R850-14 t - FN feature satellite lost after installing Win 7
Hey,.
After Installing Win 7 32 bit, I had no functionality of FN.
I tried to find and also tried some drivers on the homepage, but I don't have the right one.If some know what driver I need exactly?
Thank you!
Hi mate
Did you install VAP (value added package)?
If this is not the case, to do this. After that, restart the laptop and check the functionality of the FN button. If the FN button would not work, install utility Support Flash Card which you could find in the box driver for other portable computer laptops; for example L500

Can satellite A300d-16W - I use HARD drive recovery after installing Win XP?
I formatted my PC and installed XP. Can I reinstall Vista using HARD drive recovery?
> I formatted my PC and install XP
No, you cannot use the recovery HARD drive after installing Win XP because looks like you have formatted the HARD drive and the HARD disk partition has been erased.
So you need to use the Toshiba Recovery disk that I hope, you created before you formatted the HARD drive.

Satellite A200-1AX: card reader SD and BT do not work after installing Win XP
Hello
About a year and a half, I bought my laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1AX and I'm very happy with it.
It had Vista on it. For this OS, my SD slot worked, but I don't know the bluetooth because I don't use it.Some time passed and I removed Vista and now I have Windows XP with sp3.
All right, but the SD slot does not work. Bluetooth does not work as well and it is not listed in Device Manager.
I tried Toshiba Bluetooth stack, and when the installation reaches the driver part it does not move. Here's a screenshot of my device manager:
[http://img22.imageshack.us/my.php?image=devicem.jpg]Those with question marks is not supported by XP as I know, correct me if I'm wrong.
Hello
Satellite A200-1AX belongs to the PSAE6E series.
It s equipped with BT module so after installing battery BT BT should work correctly, you need to activate using the FN + F8 keys.Regarding the housing of card reader SD;
You must install the Flash Media Driver for Texas Instruments. This is the driver for the Bridge Media Slot. This slot allows you to insert an SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture cards.By the way; the BIOS must be updated after the installation of Win XP. There is a version of BIOS (5, 60-WIN right now) that is specially designed for Win XP

He was running very very slow even on low graphics settings.

Tecra A8-ez8512 freezes on the splash screen after installing Win XP
Hi guys, this is my first post!
I recently had an opportunity Tecra A8-ez8512 as a gift that had Vista Business installed (and works perfectly!). As a passionate XP user, I quickly decided to format the WHOLE hard drive and then install XP Pro SP2.
After the format was successful and cleaned the entire hard drive, I put my xp cd in the drive and rebooted the laptop ready to select the boot cd.
But now it crashes right on the home screen with no small slider under ratings to select a boot device. I pressed on the key board, but nothing happens.
I noticed little black dots on the white part of the Intel symbol shortly after. What does that mean?
Can someone please give me some advice?
Thanks in advanceHello
No idea what the black little dots on the white part of the Intel symbol might be a graphics card problem? ?:| who knows.
But I m bit confused said you you formatted the HARD drive first, and then you insert the Win XP disk in order to install Win XP
How you format the HARD drive without the use of the Win XP disc?Secondly, it would be interesting to know if you can install the operating system using the Toshiba recovery disc.

Satellite L350D - 12 M PSLE0E - no sound after installing Win XP
Hello
I installed Win XP SP3 on my Tosh laptop.
I have everything works except the sound. We know of a compatible for this model sound card driver in XP.
I downloaded the bucket full of HD and AC97 Realtek drivers, but none seems not to work.I'm really struggling with this one and do not want to go back to Vista.
Reall any help is appreciated. Robbie.
Hello
I had the same problem with sound after installing XP everything seemed fine but no sound!
I found a solution;
You need to install the MS patches; KB835221 and KB888111
These hotfixes must be installed before installing driver sound! But I put t know how it works with SP3. I think that you need to remove the SP3 first and then you could install the patches mentioned.
However, once the patches have been installed, you must follow with the Realtek HD audio driver installation. The latest driver should be placed also on the Realtek page too.
Well, in my case it worked so it should work on your laptop too!

Problem of HP Mini 110-355 after installing win xp
Hi every1!

but the problems are.
(1) optical mouse usb does not work! He says: "cannot install, peripheral is dsabled" he keeps saying it, even after activation of the device said on Device Manager and the Device Manager, under HID class, there is an unknown device:
and: (2) my wifi and and bluetooth does not work (the two are also in the same switch)
I downloaded and installed any necessary drivers form net but only that both do not work.
hope to hear any response soon... thank you so mch...
Hello:
Please see if the chipset driver helps with this unknown device.
I don't know why your network cards do not work if you have the drivers installed for them.
Try the latest driver for network card for XP...
Try this driver package and the bluetooth software...

Tecra M7 unknown device after installing Win XP
Hello
I have a Tecra M7 Tablet PC.
After installing Windows XP Tablet PC edition and all the drivers for the Toshiba Homepage there are 3 s "unknown device" in Device Manager.
I installed the Ethernet drivers, but I do not see the adapter to the source 'network '.
What can I do to fix this?
MFG pizzaMAN
Since I n don't know what you mean devices I can't provide you with any information on the necessary drivers
You're talking about Ethernet driver you are meaning the LAN or WLan?
Usually the two cards (Wlan & Lan) should appear in devices-> network cards Manager
If there is an unknown device then it would mean that one of the pilots was not installed. On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find two Intel LAN drivers.
Check both!I put t know what your laptop wireless network card is because the Tecra M7 has been equipped with various wireless network cards, but all the drivers (Intel, Atheros) are placed on the page and you should try it!

Satellite A300D - 14 p - no sound after installing Win XP
Hello
I just intalled XP and everything works fine, just a problem with the sound.
I instaled driver sound and sound is very high up with no bass, I didn't have this problem when I had VIsta or Win 7 installed, it must have something to do with drivers. My windows is established to date, have SP3 and everything works perfectly.
What should I do?
Thank you!!!
Nikola
Hello
I had the same problem.
But I could solve this install Win XP fixes needed.
You must generally 2 patches:
AUDIO patch 1: KB835221
AUDIO patch 2: KB888111But these fixes are also part of the SP3.
So if you have previously installed SP3, you don t need other patches.
Bu the point is that SP3 must be installed before installing the audio driver. If you have already installed the sound driver then delete the system.
Go to Device Manager, then remove the sound card from the list of devices and all devices high definition.
Restart the device and then reinstall the audio driver. This is beneficial because it has helped me too.

Ethernet problem W700 after hibernation after installing Win 7 SP1
I installed Win 7 SP1 yesterday and now my W7 Enternet connections fail after awakening from hibernation. I have the most/all powersaving options got turned off/disabled.
The W700 is in a Docking Station.
Any thoughts?

I turned on my wireless connection and noticed two updates going on automatically I also noticed the icon "new hardware installation" in the system tray, but is closed before I could tell exactly what material. In any case, everything now works OK again.

If you installed the Windows operating system without using the HP recovery media, then you will need to download and install all the drivers missing/software separately.
