  I have a big house, with my router (BT home hub) in a wiring closet in a laundry room. The House is wired for ethernet and my current Wi - Fi, a Netgear WPN802, is placed at the best discreet place in the House. It is quite visible from everywhere in the House, the signal is quite low in some places.

  If I replace it with a common Netgear router, switched to AP mode, I see a significant improvement in the strength of signal and the beach? Smartphones, tablets and streaming music boxes (Sonos) are the usual wifi customers.

  In general, with one exception, hand-off is controlled by the device. On devices where the roaming aggressiveness can be adjusted, usually of the laptops and PC with Wi - Fi cards, it is sometimes possible to do hand-off low impact, but it is often neither transparent nor without interruption. I walk often so, personally, that this is not a matter of my house with my laptop streaming.

  However, smartphones often do not have adjustable settings of roaming aggressiveness, but it is precisely the devices with which we want to transfer transparent. My old iPhone 5 was terrible to homelessness at home and at work.

  If you install a second WAP in your House, don't expect transparent transfers. But, as I said, it's usually to the device.

It is marketed as a wireless extension, but it is also usable as a wired access point. It'll be cheaper than the R7000. But if you want to improve your router, then the R7000 is an excellent choice. I have one and it covers almost my entire House, 2 storeys.

  After you resolve the problem with the error-3902 (file error), VDR has collected much embarrassing mistakes in my warning and error report. So, I need to remember the amount of errors or check again each time I logged to VDR.

  Is a pretty broad question, and the answers range from: free, but you must know what you do to the solutions goes from US$ 5000.00 - 10, 000.00 (and you should know what you're doing).

  In the simplest form, you may be able to get away with something like NetStumbler (free, www.netstumbler.com). NetStumbler give levels, the use of channel and an indication of the interference of signals.

  Another popular (free) system is Kismet, that runs on Linux. It will also give you an indication of the intensity of the signal, the use of channel and noise/interference. Kismet can also be extended and use as a form of Wireless Intrusion detection.

  It's great that you are looking to do a study on place, but ultimately you will need to refresh operation, technology and parametric requirements to be able to correctly interpret the information that provide the tools.

  There are no tools for an exit that will give you Explicit instructions on how to build your network wireless based on the collected data.

  There are some management systems, like the WLSE and tools provided with the Cisco LWAP, which will show you the cover you RF, rogues, performance, etc. .in real / near real time. The use of these you can set a permanent system, or there are even tools 'auto adjustment' in systems to balance out of your APs for the best coverage with the material available.

  It would be useful that you could provide some details, so we can guide you in a direction.

  In theaters, it is possible, but it would not be a good idea and would probably result in one if not both of your applications being rejected or pulled from the store. I recommend that you consider the strengths and weaknesses of these two investments and choose the better of the two.

  Kiosk apps require an in-app subscription purchase (price can be free) while the non-kiosque apps don't require subscriptions.

  I have worked in all these languages and they have all of their strengths and weaknesses. Part of the answer lies in what kind of applications, you think that you will develop. If the games is the answer, I suggest the route NDK (C/C++). However, if you do not have a background in C/C++, it can be a hard thing just pick up. Most of the API is in C, so if you come from a background of OOD/P, it feels awkward. If you're going to make the game simple and or more 'business' apps and you like a clean, ASP OO, AS3 is a good choice. Many examples, mature platform. If you use HTML and JavaScript, the Webworks is an excellent choice. To the user, if done well, will have a hard to see what language was used. I've seen amazing things in WebWorks/HTML5 but I personally find awkward JavaScript.

  It is personal things because any argument you make for one, you can easily counter. I suggest to choose a simple application and try to build the same application in all 3 so you can get an idea of how it works. That was the easiest to build and maintain will probably provide the answer.

  There is a bit of a hierarchy for the different languages in terms how close you want to rely on the performance and to approach the 'metal' of the material (NDK-> AS3-> WebWorks).

  not so sure that this post should be under this heading. I have a question to ask. The company network is based of CISCO and recently we had another provider has presented and Juniper. Juniper representatives who were promoting technology Juniper said a lot about CISCO which personally I didn't like. Is it true that the Juniper security products are top of the class and that CISCO is not? I'm confused. I feel that CISCO is still the leading provider of safety compared to other providers. I need insurance.

  It is the work of the Juniper guys to sell their products. During the sale they will provide 3rd party reports saying that they are the best and Cisco is not. They show all of the weaknesses of Cisco. When you talk about Cisco, they do the same thing about Juniper devices. This is the area of the sale. Each provider has strengths and weaknesses. No one supplier is the best in all areas. We use Cisco firewalls and Juniper. We love the junipers because they can do things that are not Cisco. On the other hand, Cisco can do some things that Juniper impossible. It's all about what features are important to you and the placement of the device (s).

