Value formatting in the guided Navigation

Hello

I was not able to find it on my own, so I thought I would ask the community.

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure the value formatting for an attribute in the guided Navigation?

In my case we have digital and long values, but because they are numbers or codes, a delimiter is not wanted for these values.

However, we do not want just the format of the values as strings to keep the formatting because it is also necessary to use a filter of the range on these values, which won't work on strings.

Someone at - it ideas around that?

Thank you!

Assuming you're talking about 3.0, and then on the guided Navigation pane, the value uses formatting configured for this attribute in the display manager.

See the next section of the User Guide for the Studio.

    Hi Andres,

    This looks like it. I also found this topic: Configure the behavior of guided Navigation to display basic attributes

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E37502_01/Studio.300/studio_users/TOC.htm#configuring%20The%20Guided%20Navigation%20behavior%20For%20Base%20VIEW%20attributes

    Because this topic is only for display of Base attributes (and not the attributes of the other points of view), this suggests that only groups of the Base view attributes can be added to the guided Navigation.

  • How to avoid the report for all values of roller running upward of guided navigation

    Hello

    Thanks in advance

    I have 3 reports on three different pages of a dashboard. (Set up a navigation guided on a column of each report). When I click on the value of the column of guided navigation lead me to report 2 for this particular value (is invited), similarly for 3 report also so far it works great.

    However when I go back to report 3 2 and 2-1, the reports are run for all the values for the value which has been adopted by the guided navigation of the previous report (on which I clicked to go to the next report of value) instead.

    Use the ' back ' button.

    Otherwise, history.back(-1) it will take you to the session previous search in Google to get the HTML code and place it in object HTML/text at the bottom of each page of dashboard

    which will restore the last session he values he's running not not all previous values

  • Using the same application with filters prompted by guided Navigation

    Hi gurus,

    I have a requirement in which I need to show a report only when it returns results.

    To do this, I put the request in a section and applied a guided navigation using the same request as a source of demand.

    Can I use the same query in the navigation guided as request to the source?

    In the application there are filters which are invited

    My question - > in demand of guided Navigation Source, what I have to do the filters that you are prompted, or what I need to make it equal to the variables of presentation, which are populated by dashboard guests.

    I also have one of the guest as a guest of multiple selection...

    Thank you
    Ashish

    Ashish,

    Yes, you can use the same request here.

    For the application, you can use "IsPrompted" if same column is used in the guest of another use variable presentation here which is populated from the dash prompt. Just, 'specific' selected value based shud report results.

  • All the choices - guided Navigation

    My problem is I want to show a graph when users click on my dashboard month guest (all the choices) and other graphic when users click on any month of this prompt (graph filter with this option). I think that to use a guided navigation creating two fake reports, but does not "all choices.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you very much!!!

    OK, let's go...

    Language has nothing to do with it.

    Make 2 fake reports:

    1 report for all the choices
    Column1-> for example, SOMETIMES. CALENDAR_YEAR or other (it is necessary to have a report)
    Column2-> case when LENGTH('@{pv_your_pres_var}') > 0 then 'Value' on the other end "all choices.
    put a filter on Column2 "all choices.

    2. report of the selected value
    Column1-> for example, SOMETIMES. CALENDAR_YEAR or other (it is necessary to have a report)
    Column2-> case when LENGTH('@{pv_your_pres_var}') > 0 then 'Value' on the other end "all choices.
    put a filter on Column2 'value '.

    Now put 2 sections on the dashboard page:
    Section 1-> see if Report1 return lines
    Section 2-> see if Report2 return lines

    Let me know this work.

    Kind regards

  • Error message - the value entered does not match the Format of the field

    I get an error message in Adobe Pro x: "the value entered does not match the format of the field [JF13].

    I have JF13 scheduled as follows:

    Calculate tab:

    If (Number (this.getField("ck4").value) > 0) this.getField("JF13").value = Number (this.getField("FL019").value); else this.getField("JF13").value = "";

    It is programmed in this way, so if the user checks the checkbox in front of the field, only then will JF13 fills a value, which pulls of FL019. I also value parameters 'number' because the data to display in the form of a dollar amount $xxx.xx.

    FL019 is a hidden field on the form which takes an amount of a central computer and its settings can also be programmed to 'Number':

    I get four popup windows with the above mentioned error message, and the only way to make the stop message is to remove the «number» field format. However, when this is done, if a number any ending in a zero is entered, it cuts the zero. This is not acceptable either.

    Is there some kind of script that I could add or otherwise to prevent the error message and the cutting out of the zero on JF13?

  • values - ve in the conditional formatting

    Hello

    With the help of obiee 11g.
    I have a column in my report which I want to show the values 2 diff colors, thus putting a conditional formatting but
    the problem are negative values to his not taking.
    Modification of this pass is as cast (tab.col as varchar2 (10)). ' %' as col1
    So, in the conditional format, I used col1 is less than or equal to-25 then Brown
    Col1 is greater than or equal to + 25 then yellow.

    For 25 + his appears in yellow corn - 25 not in Brown.

    Any help?

    Thank you

    Hello

    In col1, access the properties of the column-> Data Format-> Select 'replace the default data Format'-> "With numbers like" menu drop-down select "percentage".
    This will add a "%" symbol to the measure.

