Vendor Portal Beta - moving project to submit app

Hey guys,.

I'm looking around the App World beta and I can't find out how to make my application after making it a project.

Can anyone help?

Thank you

In the beta version of the provider portal, the key is to tap your card, press "More", then "submit for review".

  • Flag to set Autostart on request submit to the App World vendor Portal

    Hi all

I've been wondering. How the device know if my application will be run automatically at startup (when the device starts up) or not, if my application is installed by the user from the App World?

I thought that the autostart flag is stored in the Blackberry App descriptor XML file then reflected to the .jad file once I've compiled my app.

Presentation on the App World vendor Portal requires only the .cod files, not the descriptor xml file or a .jad file.

The autostart flag is also stored in the .cod file?

    Yes

  • New App World vendor Portal: invalid username or password

    Hello

I downloaded a new application on the supplier portal Monday night, today I tried to connect to App World to check the status of the submission...

But I get an "Invalid username or password" error, I'm a little worried, is it a bug related to the new portal AppWorld? What happened to my account?

    Thanks for the help!

The site was in maintenance yesterday and today the login window accepts the password of more than 15 characters in length, so I guess I was right about it being a bug ;-)

  • Could not connect to BlackBerry App World vendor Portal

I created an account as a vender, with my gmail account. But I can't connect now!

He always says "invalid username or password"

I tried to reset the password several times and no help.

Then I tried to re - create my account with my gmail account. And he says that this email has been used.

    What can I do now?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi firstrose,.

Chances are that we have not received documentation of the yor device yet.  This is why you are not able to connect.  Please fill out the support of the vendor form in the link below.  Someone will get back to you within 48 hours.

  • App generator error when you submit apps

    Hello

I did a little simple RSS applications (mostly for my own use) by using the web portal APP generator. I am registered and approved on the supplier portal, have my signature keys and have parameters of payment information. When I go to submit one of these applications, I get an error of Mippin screen:

"Sorry, that there was a problem with the page you requested, (sic) this problem were reported to the technical team of Mippin."

Is there a problem with the site, or I do something wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Moving projects between computers

    PP CC 2015.

I have three computers running it (multiple licenses). Two are in the office and we're at home.

I keep the OS/apps on a single disk (SSD) and PP projects and active on another disc (also a SSD). The PP project file is in its own folder "project xxx. In this folder is also an active folder, which has everything for the given project, including clips, images, etc. I leave the PP to the value by default when you create a new project, which places all the files from scratch in the same location as the project - putting an automatic check in the folder 'Project xxx' file, too. I have a separate folder on the SSD projects where PP projects are where I run preference > database and media Cache files. The structures of path are the same on all the computers of three of the drive letter down.

    So, it looks like this:

    C: OS/apps

    E:

-Data > PP projects > file xxx project

    -Project xxx file

    -Assets folder

    -Auto-Save folder

-PP media cache files and database file

I want to be able to move a project from one computer to the other.

That should be simple enough in theory - just copy the folder 'Project xxx' and it takes the project file and assets with her, that copy on the computer target and, assuming that the project has been moved back, replace (or, rather, first remove) all that was target of an earlier version of the project in the same folder on the computer. Simple. Right? Except maybe for the part about the removal of the former associated files to the target computer where the old version of the project existed.

Thus, the following questions come to the top:

    1. is the correct AutoSave subfolder of hover over just with him? (I guess "Yes, of course.")

    2. when I get to the computer target, what I have to delete the old project files or files in the media cache folder (files and database), or both?

    3. is there something else I'm on?

    Thank you!

    Hi Jay NW,.

    3. is there something else I'm on?

Yes, use the project manager to collect the files and function copy to a new location. It is much easier.

    Thank you
    Kevin

  • Moving data to the App back

I'm sure that this isn't a new topic, but haven't found the right thread to give me advice of what I'm looking. If you can direct me to the right place, I'd appreciate it.

    I have three Macs:

    1. Mac Mini is my main office, two monitors, outboard DAC w / powered speakers, ADC USB Guitar interface and mixer. Location primary iTunes, ripping, sync iPhone & iPad.
    2. Mac Mini is hooked to my home theater and is basically a HTPC, used mainly to play my library of iTunes music, but also for navigation and a casual game.
    3. MacBook Pro w/Bootcamp OS X / Windows 10 is used for travel and work from the desktop (more information below)

As described above, all right, I copy my mini iTunes library 1-mini 2 for playback on the HT. The problem is that I have spend half of the year in a secondary residence and take only the Macbook and speakers with me (and a few accessories travel to have a studio of distance). My primary applications are iTunes, iMovie, GarageBand, and Photos. After a thread or blog I was moved successfully data for these for the Macbook mini, the last fall of all worked very well this winter. Now I'm home and you want to move to the Mini, but feel there must be a better way to move these data twice a year (as she moves do not). A few solutions that I see are:

    1. Empty the main mini and do everything on the Macbook. Kind of a pain as the hooks upwards, but more that I would have the Macbook in my backpack and have an office to work on, or have windows running on the Macbook and OS X on the desktop.
    2. Get a fast external drive and move the reader with data between machines - back and only when I spend my winter home mainly. This seems the best option, but I want to keep the other machine operation when the drive is gone (although it does not run the applications above).
    3. iCloud... too slow, bad connectivity at home, too big files (I use photo stream for most on my iPad and iPhone).

I'm looking for safe and effective to do this gesture twice a year, I like suggestions, or just point me to an existing solution. I posted this in OS X as it seemed better than hardware, but if it belongs somewhere else let me know. Thanks for your help.

