Vectors pixellisant

Hi all
Can someone explain to me why when I create a path of the form it's not regtangle or square when I Zoom in on these objects, they are pixleated on the edges. My understanding of the vectors it is a mathmatical calculation, so, do not use pixles it happens not to illurstrator or flash. I would be gratefull if someone could help me understand what is happening in the Fireworks with vectors.
Cheers. Martyn

Hi Razmanov
Thanks for your explanation and for helping me understand this point.

  • File Adobe Stock vector keeps pixellisant when placed in InDesign

I bought this vector AI on Adobe Stock. Works beautifully in Illustrator (I made a few changes), and that you want to place in InDesign for a poster, but it horribly pixelated that I drag from one program to the other, except in the libraries of CC and drop, save under, pdf, psd or png before placing them. Re-uploaded original version unedited. Don't look at what, the image is perfect until it is opened in InDesign. Then she rasterizes to extreme levels. It seems there will be no change in the quality of resolution or image when I check vital signs. I have not had this problem before. Thanks for any help.

    Hi Debra,

If the placed graphic is vector pure without transparency applied after you bought it, it should appear as pixelated when opened in an exported PDF/X-4 document.

    Unless:

You rasterizes the vector information through the flattening of transparencies may on export to PDF.

And you did not use the standard preset PDF/X-4. Maybe you have exported to a PDF format requiring its flattening of transparency.

    Try the following:

    Create a new document.

Place the image on a blank page by using the set command.

Do not use a CC library this time.

Export page in PDF/X-4 (with NO downsampling; you must change the default settings for this).

Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader.

Zoom to more than 1000% and make a screenshot of part of the graph that should be as a vector.

    Best post screenshot online here.

Use the function "Insert an Image" of the forum to do so.

    Kind regards

  • Why is my Adobe Stock image pixellisant when I place it in InDesign?

I am a former member of Fotolia and DollarPhotoClub.  I have no questions, choose files Illustrator .eps or .jpg for Photoshop in the past.  Always when I placed the images in InDesign, they were clear for the large banners (4'x 8') I do.  Now, unfortunately, every picture I have download for use on my banner templates are pixellisant to the original format.  I convert to .pdf before sending it to the company of the banner, but still get an error of them telling me that my images are pixelated.  I tried to smart objects, upping the resolution, change the size... nothing seems to work!  ANY one out there who has a suggestion?

Limit your search to the vectors will give you pictures you can resize to whatever size you like. I'm not aware of any site image of Stock that have photos to the size you need.

  • pencil drawings are vectors?

If I record in eps something I draw with the pencil tool in CS6, who draws a vector?

I need these drawings for various projects later, and I would like to know that it's ok to drag in photoshop and resize them without losing any clarity.

    Thank you!

Yes, as long as you apply no effect hatched in Illustrator, your "pencil drawings" will be vectors. However save EPS are undesirable unless part of your workflow requires this format; which is unlikely, unless the other party has software that is obsolete. You'd better save in Illustrator native.ai or .pdf.

Note that regardless of the file format, if you then open in Photoshop, you will be pixellisant vectors. This too... unless it must inevitably be... is not desirable.

I need these drawings for various projects subsequently...

What type of project; fact in what software? The answer to this question will be the factor determining whether if you need to rasterize or not.

  • Is it possible to import files to first, so that they retain the vector properties?

Is it possible to import files to first, so that they retain properties of vector, as continually rasterising if they are enlarged up to a size larger than their original import size?

In my opinion, After Effects can do this, but Premiere pro pixellisent the element when added to the sequence.

  • Pixellisant when you press the screen - MBP w / retina

Then... I'm a bit overprotective of my stuff from Apple - start w / that.

I accidentally pushed my thumb up against the screen and there were some comments/pixellisant (don't know how to call it) which disappeared when I took my thumb off the screen.  Further, I'll make sure not to put pressure on the screen when opening - but, is this normal and is there problems in the long term be wary after doing this?

Thanks for being patient with me...

If it is a thing of the time, there is nothing to fear. Just use your Mac as you normally would.

  • Vector art & culture in pictures

I imported a vector (.ai) file in the photos. It retains the .ai suffix, but it seems to have been converted into a raster format when it is placed in a photo book. What format does get converted to (PNG, JPEG, etc.)?

And why Photos automatically crop the image? The Options allow you to zoom in the image, but it does not zoom out so the entire image is visible in the image on the page of the book.

