VBR and cbr

Hi guys, how can I get my settings to use variable bit rate 2 pass for sorenson spark setting? It seems that let me use the 2 pass VBR for on2 vp6?

There is a lot of information about the On2 VP6 and Sorenson Spark codecs in the documents linked to thispage.

The answer is very simple, is that On2 VP6 is a better choice, unless you are concerned about people with a very old version of Flash Player is able to read the files.

On2 VP6 and Sorenson Spark are used in the FLV files. It is the earlier form of the Flash video. The new form is F4V, and uses the H.264 codec - which is much better, unless you need to encode an alpha channel. Yet once, there are details in the document I linked above.

  • Export failed to achieve the required bit rate and colour care space - ProRes 422 in MPEG2

With the help of first Pro CC v7 I exported a ProRes 422 (HQ) MPEG2 file and selected the HD 1080 p 23.976 preset.  I needed the finished file to have a minimum of 50Mbps flow and the color space to be YUV422.  I was under the minimum flow rate and the color space is incorrect. Can someone please instruct me on how to get my desired results. Thank you!

MXF OP1a XDCAM options are hard wired for the correct settings for each preset - in the case of 422 @ 50 mbit, it already uses a preset CBR (constant bit rate).  The main codec Concept always Compress contents, so it is quite possible that your source material will eventually take less space than 50 Mbps, depending on the complexity of the images.  There is nothing to replace it, you can change, it's just the codec do its thing.

I don't see how the color space was incorrect, unless you take what you think that you have chosen.  Make sure you're one of the presets that has 50 in the name, picking, and other (18/35) VBR and space colorimetric 420.   You can check the presets under the video tab - if you have a 50 mbit preset selected, the video codec should list something like "XDCAM HD 50 NTSC (4:2:2)".

  • Target and maximum bit rate...

Not finding much info on target and Maximum bitrate that is under video settings during export > Media.

At the highest quality, my camcorder records to about 24 Mbps.

I export to Youtube. I know that all of the settings to use.

I wonder if I should choose the bitrate at which it was recorded, for my target and maximum.

I am aware that higher the value, the larger the file is large.

    What are your thoughts?

On another note. My HD camcorder JVC GZ-HM300, manual stipulates that all class 4 or higher SDHC card will work.

I see some of the higher ranked cards higher bit rate transfer.

Do I need to get at least a transfer rate of 24 Mbit/sec SDHC to get all the benefits of the record of 24 Mbps bit depth.

Because I have got a standard 16GB class 4 Kodak SDHC for $20 Meijer's, here in Michigan (Meijer is pretty much just like Wal-Mart)

    http://www.Meijer.com/s/Kodak-16GB-class-2-SDHC-memory-card/_/R-187776

Said description class 2, but he of the symbol of class 4 and works with my camcorder.

    What are your thoughts?

A larger file or a less compressed file or a file with high throughput (those that are functionally equivalent) does not necessarily mean a more beautiful once downloaded video. In practice, a video that has the best eyesight will be better once YouTube through the ringer. My additions in 1080 p YouTube typically hover in the range of 10-12 Mbps, but they tend to be low movement videos, so they provide a compression well. If you have an animated video, it may be necessary to crank the bitrate up to what you keep most or at least more of the fidelity of the image. However, you will get to a point where you will just make an unnecessarily large file, with no perceptible difference as soon as YouTube do its dance on your video. I would guess that 25Mbps is unnecessarily high; the recommendation to use 15Mbps or thereabouts is probably sufficient. Test is the only way to know, as there are has no strict rules when it comes to video coding - and YouTube accepts all the accepted general practice and pouring them on their head.

Re: target and the maximum flow: these come into play when using coders who use encoding variable bit rate (VBR). Rate target - as its name suggests - is the rate you want the encoder to pull to and use as an average relative. Flow binary maximum - no points for guessing - is the largest flow you'll let the encoder use in segments (usually in divisions called GOP or groups of images) where there is movement or a visual complexity (very detailed models, or fog, for example). If the encoder were to run full tilt boogie, the maximum bit rate would determine the size of the file; It is roughly equivalent to the use of the CBR or constant bit rate encoding. However, because you have selected a target bit rate (in general, a minimum below the maximum bit rate), the encoder will try to maintain this bitrate or lower throughout the video. For example, my 1080 h.264 encode for YouTube usually have a maximum rate of 15Mbps all about, but I put the target at 10 Mbps or less. Using 2-pass VBR, and given the nature of the videos I encode more often, my files usually average around 6 Mbps. That's what I have to deal with each separate code as its own entity - you can apply some principles, but in practice, anything goes.