Option 2 is certainly the way I'd go. Invest in training on an empty stomach you can afford, or you think is a reasonable investment and go for it. I would also get a player with a very fast interface, Thunderbolt, if your computer supports, USB 3 would be my second choice. I would also like to get something that had the redundancy. A double disk configuration that can be configured as a RAID 1 mirror so if a disk fails, you lose all your data.

    Something like this http://www.lacie.com/ca/en/products/raid/2big-thunderbolt-2/

    or this https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/Thunderbolt/External-Drive/OWC/Elite-Dual-RAID

Remember, the RAID is not a backup. Always save your files!

  • copy a same project and BlackBerry APP World?

I know, I always use the same signature key of deploying applications for BlackBerry World - otherwise it would be 'an other' app and lost all data from sandbox

    What I do not know:

What are the criteria to be sure, that the app is the "same" BB world POV?

    My guess:

It is only the name of the package of bar - descriptor.xml

    Am I wrong?

I ask because I have a few 'old' created from the old SDK and IDE apps and I want to create new in a new workspace of the newest IDE.

so I think it will be ok:

    1. Create a new project in Eclipse with the same name
    2. Use the same package name in bar-descriptor (edited: identical to the in .xml - thx Peter Hansen)
    3. copy of the old project:
    4. / SRC
    5. liabilities
    6. Translations / *. TS
    7. Icon.PNG
    8. make adjustments in .pro (add libs used by the project)
    9. build the project and see if build errors

    If all ok,

    1. remove the old content of local repo Git, copy a new
    2. Check the differences
    3. validate and push
    4. continue normal work

next time, deploying to BB would be recognized as a new version of the existing application

    Don't you think it's safe?

It should be package , no name. Also the AuthorID should be the same, but of course, which has required just to use the same signature keys, so it's kind of force on your.

The field is, I think, irrelevant, which is good because you should be able to change the name of the application without it losing access to data on the sandbox upgrade.

  • Need help on submit app

    Hi all

What is the use of the Post option for sale in portal provider Blackberry?

    Thank you

Until you click on it, your application does not appear in the world of BlackBerry. Once you click it, it will take up to 24 hours spread in servers and see for everyone.

When you submit the application first, there is a checkbox somewhere that allows you to control if you have to manually click on Post like that. If you left it by default, you would not do this so who remember next time.

Updates, it should not be a problem... they always automatically appear after approval (but with the same delay up - to - 24 hours).

  • Managed Beta 2 - projects of the Entity Framework does not

Tried to do the simplest EF test I think:

1 deleted all the stuff of Oracle on my system, getting rid of the development tools and others. Reinstalled the client stock 11.2.3.0 (without tools). Installed the new managed Beta 2 in a new House, with development tools.
    2. create a new project 4 .net (c# console application).
    3. create a new Oracle connection, using the managed provider. Travelled around the work a little, and tables.
4 create a new FE model, load the tables of the database. This also works.

Where it does not, it's when I try to run and do a query, I get this:

ArgumentException: The specified store provider is not found in the configuration, or is not valid.
Inner ArgumentException: "could not find him required .net Framework Data Provider." It cannot be installed. »

Explicitly adding a reference to Oracle.ManagedDataAccess and Copy Local = True parameter has not changed anything. I don't know at this point what he seeks, but is not finding it.

Also tried adding a configuration section and set TNS_ADMIN, just in case it was. Who has not to solve it. In fact I had to add this to the top of the config file to make it run even after you have configured the config:
    "< name =" article oracle.manageddataaccess.client"type =" OracleInternal.Common.ODPMSectionHandler, Oracle.ManagedDataAccess, Version = 4.112.3.60, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 89b483f429c47342 "/ >

I will update the post if I tell me what goes wrong here, but it seems like it should work.

I assume that you run the configure.bat Installer script included with the installation of Xcopy. In the future, you can run just this part of the script that configures the client factory section. The installation script is commented so that you can easily discern where it is.

In this way, you don't need to create the unique entry from factory to customer for .NET applications on your machine.

  • Problem sharing projects and using App of local history.

Since that day I have not been able to share anything from adobe story... Enter the new ID email q and say okay... he tries for a second then tells me I have no internet connection (which clearly I do since im working in the online version)

so if I launch the history local app (mac) and connection - none of my projects appear! OK... it tells me I'm working offline, maybe that is the problem - if I select "work online" and it does nothing... not even a dialogue... what the hell is going on there! Help!

  • Moving project between first CS5 and CS5.5 will not work... Help!

If all goes well installed CS5.5 sparer dir and tried to import the CS5 project. Well he opened very fast but then he had trouble scouring the project. It seems that CS5.5 dislike some mov files. Maybe som codec problems? The windows monitor will be freezes or the display of 'media pending' forever. On some files mov, *.avi and SB it will allow scrubbing... but very slow. Rendering will not work either when it comes to some problem files, it will stop making and ending with the creation of crash. I tried to create a new empty project to 5.5 and just imported these "problem files", but then it works very well with the washing and rendering. There is no open problem the project in CS5.03, everything works perfectly there. So what I did? Yes, I backed up my c: drive and formatted, it... 28 hours later I installed everything nice and fresh with only the CS5.5 version on my drive. That worked better? N° !!! the same problem. After another 15 hours of trial and error, I got my "blessed of God" has registered C:disk. As far as I understand that this problem seems to be a problem with 5.5 and not my setup of the computer with codecs etc.? If there is someone out there who can help me?
