  You cannot rearrange the order of a photo in your area of photos all because it is sorted by default of which photo came them last.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite P500 and had to replace the HARD drive after it was abandoned by the son.
  I do not have the recovery disk so I loaded Win 7 image on USB.

  Downstairs, I loaded all drivers but have been thwarted by a number of things.
  The webcam seems to be impossible to run despite trying every difficulty that I could find online and some unknown devices in Device Manager.

  The Toshiba site lists several audio, display and wgich wireless cards, it is difficult to know the correct driver to install.

  Hi Ganapathi,

  have you disabled the 'Error' indicator on the folder you want to import before clicking on "validate". You will find it under the 'Status' tab where you clear the box check and save before you try to validate or simply import!

• Correct order

  I'm trying to correct an order.

  I tried to buy the perpetual license for Acrobat Professional DC as an upgrade to Acrobat Professional 9. After the treatment, I realized that this version was not eligible for an upgrade. I called sales and bought, instead, the subscription of cloud. The consignee (who works on commission) has offered to transfer me to customer service. I thought I would save time by buying subscription first and then get transferred.

  Membership went through, but not the transfer of accounting or who is responsible. So I went on the chat forum, provided two order numbers (although that application is not retained in the cat - lesson learned for the future dialog box). The chat rep said it would take 2 or 3 days, because the command I want to cancel was still being processed.

  2 or 3 days later (yesterday), I received a message that the cloud subscription has been canceled, not the perpetual license.

  The chat window refers me to the forums. I'd like some advice on the best way to proceed:

  (1) simply to have the credit card company cancel the perpetual purchase and re - activate the subscription of cloud (via a link sent in an email).

  (2) try to contact Adobe again and hope he succeeds this time.

  Option 2 is much less reliable and more long and painful. However, I would like to make sure the sales representative phone friendly staff who helped me with the purchase of subscription to maintain his commission.

• Multi-disc Album track order

  Hi all

  I searched for my question but it's impossible to find anything about this either so forgive me if I am redundant. When I add a multi-disc album to my music in iTunes on my desktop, it adds it as disk 1, disk 2, etc. and played in that order.

  

  However if I go to the same album in the android app all songs are sorted by track # and will play in this order

  1 - disc 1, section 1

  2 - disc 2, section 1

  3 - disc 1, track 2

  4 - disc 2, section 2

  

  .. and so on. This seems like a stupid way to do things. Am I missing something? Thank you!

  Ditto on this issue. It's a big problem that should really be addressed in the next version.

  And a solution to this problem would correct the multi-disc albums that are already downloaded to Apple music on the SD card in the phone? Since I already have > 100 of those on my phone, I hope that the Android patch would correct the order of songs without having to re - download to each album.

  I read about the problems, the Clip has in getting the correct reading order, for example here, but I can't seem to make it work. Audiobook mp3s are labeled with ID3v1.1, ID3v2.3. I tried to use Mp3tag to set the ID3v2.3 to ISO-8859-1. All files have the same name of Album, athletics # a value XXX/YYY (ex: 001/145) for ID3v2.3 and 1, 2, 3... 145 for ID3v1.1. Title tags are on 'Track 001', «track 002"...»

  I can't understand why the files do not play in order...    Anyone have any ideas?  (except using playlist, because I won't be forced using that)

  Does anyone have any idea on when this new version of the firmware (which is supposed to solve these problems) is to come?  Someone wrote a few weeks it would probably come out in a few weeks ago...

  P.S. If Sandisk won't spend enough money to keep the amount of programmers needed to produce firmware quickly and efficiently, perhaps Sandisk should consider assisting people to Rockbox on so that users with higher applications can use their software instead. I understand that Sandisk is not a) distribute detailed information on everything about their players and b) vouch for the security/stability of Rockbox. But it doesn't have to be a problem. SanDisk could leave small fractions of the information (which is necessary for Rockbox crew clear some obstacles) and Sandisk could also say that 'we cannot guarantee that any other firmware that ours will work with our players and if you use a different firmware, for example Rockbox Sandisk warranty sucks." It's all good - as long as those of us who have demands more high on firmware get a solution that responds to that!  I think of things like the id3 support to reading to work order and the ability to adjust different parameters, for example the speed of the titles of the songs that are too wide for display.

  After countless hours of research and testing, I now realized in the order in which the Clip plays the tracks when using firmware 02.01.16 (I really hope a new firmware that corrects these problems is available soon, as promised).

  As has been set out in the thread I linked at the earliest:

  When no id3v2 tag is present, the titles are sorted by sequence numbers rightmost in the name of the file.

  However, I used id3v2.3 tag to ISO, as is the recommended version that the firmware currently supports a little OK. The problem I had, however, was that I used numbers track such as "001/145" and not only "001". Now, according to id3.org, using a character ' / ' followed by a string of numbers to indicate the size of the entire securities is valid standard id3v2.3 - but obviously the Clip doesn't respect that. I hope that this is also fixed with the next version of the firmware.

  P.S., Why should I do research/test so to find something as simple as that? Where is the complete guide, published by Sandisk, which covers these things? Here again, questions such as these id3 problems should have be fixed early on (making the chapter in the guide on relatively short tracks sorting).

  P.P.S. I was serious about the suggestion of Rockbox: thinking outside the box! Provide assistance to the crew of Rockbox, without revealing a lot of sensitive information (trade secrets), and without having to officially support Rockbox should be possible - and that would be actually a selling point to many users who want to buy a mp3 player which allows more freedom of choice. Dare to be different!

  Brand-newbie to your Forum and the development for the Playbook.

  Developed software and Web, mainly as a hobby for about 15 years and more. A number of associates
  and friends have Playbooks now, so I think trying my hand to redevelop some of my
  old software for the platform of the Playbook. I plan to just using WebWorks for now.