    Photos Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

    iMac 27 "late 2009

    OS X El Cap

Probably JPEG - I only did this so am not positive - in the book in most of the themes you can right click on the placed image and select adjust the framework in the case that you placed another photo of ratio in a 4:3 photo frame

  • First HP: unit vector

Is there any function to get the unit vector of a vector 3 elements?
    For example

    [2-4-5]

I know not how to set a function to do this, but there's something by default?

Your program you have written will thus run very well in the RPN. There is no programming mode "RPN".

Note that when the program returned from the Toolbox-> users-> [progname >]-> [progfunc] location she returned to the command-line as PROGNAME(). You can immediately tap on enter and it runs into the ars of the battery. Only in the case of a function that accepts different numbers of arguments you would put anything inside of () to indicate to the args system how to remove the battery.

  • First HP: conspiring a vector

    Is this another feature release?

I don't know exactly what you mean by "draw a vector.  Do you mean a plot of slopefield? Do you mean the tail an arbitrary sequence of vectors and see where they are?

Slopefields currently located in geometry. The other you could probably easily do in geometry, but I'm not aware of a graphing calculator that implements.

If you mean something else, please provide details.

  • First HP: Common Operations with 2D and 3D vectors

I have not found a way to work with vector quantities 2D and 3D common representing the position, strength, speed, etc..  in a manner similar to the way in which the first HP manages complex numbers.  I used the HP-48 and the HP-50 where these useful functions were available to my students in engineering, but seems to be missing in the first HP.  The TI - 89 Titanium also.    With the first HP I can add two complex numbers of the mixed formula ("real/imaginary" and "polar"), but have not found a way to do with vectors with real components in two or three dimensions.

What am I missing or what is hopefully a future update?

You are right - it is something not supported at this time. He will very probably be added at some point however.

  • HP 50 g: vector equations

Hi, I'm new to HP50G, but despite its impressive potential, I have not found anything on the vector equations. I need to do something similar to funicular polygon, I know module and the direction of the vector has only the direction of the vector B and c. is there a method to calculate the vector B and C modules?

    The equation to solve is somehow [A1, A2, A3] = [B1, B2, B3] + [0,0, w] ^ [C1, C2, C3]

    Hello fabsem,

your equation is not valid for hp50g:

    "[A1, A2, A3] = [B1, B2, B3] + [0,0, w] ^ [C1, C2, C3].

    0) the kommata are not used in vectors and expressions algebraic needs '

    (1) the sign "^" is reserved the power of a basis: 2 ^ 3 = 8

    (2) the power of a vector (and the exponent as a vector ether) is not declared in mathematics

    (3) the vector brakets are a kind of supersturcture. You can use for each component of the vector of an algebraic expression, but not the reverse: the expression: ['A' 'B' 'C'] [1 2 3] + is reduced just in time for: ['1 + A' '2 + B' ' 3 + it] when you press ENTER.

    It is so logic your equation for an entry for each component: ['A1 = B1 +(-C2*W)' 'A2 = B2 + W * C1' 'A3 = B3'] (I guess "^" means CROSS)

These three equations are linear and if you put the vector

    ['A1 = B1 +(-C2*W)' 'A2 = B2 + W * C1' 'A3 = B3'] on battery (2)

and for example ['A1' 'W' 'C1'] on battery (1), you can use LINSOLVE to solve

Try M1 (-c), where C is desired column number. For example M1(-2) for column 2.

    You can try:

    "{X 0 Y 0} |

    MAP

    "{X 0 Y 0} | SIMPLIFY. "
    MAP

or, for easy use write a small program to assign to a user key (for example the key tool;) (D)

  • Garmin Vector pedals USB ANT + in LabVIEW

    Hello

I would like to read the data of the vector Garmin pedals in LabView. For this, I would use the Ant + Garmin USB Stick.

I read a lot of similar topics in the Forum. But there was no real solution. Is there someone who works in the same topic or someone who already has a solution?

I also read on a Toolbox ANT +, but I don't know where I can find.

    Any idea would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    -BR

    Hi BR,

I have a solution for this problem, as I am the developer of the tool that you mention.

Communication with the pedals of Garmin Vector 2 using an ANTUSB-m is possible, we tested here at the office.

Unfortunately our website is currently undergoing a large redevelopment so it's not complete with all the information, but you can check it out here. There is still a little work to do on the site, so please have some patience when looking for things.

You can also find details on the Web site if you have any questions.

    See you soon,.
