Venetian blind control using motor continuous

Hello everyone... im from Malaysia

IM want to know how to create VI which I controlled motor continuous...

motor continuous control the shutter according to the density of lux... It will open angle by angle to synchronize with the lux and time density

for example... the time normal (Malaysia, without rain) in the morning, the blind will be open 45 * (* = degree)... noon, the blind will be open about minus 45 then * since penetriate from the heat of the Sun, while at night the blind should open max to get the full illuminations...

could someone help me on what the function should be used or perhaps some examples of basic and moderate of yours?

IM using student edition labview 7.1 and niDAQ usb 6009

1.i want to control a motor which react as stepper motor, but moves smoothly

2. the meter will collect data and sent to the motor continuous

I have to use the PID controller?

There are many examples on how to generate a PWM on one in the buffer, or on a counter, but that does not support this card.  A 8 a cDAQ chassis also a BNC connector that can be used as a counter as well.  These examples can be found in help > example Finder in LabVIEW.

Also be aware of your current limiting.  This card can drive a decent amount of current, but it has its limits.  You'll want to put an inline meter to see what is current and see how far you get to it.

How can I transform into a feedback system, with a given reference signal?

    Thank you

The "cascade dc motor speed regulator" example uses the Control Design and Simulation Module, and it is thought to control a motor which is simulated. Since you have to acquire data from a real system the standard while loop is correct.

  • How to use Labview to control the motorized turntable?

    Hello

I am new to Labview and do a project that requires the use of labview to control the motorized turntable (XYZ axes). I need to use the Labview programming and have no idea at all. Need help, thank you very much!

    Lei,

Everything said by others is correct and to do because they describe, at a given time. But I always approached these projects of motion control first by looking at the 'motion controller' (I hope you have a) and 'drivers' (what you need) between the computer/LabVIEW and engines decide what communications will be required for these devices and get an idea of the syntax of command and the language to use with them.  In some cases, the controller and the motor driver are integrated in a single unit. Heck, in some cases, they are even integrated with each engine.

The motors can be the stepper motors or perhaps servomotors.

In the case of drivers stepper (devices that provide power electronics to run the engines), many of them are run using only two control signals for digital called 'step' (a pulse train) and 'direction' (high-low level) and if it is possible to generate directly with the PC, it's an order of magnitude easier (if you have not already a library of available motion control to manage the generation of these signals and) the execution of the stepper motors) of having a "Motion Controller" between the PC and the "motor".  Engine drivers step by step usually can be configured that current engine and the size of the stage and sometimes for the other plus-moteur/driver-parameter setting. The configuration of these can be made with jumpers, switches or, for some drivers, with orders ASCII on some sort of port of communication, but in general these are values you download the installer once at the beginning and then never touch again if you do not need generally to have a full time available on their change communication path.

In the case of the actuator drivers (once again the devices that provide power electronics to run the engines), many use a +/-10V control input analog signal, and, again, while it is possible to generate the signal directly with the PC hardware, a separate axes controller is usually much simpler and more robust.  In the case of a servo system, there is also a signal back to an encoder or resolver attached to the engine to be used by any device will exercise the motion controller in the system.  There are once again associated with the driver configuration parameters (and controller in this case, since it is part of the servo feedback loop) which must be configured at the start but once set up properly, they rarely need to be changed again.

A movement controller which is separated from the PC often manage several drivers, and can often coordinate a movement between them. It will load the rise up/down of the engine speed as that changes. It will be followed by position of each motor. The servo system, but it will take the feedback signal and use it to adjust the speed/position/torque of the engine. The motion controller also deal with race and home or index of signals is usually on most lines of movement and provide information of the State of the switch to the PC.   To run the motor controller is then just a matter of chaining a set commands of (usually ASCII) to indicate how fast to run and how far to go (and direction) and by sending a command "do it." Then, ask you to keep track of the status of the process and the States of the switches.

In many cases the builders of controllers of movement are a primitive way to communicate with the controllers of a PC with no additional software other than what they offer. With this you can at least have an idea of how different the controller commands and responses they produce. That you can start to build sequences of commands to perform the actions you want.

You can then add LabVIEW to the mix and to understand how you can get it to send sequences of similar orders on the paths of communication that are available and respond intelligently to the information it receives in return for motion control.

  • How to control 2 motor epos using microcontroller 50/5

Hello. I did a program of integrated epos of labVIEW for control 1 motor epos. I make the program using the sub - vi from labVIEW epos data, but I don't know how to control 1 motor. Can anyone help me or tell me how to control 2 motors or wad is necessary? Thanks for your help :-D

    Hi Spydi,

I don't think you need the CANopen library since you already use the instrument EPOS Driver.

Currently using a NI-CAN device to connect your controller? This is a device for both engines I think?

We are not very familiar with this set of drivers because it is not created by NOR, but I think all you have to do is to change the axis of entry to determine which engine is controlled.