These Wikipedia articles could offer interesting ideas in different encoding, at least from a perspective of bitrate methods:

    Variable flow

    Constant flow

    Average throughput

  • Broadband and used machines

    Hello

I have not found this information within the manual yet or the FAQ here... So it's an ir just order question whether I can work safety this way...

Suppose I have a 20-minute video and need to burn it to a DVD. When you export in MPEG-2 (for the first, or even still with Adobe Dynamic Link), in order to get the maximum quality that I can, I said almost the maximum bit rate... 2-Pass VBR and Minimum = 8, target = 8,5 and Maximum = 9.

This will get one more big, but even think that it is only 20 minutes, it will get inside the 4.7 GB of DVD without problem.

    ---

Suppose also, I thought even, but now for Blu - Ray (with almost the largest value of bitrate).

    The question is:

This video will be an incompatibility with older devices? Older readers DVD or older versions of the Blu - Ray player?

Or is not a problem for any device? Any device can interpret and work with higher rates?

    Thank you very much

    Gustavo.

For older dvd players do not grow the bitrate, 8 is more then enough, also make sure you use a good brand of discs and burn at half speed.

90 minutes of timeline will fit very well on dvd.

  • Final export too big file size, I have to use H.265 (HEVC) instead of H.264?

I export a project to a DVD and with the planned size H.264 is more than 9 GB, too big even for double layer DVD because they can only fit around 8 GB. Should I export with H.265 instead of H.264? the size of the file planned for H.265 is 7 GB.

Try 4.2 data rate, using 2-Pass VBR and the min and max value too, so maybe 2-4.2 - 7

As a result of DVD - HQ: Bitrate & GOP calculator using Encore 192 k audio by default

Remember that quality is not very good at this length, unless you use a double-layer disc, then you could go 7 CBR for the quality. From a HD source? Checkbox for 'Max rendering quality' for the best scaling.

    Thank you

  • Do you know how to solve the reason why I can't export my file into a MP3 file successfully? Why the MP3 file will not play after that I exported?

Do you know why a file I exported using Adobe Audition doesn't play like a MP3 player?

Well, to give a detailed response, we will have to a lot more on exactly how you did your export MP3 and where it will not play.

However, a quick generic conjecture is that the hearing can make MP3 bit rate Constant (CBR) and bit rate Variable (VBR), as well as a wide range of bit rates.  (All of this is implemented on the screen POPS when you save in MP3 format).  Some MP3 players get picky with the files VBR and others do not like the low rate files then you better check these settings on your export.

  • Video / Audio Out of Sync - export

    Greetings,

I read in these forums for over a week now and I can't seem to fix my problem, so I decided to try something myself.
    My question is this:

-After creating a sequence and exporting in x 264 format, which corresponds to of the source medium (CBR, codec is not serious, he tried with several), it seems that my sound and/or video is desyncing.

I export in CBR while there should be no fluctuation of flow, but it seems that when the video is still standing for a while, say a loading screen, it gets shortened considerably and so the video runs in front of the audio.

This effect occurs not matter what I do. I tried a clean install, remove scratch files, clear the cache of media, etc.
The problem does NOT occur on Sony Vegas or even Windows Movie Maker.

It seems as if support screens still just gets their duration reduced, which doesn't make much sense.
Since I am absolutely ideas on what could cause this, I hope you guys can help me.

    Concerning

    EDIT:
Just to clarify the problem, the video runs faster than the audio. No matter if CBR or VBR, same as FPS source.

An absolutely horrible solution to this problem.
I leave Handbrake handle the file to convert the VBR to CBR (because the handbrake is great), so I can import without any problem in Adobe Premiere without the video running too fast.

I used most of the default settings for bluray h.264, audio PCM the auto value parameters. I changed it to Dolby,

I think the video file has been auto 29.97 the default value, which is the highest. I left it there.

Maybe I put the video 'p' and the 29.97, that doesn't look like not to it's standard blu ray settings. 29.97 only available in '' i ''?

I will try to match the wiki the link settings.

What resolution/frame rate do you have used / use with success?

You can do 1080 p 29.97 or 30. 1080 p will not be 23.976/24. If you want 29.97, it MUST be 'I' so just follow what are the legal video specifications, depends on the size of YOUR source footage, determine what you think the best choice for your delivery to be film.

as much as I, I usually stay on 1080i60 1 pass, sometimes 720p59.94 1-pass, but I did it only once. or for my super long SD disks (where I cram as 12 hours of footage on a disk) 480i29.97 I pass. (it annoys me REALLY, for the blu - ray it abolished 480 p, but its legal on DVD. huh?)

