is not necessary for your project 100%, but Word is not necessary I would say do not take into account validation unless it affects something on the page.

  My validation controls are very well until I have embed a flash document in dreamweaver cs3, and then it will come with a message

  We have a separate database for our portal repositories and metadata. I ran the SVU both in mode CLEANING and REPORT on our DEV environment without any problems.
  
  Is what I can't understand, if running the SVU in CLEANING mode change anything in the database metadata repository. All validation controls and cleanups that SVU is as far as I understand are in the database of the portal.
  
  My hypothesis is correct? Or is there anything on the metadata repository database that changes of the SVU?