  I am using 11.2.0.4.0 - oracle Version. I have underwear paremters on GV$ parameter
  pga_aggregate_target - 8GB
  hash_area_size - 128 KB
  Sort_area_size - 64 KB
  
  Now under query plan is running for ~ 1 HR and resulting in question tempspace. Unable to extend segment temp of 128 in tablespace TEMP.
  We have currently allocated ~ 200GB at the tempspace. This query runs good for the daily race with Nested loop and the required index, but to run monthly that it changes the plan due to the volume I think and I went for the join of HASH, who believe is good decision by the optimizer.

  AFAIK, the hash join reverse to temp will slow query response time, so I need expert advice, if we increase the pga_aggregate_target so that HASH_AREA_SIZE will be raised to adequate to accommadate the driving table in this? howmuch size and should put us, it should be the same as the size of the array of conduct? or are there other work around the same? Note - the size of the driving table B is "~ 400GB.

  Find plans by trial and error is not an efficient use of the time - and if it was a good idea to avoid joins and hash, then Oracle have set up their in the first place. I can understand your DBA with a yen to avoid, however, because any spill of a hash for disc often join a (relative) effect much more important than you might expect.  In this case, however, you have a loop nested in A_GT which operates 39M times to access a table of 82 lines index - clearly (a) CPU work to achieve would be reduced if you included table columns in the index definition, but more significantly the cost of CPU of the A_GT/C_GT join would drop if you have built a hash in memory of A_GT table that is not a hash join.

  What you ask for is a description of how to optimize a warehouse of data on Exadata machine - a forum is not the right place for this discussion; all I can say is that you and your databases need to do some testing to find out the best way to match queries to the Exadata has, so keep an eye on queries that produces the application in case of change of usage patterns.  There are a few trivial generalities that anyone could offer:

  (a) partitioning a day is good, so you can ensure that your queries are able to do partitioning to remove only the days where they want; even better is if there is a limited set of partitions that you can

  (b) e/s for joins of large hash spilling to disk can be catastrophic compared to the underlying i/o for tablescans for the first access to the data, which means that simple queries can give the impression that Exadata is incredibly fast (especially when the index the flash cache and storage are effective), but slightly more complex queries are surprisingly slow in comparison.

  (c) once you have passed the flash server cell cache, single block reads are very large and slow - queries that do a lot of single e/s (viz: big reports using nested against randomly scattered data loops joins) can cause very slow IO.

  You must know the data types, know the general structure of your queries, be ready to generate of materialized views for derived complex data and understand the strengths and weaknesses of the Exadata.

  What I would say, it's sure others on this forum a little more in detail to help you.  You mention that you have found many applications, and each has its strengths and weaknesses.  I think that the following details can help the community by providing you with the best option.

  • You are wanting to download from specific sites on the internet; YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc...?
  • What are personally more concerned; Download speed, the playback quality, file type, etc...?
  • What are the applications that you are considering, and what forces you like about them and how the concerns that you have about them?
  • What application do you intend on playing these videos back; Zune, Xbox, video, Windows Media Player software, etc...?

  In addition to the listed details, add all other details that you believe to be relevant in the decision of which application can use.

• Transfer from Photoshop to InDesign text style

  Dear all,

  I'm about to tear my hair out on this one.  I created a text layer in Adobe Photoshop using the Orange Gradient with style in the Panel shadow styles.  The text layer appears in a photograph.  How can I get this text layer in InDesign and work with him on the same photograph?  I tried to save it to the CC library, but I can't seem to get that to work for me.  Copy / paste does not retain the style format.  I think that there should be an easy way to do it.  Save as a psd file does not work, either – nothing allows me to edit and work with the style in InDesign, if I want to change some of the words, etc.  It is frustrating, so I must be missing something simple.  I can't keep the layers feature when moving from Photoshop to InDesign.  I am a monthly subscriber and have also an Illustrator and other Adobe software.  Can I use one of them?  I want to create a magazine in InDesign using some pictures and text in Photoshop, because I like the feature styles there, but can't seem to get anything to work for me.  Thank you.

  Place as PDF or PSD is the way to do this.

  To make changes to the text, click right in InDesign and use Edit Original. This will open your document in Photoshop, and the changes will be applied when you return to InDesign.

  As a side note, text with effects, Illustrator may be the best place to create and then place it as an AI in InDesign.

  In regards to layers, you can control which layers in Photoshop or Illustrator document are displayed to in InDesign, but you cannot directly work with the layers. Each program has its strengths and weaknesses, and they are intended to be used together.

• Error HDR in 2015 CC

  The HDR function does not work in 2015 from CC, it shows that the photos are selected, but there is nothing once the merger over (I guess!).