First of all, compliments on a well-documented problem.

First thing to do is to update your video drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_197.45_whql.html

Then you pull interlaced. Unless you intentionally want to throw away half of your vertical resolution, do not export as progressive. Keep it interlaced. And MPEG2-DVD is LFF, not UFF.

Your project settings should be PAL DV Widescreen 48 KHz for the capture of material by the motorway A1 / DSR-11.

Your SOUL export settings should be MPEG2-DVD PAL screen wide high quality (not progressive, as you have done so, according to the G-Spot News).

Depending on the length of your timeline, choose bitrates, as indicated by the Bitrate of DVD - HQ & GOP calculator

You use preferably Dolby Digital for audio, it will give you better video quality on long maturities.

You misunderstand you Q1: hardware codec Source? Because it looks like your output material.

Your screenshot in Q14 seems to have overexposed, blown highlights (the sky). Check and if, indeed, this is the case use the corrector of luminance and brightness levels to correct this.

    I hope this helps.

    Hey guys!

For some reason, I am not able to encode my video on the desired 12 Mbps bitrate.  Instead, Adobe first Pro CS4 wants to encode my videos at the default speed of 34.98 Mbps.  Is this a common problem or I do something wrong?  Here are the screenshots of my encoding settings:

Try switching to the CBR to set your bit rate, then return to the VBR and

define the same bitrate.  The settings should stick after that.

  • Segments distorted in a few songs during extraction of music from a CD

I met an occasional problem of distortion in the (Lossless) .m4a, .mp3 (VBR), and encoded .wav files. I first noticed this problem using iTunes on my computer Windows 7 Professional/HP Elite HPE. Distortion occurs towards the end of the file and is the same for files using Windows Media Player and the same song ripped off on a netbook Acer Win 7 Starter Ed running. The CD plays normally (without distortion) on the same computers. I redid "Nights in White Satin" several times and recorded the distortion happens in the same places (for three types of files) every time. I tore the same track on an old laptop (Toshiba 2003 5105 - S501 / Windows XP with an earlier version of iTunes). The track was taken from all types of files without distortion. The same set of files without distortion on the newest computer without distortion (I played all the files using iTunes and win.) (Media Player). The common denominator for the distortion of file is either a malfunction in Windows 7, an inherent problem with Intel processors (HP has an i5 quad processor/Acer netbook has of an Atom), or a problem with the motherboard (I don't know who did one of them). There were only a few other tracks which record with distortion and everything I found (I didn't listen all tracks completely) have been torn without distortion. As the distortion is exactly the same thing, in exactly the same segments, could also be coding algorithms, which may have been changed (but I'm just guessing). I don't think that there is an easy solution, but a value of reporting for the different parts. I would be happy to submit the actual files (good and bad) for you, if you wish.

    Sandeep V.

Thank you. It worked. What I've done so far is:

1 uninstalled old version of Easy CD Creator (Roxio) v.6 and restarted the computer. He did nothing to help.

    2. uninstall Media Player (and rebooted), then repaired iTunes (and restarted).

3 ripped the song of problem in 3 different formats all were clean, without ANY problem.

I have not yet reinstalled Media Player. So, thank you for the help. I guess it's a corrupt (or files) that are now in good condition.

  • To the question of the EFI BIOS

I created a windows 8.1 comments in 10 workstation. I want to copy this on my 5.5 ESXi host and start as EFI. Is this possible?

    Hi resources genetic organization!

It sounds like your guest OS installation has been done with the BIOS.  It is generally not possible to change the type of firmware after an operating system is installed.

Operating system setup uses the type of firmware to choose a plan (MBR for BIOS) or GPT for EFI disk partitioning and install a bootloader for firmware (code 16-bit MBR/VBR and a bootloader for BIOS, a bootloader EFI architecture in the EFI for EFI System Partition).  Types of switching software will usually make the operating system unbootable until it is reinstalled with the appropriate firmware type.  I have not tried it myself, but I doubt that any repair the startup or recovery option would be able to correct the situation after a firmware change.

It should be noted that 10 Workstation does not officially support the EFI firmware, but it would be possible to use the EFI firmware (just add firmware = "efi" configuration of the VM before it turn) to perform the initial installation of the operating system on 10 Workstation, then you should be able to transfer it to ESXi by following the instructions provided by the AFA above.

    See you soon,.

It is a problem with the library of encoder H.264 reported by several others since the last update, no idea what is the cause, but you may have better luck on 1-pass VBR or CBR.

If all else fails, your first sequence to export high-quality format (e.g.. ProRes) then use the standalone Media Encoder to convert to H.264 - which seems to work OK.