So probably your first engine corresponds to the axis 0 (default value in the example program), then your second engine corresponds to the axis 1. When you want to send commands to the different engines, set the ID of node/keyhandle axis accordingly.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to create momentum for an emitter follower circuit that will lead to a motor continuous

The circuit is a circuit of position control. A pulse must be created (between + 12v and - 12v) which would be injected into the acquisition of data in order to make the circuit follower of transmitter (composed of 1 npn and pnp transistors to 1) if the result is positive, the motor continuous go drive and negative from the other direction. PWM can be used? any other type of pulses may work?

You have installed the drivers for the acquisition of data?  What DAQ hardware do you use and what drivers?  There are several different versions.

There should be some counter examples if you have installed the drivers for data acquisition.  Have you tried the examples?

  • DC motor of control using the analog output of DAQ 6008

    Hello

Since the 6008 DAQ implements not good PWM, can I control the speed of the DC motor using outputs analog, protected by amplifiers?

    This will damage my DAQ?

Ok.  The engines will be quite low.

Consider using an LM317 as the "amplifier". Add one or two diodes protection. Connect the AO to the terminal of the regulator with a resistance setting to land.  Your output voltage can go down to 1.25 V and up to minutes (battery-2 V, Vaomax-1,25 V). If you have a battery of 12 V and a 12 V, the maximum speed of the motor engine will be slightly lower than the nominal speed full. The minimum voltage the motor probably will not work.  The regulator has a built in protection against overcurrent and overheating.  It's the motor controller cheaper you can do and works very well.

If you need to reverse the engines, things get complicated a bit more.  You can use a DPDT relay or a transistor H-bridge.

  • How can I work around a potentiometer that feeds a speed control using a SCC-AO10 module? Which wires I need to cut and where they connect to the SCC-AO10 module?

I'm trying to circumvent a potentiometer that controls a blower DC motor. The potentiometer (10 kohm) has a wire greeen (+ 10V) a blue wire (ground) and a red wire (AI1 0-10 V voltage). These three sons feed a mounted ABB inverter which converts the 3 phases power somehow (220-240V) to a signal for the DC motor in the blower. I want to make a loop of speed control for the speed of the blower in Labview and I have to work around the knob. If I intend to use a PID that is equivalent to a speed measured at the speed setting, how can I get an output signal to my SCC-AO10 to the speed control? Asked me to use a switch that would allow to use potentiometer or the automatic control loop in Labview. Which wires should I cut the potentiometer and where I need to connect them on the SCC-AO10?

Someone did this and the PID of a blower motor? Please help me if you can.

    «The promising (10 kohm) (10 kohm) potentiometer potentiometer has a wire greeen (+ 10V) a blue wire (ground) and a red wire (AI1 0-10 V voltage).» a greeen wire (+ 10V) a blue wire (ground) and a red wire (AI1 0-10 V voltage). »

If you release the + 10V and the ground.

The reader reacts to the voltage input (0 - 10V)

Simply connect this red wire to your analog output module and ground (blue) on the floor of your module.

  • Ideas for driver control of motors stepper with USB-6009

I have a stepper motor driver that supports a digital input for the control signal.  Each rising edge on the driver entry corresponds to the movement of a single step.  I have two devices USB-6009.  Is it possible to generate a digital signal with the 6009 faster than 150 Hz?  I need produce variable frequency in the interval from 0 to 1 KHz.

    zaphead,

The OID on your 6009 being timed sofware it comes out as fast as your computer all supports.  If a computer faster or less current will help things but you will get not the 1 kHz you need.  The best way to get this is to use another card that supports hardware timing DIO.

  • Control using the arrow keys

I hope someone can help. I am new to Flash CS4 - yet to learn - and that must have left me speechless for days! Deadline is always the same...

I'm redrawing a powerpoint presentation that contains a lot of graphics etc (total 29 slides) and I want to animate it in Flash. I developed everything in Illustrator and I am now at the stage of do this everywhere Flash.

Once I have everything Flash and animation, what I want to do is let the presenter (my client) to control playback using the arrow keys (aka powerpoint). My intention is to have labels for the various steps in the graph where the animation stops (using stop();) and then when the presenter press the right arrow key presentation will continue to play. I also need the left arrow key to return to the previous where label they advance too far or they must go back to look at something.

Also, I was wondering what best practice would be creating something like this. Should I create separate Flash files for each 'slide' and load (really do not know how to do this) or use separate video clips for each slide in a single Flash file? My lack of knowledge leaves me wanting to build along the timeline of a, but I guess it would get too complicated...

My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but after a search both the Adobe and the web site, I can't find an appropriate solution.

    Thanks in advance.

The code probably told "stop (...)". "You can change that to gotoAndPlay (..." and then add stop(); instead in the timeline. ")
