  You can do a Google for "Motorola Phone Tools v4.0" type search online. Simply choose a vendor that you feel you can trust (buyer beware).

  How can I switch my Phone Tools software (v 4.60f) from a mobile phone old, obsolete to my most recent work station (P4pc_XP-Home_SP3)? I tried connecting the Avanquest (where I bought and downloaded the software) Web site, but don't recognize all the email addresses, I remember. I could have used an I is more access or remember. There must be another way, right?

  If it is a download option that they recommend that you save this file on a SD card, flash or CD player if you recreate the image on your pc. Unfortunately there is no way for me to send you a digital copy after checking proof of purchase. If you have the CD original version 4.04 and above, you should be able to put in your new computer and use the Live update to version 5.27 (first version compatible with Windows 7), then continue the update to the latest version. Do not plug your phone until the software shows that it is up-to-date.

  HP Vista 64-bit. Can I get an installer loaded, but it will not install the program completely. I had my XP and I think that the problem has to do with Vista. Is there some kind of patch or something to make it compatible? Thank you.

  What version of MPT do you have? I think you need V5.0 for Vista.

• Everyone can synchronize their Karma with Moto Phone Tools and Windows 7?

  I bought phone Tools Motorola directly from Avanquest because the bike download link was broken days (not even sure if it works now). After installation on Windows 7, everything seems to work, and Windows indicates that the drivers are installed, but Moto Phone Tools can not find my phone.   Sorry, THAT MPT will not work on a Mac (unless you emulate Windows on your Mac). Some Motorola phones are supported by iSync. Karma not on the list, but I do not know if it is updated. Check it out here.

  Classic Phone Tools is not a Microsoft application.  It is a suite of applications that allows a modem to be used in various ways, including Fax, answering machine, phone calls, etc.  Exactly what we can do depends as well on the actual modem installed and what version of CPT.

  A 'lite version' is often provided with the modem.  This software may not include all the features and it will not support the Avanquest.

  Even if the phone is recognized on the computer, sometimes bad or corrupted SD/flash card card can cause this kind of scenario on Windows Media Player. Try to disconnect the SD card and check if the Player sync with the phone. Also check if another device appears under the list of devices in Windows Media Player. For troubleshooting, you can also uninstall the software of the phone (Samsung kies) and reinstall them.