  What I would appreciate, is some clarification as to the order of installation of the tools.
  I have already installed ripple chrome just to get a peek at a few examples.
  The ' tools' section to WebWorks watch ripple as the first installation, but I do know that I read somewhere
  in the Forum that WebWorks should be installed "before" ripple. And if the ripple is already installed.
  It must be uninstalled before installing WebWorks because of potential conflicts.

  So is this the correct installation order?

  (Installation on Win 7 64-bit.)

  1. install the SDK WebWorks
  2. install VMWare Player
  3. install the ripple

  I also remember reading a thread where some mentioned problems of compatibility with the 64-bit version of Java.
  This box is running Java 7.0.90 - 64 bit.

  And finally, for the moment at least, what additional script libraries are the "must have".

• Why is-tab order incorrect in the browser but OK in Acrobat and Adobe Reader?

  I created a form to fill out and set the tab order to online.  It works correctly in Acrobat and Adobe Reader, but when I download on my site, all browsers use a different tab order.  I set the language than English.  Sort of behavior RTL in the browser, it is also somewhat randomly.  I have created several forms in the past and never had this happen before.  This form was started as a Word document that I used the import form creator.  Any ideas on how to force it to use the correct tab order?  Thank you.

  Many browsers (almost all) use their own internal PDF plugin by default. These plugins are known to have many bugs, and it's probably just another. Report the problem to the manufacturers of this plugin.

• Synchronization of a custom sort order Mobile on desktop?

  I did extensive research on this, and that it is always possible to miss something, I can't find anything specific about knowledge if a custom from mobile sort order can be synchronized to the source office collection. Does anyone have experience with this, or a pointer to some clarifying Info? Synchronize my changes per image, so I know communication happening. I don't know if there is a hidden menu item or a checkbox of some sort that I'm missing. The mobile and desktop are in mode 'command. Maybe it's a one-way street?

• Slideshow - music in working order

  I created a slide show of 10 minutes that will appear to a client at the beginning of next week. The slideshow contains three pieces of music (MP3) that add to the presentation and are contained in a separate file. Now LR2.3 has no problems to play the slideshow, but regarding music in working order, it seems to have a mind of its own - nothing new there, I hear. I tried to rearrange the music titles in the folder, but it seems to make no difference in how LR chooses the order. Does anyone know how LR chooses the order? It is by file size, by alphabetical order or according to an LR like the best? Me really confused of it.

  The order is alpha numeric.

  To correct an order changing the name to register 01, 02, 03, in the names.

  Since the upgrade to 38.1.0, I am no longer able to sort by "received the order. I chose it, but either an index is corrupted or something is broken as is not the correct sort order. Sort by date works, but I don't like this option as spam with fake dates deviated at the front of the list.

  I just had a discussion with another user with the same problem. He was able to work around the problem by using "Received" instead of "Order received" to the sort variable. This will take care of spam with false dates.

  When the use of Roman numerals (upper and lower), the largest number that a user will see as a Roman numeral is 3999. I think that it is because the number of 4000 in Roman numerals include a highlight. For those who might have really long ordered lists using Roman numerals, once your 4000 hits list, will be end Roman numerals and Arabic numerals will be either (the numbers we use today).

  I don't see a way to format the text in this post to show an example of the highlighting.

  I'm not enough common sense to go diving in the Firefox code to make Roman numerals above show 3999 correctly in ordered lists, but someone else might.

  Hello

  I have an imac 27 "late 2009 with 16 GB of RAM which is constantly freezing. Later, I'll try to explain all the things I tried before this announcement:

  • Start the computer, everything goes well and after a few minutes, the imac freezes: I can see the screen and move the mouse but the iMac does not. I stop and restart
  • The two phases of boot, it only works the first: I see the Apple logo and progress bar until it reaches about half, disappears a moment, and instead of progress, it displays white screen.
  • The next day begins, but after a few minutes, it does the same thing.
  1. 1st attempt: reinstall the operating system with recovery
     Choose the drive Macintosh HD and formatting
     Computer is connected to an average installation
     I turn it off, turn on, and complete the installation, but fails again once the operating system is running
  2. 2nd attempt: check the RAM
     Burn a CD memtest, alt to start, choose CD and passes the test properly without crashing
     Reset and the same average progress of white screen fault bar
  3. 3rd attempt: resets
     Reset the SMC, no load
     Reset the NVRAM, no-load
     Boot in safe mode (the carillon and then capitalized) and start correctly
     Reboot in normal mode and will not start

  When I reset the SMC, instead of the white screen after flash in the middle of the progress bar, the apple logo reappears and the progress bar stays frozen

  I read a lot of other posts and it seems that you need the journal of EtreCheck. I ran this tool twice (no problem - simply check and Apps are broken) since none of the profiles corresponding to my problem. Note that I had to run in safe mode because I'm not able to start normally. I don't know if this is a problem.

• Firefox allows the printing of files PROTECTED on my server. WHY?

  All other browsers RESPECT the fact that a PDF is password protected and does NOT allow this file to be printed. Fire Fox violates this rule, and let's users simply of pass protection and print the files. It really SUCKS! He should fix it to conform to current practices. Is this corrected?

  WON'T. I speak NOT of the IMAGE being copied from a screen. This, of course, can be done by anyone. What I'm talking about you, is that FIREFOX, unlike all other browsers, ALLOWS you to print a PROTECTED PDF FILE complete. This should NOT be and this issue should NOT be closed and just brushed side because Mozilla has a MAJOR BUG in their software. Your program should be corrected in order to RESPECT the protection of a file and NOT allow it to be printed in its ENTIRETY.
