• Is there a product that can extract DOORS requirements to TestStand so that they do not have to be entered twice?

  Export requirements of DOORS in TestStand and don't allow no changes in condition of TestStand.  All editing must be done in the DOORS and then exported in TestStand.  Is there an application that can bind the two together to respond to this request?

  As already mentioned, there is no tool available that does what you want. The reason is, that manage the requirements with DOORS has an interface standardized, but the description for each test is customized, transition to test description-> test procedure is always personalized as well.

  However, you can create such a tool (or leave some partners to develop a).

  I have to be honest with you: creation of these tools requires good knowledge of the DOORS (or NEITHER requirement Gateway if you use it to extract requirements), TestStand API and a programming language. I suggest the following procedure:

  1 extract the requirements for DOORS (e.g. using NIRG) and create a description of file based to needs. I would use XML.

  2. create a translator of TestStand sequence file. This loads the XML of your temporary file and creates a Sequencefile TS.   I don't think that there is no difference in the feature set; It's just that without SSE2 performance suffers.

  Others who are coming across this thread would know that SSE2 was introduced by Intel with the Pentium 4 in 2001. AMD said first it in 2003. The latest version of Windows does not work even without him.

• Thunderbird has deleted my messages "deleted" instead of put them in a folder

  I use Thunderbird in IMAP on a laptop running Vista. Recently, I used several Thunderbird on a laptop under XP. He doesn't have a problem - I've done it before. However, when I went back to my original Vista laptop, I found that I was now two folders called "deleted", but when I deleted a message from my Inbox it will not be sent to one of them. I then tried to remove the most recent 'deleted' folder but found that instead, I had deleted the original! It is annoying because it was full of messages that I would normally leave for 30 days.

  Still, my deleted messages are not sent to any folder. If I try to select another folder that "deleted", it does not send them there no more.

  How can I return to the status quo? And is it possible to recover the original "deleted" folder and make sure that I have remove the last?

  My guess is that Thunderbird on the computer created XP file "deleted" you see on the Vista computer, more specifically, what IMAP has created. When you opened the TB on the machine Vista IMAP updated TB to reflect changes made on the XP machine. IMAP will not let you delete the folder because it is linked to TB of XP. And as you discovered one created with Vista deleted without problem. One of your computers is acting as "Administrator", or primary. The other is a client of all kinds. When you set up IMAP from your computer the software makes a few assumptions. One computer (Vista) is the principal. Then you have the other computer system related. You have synchronized upward with the Vista machine. Insofar as the "Deleted" message goes, it's possible there are two. A he stayed right where he is and two that he disappeared. • Firefox opens, and neither does Profile Manager

  So yesterday some site to search Google (Kilauea photos search string) done something wacky, and now Firefox 4.0.1 will not start. Safe mode does not start. Profile Manager does not either. Uninstalling Firefox, by removing the Firefox of Program files, running a registry cleaner to clean the remnants of Firefox, running a full MS Security Essentials scan who find Trojans villain, and then reinstalling Firefox works only for the initial session. A replay of Security Essentials and a race with IObit Malware Fighter is nothing. Once I got close and restart, same as at the beginning. Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.7a5pre minefield version seem to work normally, other mines fails to remember the passwords even if it is checked. Any ideas on what to try?

  I am running Diagnostics on my PC. I don't know if my hard drive is completely broke down, or if my hard drive has a formatting error. I'm currently back up all my data using HP Recovery Manager, because I may decided to restore my computer to its factory settings to correct I hope than the hard drive. My question is: if I can run HP Recovery Manager and data Back, it means that my hard drive is not broken?

  I read your post about your hard drive problem and wanted to help.

  Let's start by defining some terms.

  When a disk 'crashed', it means a hardware failure, such that the disk cannot be read. You can not write on the disc or read him.  It can only be repaired by this disassembly and replacement of parts.  This must be done in a clean room environment and the cost to do that starts at $1000 USD.

  When a disc has "failed", this could mean practically anything.  In some cases, this means that the file system is damaged.  This may be due to the closure of the PC in the middle of a write operation, as when all of a sudden, you turn off your PC.  This can also be due to hardware problems as for lack of sectors.  In both cases, the drive is probably still usable, but in the second case, it won't be for long.

  So if HP Recovery runs, then it is not 'crashed', but he could have 'failed' - and in the latter case, if she fails to sectors, replace faster you it, the better.

• No video on TV using Satellite A50 542

  I'm not able to get an output of video taken on my laptop Satellite A50 542.
  I connected the laptop to my TV via s video cable and a cable oudio via the headphone jack.
  The sound is fine, but no video.

  I tried connecting since the s video Jack to SCART input still no joy.

  As I advised, you should take the free online tutorials. You clearly lacks the basic concepts of LabVIEW, as data flow.

  Things more: in your real applicaton does not use DAQ Assistant, screw Express are generally not optimal for data acquisition. It is safer and better use good DAQmx live. What is the equipment you use? Sampling rate, etc.?

  Why do you need to read data files? For testing? I thought that you will acquire data active, right? In your VI generate you some signals and write in a data file. Is this also for testing?

  There are several constructs in your VI which simply don't make sense.

  So again, I really suggest to go through online Core1-2 teaching material, which is accessible if you are a student, or if you have shared services provider license... It will really help.

  LabVIEW dear Experts,

  Can someone please explain the format of port for digital entries? I just got a new Omega OM-USB-1208FS and I am trying to use its digital i/o lines to control the LED sequences (there are 8 total led and I would do a VI that lights seen LEDs based on perhaps an array of bool, or something like that). I thought maybe format port would treat my U8 as a bit vector and write it in 8 lines from the port of entry, but to test it, I see this isn't happening. If someone could tell me how port format actually works, or even better, a good way to make the VI that I mentioned above, it would be appreciated.

• X 360 13-4103dx spectrum: spectrum display x 360 / its questions.

  Looking at my screen, it seems to me that if the contrast is too high.

  Adjusting through the graphics settings screen intel (intel) and lowering the contrast helped, it is now the "40" value, but I feel like he is still too high. Browns are too orange, yellow are too white. If I could drop that to 40/100 to 20/100, I think it would be a sweet spot.

  If the flashing is on the printer itself, your best bet for good support would be with the manufacturer of the printer.

  If the flashing is on a window inside your PC, then we should probably do the following:

  1. remove the printer from the PC.

  2 uninstall the printer from the PC driver.

  3 reinstall the printer driver.

  4 reinstall the printer.

• Digital output to a different voltage?

  Hi all

  I finally finished my program of data acquisition for the laboratory, which made the acquisition of AI voltage multi-channel digital outputs with timed to control the gas valves. My post-doc asked an additional feature, however, which must be able to have the analog output... It turns out that what he really wants to do with the feature is to have output digital, but with a different voltage value (he never hears on the sending of information higher or lower in a simple experiment).

  Now, the program is set up to run digital output now, it would be quite a bit of work to change in a zone of OCCUPATION. Is it possible to simply change the settings somewhere to have the ups to DO at a different voltage?   Well, it is just too bad for the post-doc.  Maybe he should give you better requirements next time

  OK without being in a bad mood, it is not a way to change the digital output voltage.  When you talk about DIO cards really aims to communicate only high or low and have a voltage. The only other option would be to use 4 AO ports on the card and treat them programmatically as DO.
