I work with a set of Pantone colors.
Why CMYK/RGB to Pantone in Illustrator CC values match the values given in the book of most Pantone color bridge?

I understand the other threads that the game of RGB values is predetermined by society and not be replaced by something that (same Pantone).
In addition, when you have the color of a Pantone ink and need to replace it with a set of CMYK or RGB values, it will always out one way or another. And if you need to combine several colors of replacement, they may well be out of different ways with the conversions provided by Pantone, which mean that they are inferior to the Pantone inks as necessary. Something similar may apply to cases with combinations of colors of substituted Pantone ink and CMYK/RGB of origin.
Thus, at least in some cases it may be a better choice of retraining provided by Pantone CMYK/RGB values.
In other words: who said that you agree, or should agree with the transformation (latest version) provided by Pantone in each case?
It may be interesting to note that Pantone themselves have changed their minds about the best conversions more than once.

PANTONE CMYK failures different Pantone Color Bridge
I wanted to know why the distribution of the color that Indesign gives a Pantone Spot color is different from the one specified in Pantone Color Bridge Book. Also, the color on the screen that Pantone Color Bridge breakdowns show seems more precise than those specified by Indesign.

If I remember correctly, InDesign´s Pantone Solid CMYK conversion is the conversion table-based us SWOP. Bridge is based on the European color conversion table, probably a standardized ISO profile. That s why I always use CMYK values taken from the booklet of the bridge of the Euro, I never let Indesign convert spot Pantone Solid to CMYK color by changing the color of spot in the process type.

Pantone swatches + Color Bridge come to overview of separation and export to PDF (InDesign)

Export the PDF to print business cards, showed that colors Pantone Color Bridge are not pantone colors. Only CMYK appears.
The colors are not displayed in overview of separation:
Pantone Solid colors are.
Reinstall of Pantone Color Manager and exporting to InDesign didn't work.
Is anyone familiar with this problem? Adobe's Support team could not solve the problem jet.
Can I change the settings?
PANTONE says: "the PANTONE COLOR BRIDGE libraries are fully supported in PANTONE color Manager and must be exported in CMYK, s because these libraries are the CMYK simulations for the colors solid PANTONE; in physical PANTONE COLOR BRIDGE guides are the colors on the right side. »

Color Bridge books are specifically developed after the conversions to CMYK (for an unknown color space) of libraries spots. If you want to spot colors, you must use one of the Pantone Solid libraries (i.e. Pantone + Solid Coated).

PANTONE Color Bridge vs Photoshop

I'm curious why my Pantone Color Bridge gives me different information than Photoshop CS4 for the SPM 549. I am creating a style guide for a client of mine and he prayed the spot, process, RGB HTML color codes.
PANTONE Color Bridge says:

Photoshop says:
PMS 549C

65/26/26/1 seems much closer on the screen (I know, I know...) Is anyone know why the anomaly?
A little quick test shows that your Photoshop for CMYK setting is USWebCoatedSWOPv2 - a very good moderate profile.
The construction of the bridge of color uses a very heavy black generation - probably an approach lowest common denominator Pantone uses to provide more consistent color in the face of the inevitable press derive in most certainly unknown press conditions. A roll of the dice.
The actual color that comes off a press of a given generation of CMYK depends very much on the conditions of paper and press.
Tread lightly here when recommending a CMYK build to your customer. Include GREAT opposition.

What is the difference between the PANTONE and spot colors
I need help understanding a concept. In Illustrator, when I double click a nuance I get shade options. In this example, let's say it's one of the default witnesses. When I change the type of color in "Tones" and click OK, I've created a spot color, Yes? Nuance now has the white border with the triangle in the corner indicating. When I send to a printer they tell me that they need a pantone. I was under the impression that a printer would ink custom of my place and that would be printed as a color. Isn't this true? If spot colors must be Pantone, why the color type drop-down open PANTONE books?
Can someone please explain what a spot color in Illustrator?

You cannot arbitrarily mix most of the inks in the real world, and so any custom mix formula is mostly meaningless. It is largely the point here.
(a) it is much easier for main stores order just the premixed colors
(b) if they mix custom colors, they still need to use specific base inks which are not only CMYK, since there is no way to obtain certain colors in other
(c) only using correct formulae can ensure the appropriate density / saturation / brightness
(d) you need to check against a reference color book / strip
(e) simple chemical and physical factors prevent some mixes of color work
This might be explained away constantly, but suffice it to say that, in all my years, I have not met a single printing could have mixed colors custom outside Pantone or here in Germany HKS and other systems. Not to say that it is impossible for some colors, but nobody does anymore.

PANTONE + does not match the previous Pantone spot color chart. I have several customers who are using spot colors in logos etc and now these colors are a mess. Can I get and use the old color for Illustrator books?
Well, the spot color has not changed, but the way they were simulated four-color changed, they now use color management to get to the nearest ink possible task.

Libraries are the same? The two RGB colors are different and they have different look on the screen.
None of this has to do if you are not working with color management and conversion of spot color to a CMYK process color, which seems to be the case here...

Total of fields and to change the font for values 0 color
Hi, I'm relatively new to scripting, and I have created a form that is used both as a PDF to fill and print. It's a decklist and I want to be able to total the fields for each specific type of map to display the toal in another area, and then add those fields for a total of bridge. I can easily accomplish this depending on the sum in Acrobat X using the but when printing the list empty to be used by players at an event the zeros print in total fields and confuses the younger players.
I would use a calculation script custom that totals fields and checks the total and also if it's zero changes the color of the font to white.
Any help would be appreciated.

Might as well try. Make a restore point first just in case things go wrong. Dispcalgui apparently works best however.

Measurement of the values of color
I want to know how many pixels there is a specific shade of gray, or rather, all shades of gray, in a grayscale image. Basically, I want a histogram, but I want in the form of a graph. As far as I know the only way to see how it is a certain shade must scroll on the crest of the shadow in the histogram. Is it possible to turn those numbers into a graph? Or any other ideas to quantify and to record the amount of pixels of each value in a color picture?

Alternation of ordered by value line color

I created a report commissioned by the COUNTRY column. Then I added a hidden column called COLOR with a value of switching between "#FFFFFF" and "#F0F0F0" every time that we have another country in the report.
Now I want the background color of each row so that the value of the COLOR column of the den.
How can I achieve this? Do I need dynamic action?