  • "The value entered does not Format of the field.

    If something similar has been posted, I apologize! I tried to look for it and has not been able to find the answer.

    I have a form to determine the potential savings, if a customer makes our products to a competing product. Our sales staff filling in many areas that allow us to determine the annual cost that the customer currently committed, as well as the potential annual costs associated with our product. At the bottom of the page, using a simple calculation JS, it determines annual dollar savings by changing brands.

    I would also like to include the annual savings as a percentage of current costs, but for some reason, I cannot get the script to work. The error message that appears indicates: "the value entered does not match the format of the field [annual percentage savings]."

    Now, the two fields referenced in my script are formatted in dollars, so I don't know if this makes a difference or not. My script is below.

    var f = this.getField("Potential_Annual_Savings_in_Dollars").value;
    var y = this.getField("Cost_Per_Year_Current").value;
    F.value = Event.Value / y.value;

    If (y.value < f.value) event.value = ";

    Given the percentage is not strictly necessary, but it adds to the form, so that any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Post edited by: MelissaZoller (format)

    I would use:

    var f = this.getField("Potential_Annual_Savings_in_Dollars").value;

    var y = this.getField("Cost_Per_Year_Current").value;

    If (y<= 0)="" event.value=''>

    else {}

    Event.Value = f / y;
    If (y< f)="" event.value=''>
    }

    In this way there is no division by zero or a negative number.

  • Custom values Format delimited by commas in the text as a bulleted list field?

    Hi all

    I have a text field in a Professional Acrobat 9.0 form, when the user enters a series of values separated by commas:

    A value of 1, the value 2, value 3...

    Is there a way to take these values and after the user has finished typing in the text field and deselected the text field, have the values to be displayed in a bulleted list, i.e.:

    < ul >

    < li > value 1 < /li >

    < li > value 2 < /li >

    < li > value 3 < /li >

    < /ul >

    I know it's pretty easy to do in other languages I know, but I do not know the JavaScript syntax. I guess I would need to put a script in the 'Script of custom Format"text field.

    Thank you!

    PS. In addition, it is important that when the user "re - selects" modifies the field to, who they see values as a string delimited by comma, instead of the updated list in shape. Just as the default behavior of a currency in the format of text... field when the user selects a currency field, Acrobat removes the dollar sign, etc., so that the user enters just the number without formatting and when they are done, Acrobat adds the name and commas, decimals, etc..

    You can do this by creating a script that launches after the new value is validated, and then you do the following (assume that the name of the field where you want the list is "txtfield"):

    MYLIST = "";
    myValue = event.value;
    mySplitValue = myValue.split(",");
    for (i = 0; i
    myList += ">"+ mySplitValue [i] + "\n"; '.
    }
    this.getField("txtfield").value = myList;

    (Note: this script is NOT tested)

  • SQL error: ORA-01840: value not long enough for the format of the date of entry

    It is a delete SQL in a driver of demand, which gives no error, but does remove all the lines either. I have converted the removal 'from' to ' Select * ' and may see the following error:

    Select * FROM PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40 WHERE EXISTS (SELECT FROM 'X'
    PS_GPDE_DV_ELIG_MO ELG WHERE ELG. EMPLID = PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40. EMPLID AND
    ELG. EMPL_RCD = PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40. EMPL_RCD AND TO_DATE (TO_CHAR (ELG. PRD_END_DT
    "YYYY"). TO_CHAR (ELG. PRD_END_DT, "MM"). '01', "YYYY-MM-DD") =.
    PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40. GPDE_DV_EVT_EFFDT AND ELG. CAL_RUN_ID = "CAL_0812")
    Error report:
    SQL error: ORA-01840: value not long enough for the format of the date of entry

    The interesting thing is that if I attach a condition of emplid, then the SQL above does not give an error and return lines:

    Select * FROM PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40 WHERE EXISTS (SELECT FROM 'X'
    PS_GPDE_DV_ELIG_MO ELG WHERE ELG. EMPLID = PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40. EMPLID AND
    ELG. EMPL_RCD = PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40. EMPL_RCD AND TO_DATE (TO_CHAR (ELG. PRD_END_DT
    "YYYY"). TO_CHAR (ELG. PRD_END_DT, "MM"). '01', "YYYY-MM-DD") =.
    PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40. GPDE_DV_EVT_EFFDT AND ELG. CAL_RUN_ID = "FM_CG_0812")
    and emplid = "1234"

    now, if the number of lines is identified (by giving more number of emplids), it begins to give the error when the number of rows returned is greater than about 30. It is completely independent of what employee is used, so there is no question of data dependence.

    I think it is question of data combined with a not very sensible date format mask (it could fail when the null data, because of your concatenation with '01' and work when not null data).
    Have you tried with a simple TRUNC?

    Your code:

    ...TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(ELG.PRD_END_DT, 'YYYY') || TO_CHAR(ELG.PRD_END_DT , 'MM') || '01' , 'YYYY-MM-DD') =PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40.GPDE_DV_EVT_EFFDT...

    After change:

    ...TRUNC(ELG.PRD_END_DT , 'MM') =PS_GPDE_DV_TRIG40.GPDE_DV_EVT_EFFDT...
