• Adobe QT32 Server.exe appears to hang

  Production Premium CS5 has always worked well for editing DV content. But I've just graduated to the AVCHD format (of and Olympus OM - D E - M5), and have problems with friction and could not be reliable export. The common denominator seems to be that when things go wrong, the "Adobe QT32 Server.exe" is chewing large amounts of CPU and never leaves. First blocks sometimes, sometimes it blocks just (do not) and I have to kill him.

  It's a pretty simple experience: I have about 35 minutes of clips. I have automate them to the timeline. Problem 1:

  • Most of the clips appear correctly in the timeline, with a vignette. But some simply display a green square. Some clips after the green square show also no thumbnail.
  • I don't think it's the source material. Often, the problem appears in the clips of same. But sometimes not. I put clips in their own timeline, and they display properly. All clips of play fine in the Source window.
  • I tried with the reading mercury on or off. No effect.

  Problem 2:

  • Scrub works well for a while, then stops. Wait a minute and cleanup works again. "Adobe QT32 Server.exe" is chewing 13% or more of CPU.
  • If I close or kill the creation, the rest server running, and I need to kill him.
  • Clips with green tiles are no different than the others, during the treatment.

  Problem 3, export via the media coder:

  • Thin long chugs, for 5-10 minutes. Then the preview window turns green. A few minutes later, the export fails with "unknown error."
  • It is completely random. I looked to determine where the problem begins, then divide the timeline before the problem. Try again with the new, shorter timeline, and it hangs in a different place.

  The machine is a i7-960 with 24G of RAM and a Nvidia GeForce Ti 560. Lots of RAM and CPU. Multiple disks, but no RAID. I tried to move the cache of media to SSD - no change.

  As I say, I turned the mercury on/off switch, without effect.

  I have completely written off, uninstalled, rebooted the computer, reinstalled, re-recorded CS5. No effect.

  Although this camera records in H.264 format, is not AVCHD, which is a very specific subset of the H.264 specification.  In addition, he recorded H.264 MOV files, which forces Pr to use its own Quicktime importer in a 64-bit environment.  QuickTime from Apple is always 32-bit that's why Adobe have come with their own importer of 64 - bit for some QT codecs.  NB: I assume that you are running Windows 7 64 - bit based on clues you have left in your post, but you did not.  If you use another operating system, so my advice may change.

  Try changing the file to .mov .mp4 files extension.  You might be able to get Pr use its H.264 importer rather than import it Quicktime, which should give you better results.

  I have the first 10 Elements on win7 (64). Using instant film, I get an error message 5 d 0: adobe QT32 Server.exe - No. Disk, there is no disk in the drive. Insert a disc into drive D:'.   D drive on my computer is one of the slots of the card reader. This appears as a process in the task manager that can be killed.   Any thoughts welcome

  Have you installed the functional extra content, which includes themes/Instant films, titles and models of DVD?

  1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

  This seems to be an infection by the virus on the computer. I suggest you analyze your computer to make sure that the computer is virus-free. You can do the scan for viruses in normal mode and check if that helps.

  Method 1.

  About 4-5 weeks ago I started having these very
  error messages intermittently on two different systems.
  Always on the launch of Pr or en and never in Ae.

  A system is running QuickTime7.6.9, the other 7.6.6.
  All other relevant software are identically configured.

  There seems to be no rhyme or reason to
  the schedule of when the error messages appear.
  Curiously, when this error, should always
  by clicking on 'ok' six times straight, but it does not seem

  Avid DNxHD QuickTime codecs THE 2.3.4 I had recently installed
  on both systems.  The installation includes these codecs six QT for Pr:

  Regardless of the question of if the error message has been deleted
  six times at the start of the program, all the Avid codecs stay

  Hello Joe, do not know if you got a solution already, but I also came across this situation. There are 2 files you need to copy several files of program CS5. The 2 files to be copied are msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll and they are located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS5. Copy these files into your files Adobe Media Encoder CS5 and Adobe first Pro CS5 and your error messages should disappear. Hope that helps.

• How to register ActiveX exe server for all users

  I'm aware that with newer versions of the CVI and Windows when you generate an ActiveX exe server, it records only the server for the user profile.  I read one white papers OR who said that computer administrator may register the server for all users.  I am an administrator for the development of PC we use.  I went to the command and he ran as the administrator of the PC.  I then navigate to the path of the exe.  I published the regserver command.  Unfortunately, I am unable to distinguish if the server exe was registered for all users or if it combined again to my user profile.  Our server exe is called by another program of the CVI.  To validate if the server exe had been registered for all users, I had a user who had not built server exe on the development PC connection and try to start the server within its own CVI program exe.  When this has been attempted, the user receives an error "class not registered".  The user was not able to successfully launch the exe of the server until it has built on the PC itself.  It does not appear that the administrator regserver command worked to save the exe file of the server for all users.  Is anyone aware of any steps that I may have missed?

  I would like to eventually integrate remote TestStand EXE Server on the operating system for our systems for purposes of remote control and testing during manufacturing and field service processes.

  In my view, that Steven misunderstood your question, because you were making reference to the remote server EXE and not executing a sequence on the remote system.  You are free to install Remote Server EXE on any computer you want without obtaining an additional license.  Server remote EXE will allow you to call any executable (or open a file as specified by your operating system from TestStand 4.2) on this machine.  You must have a valid license on the computer that initiates the remote call and TestStand, but you are free to copy remote server EXE on remote machines as much as you want under your current license.

  I try to acess manually the worker compilation .exe file and it says that the installation of xilinx tool should be checked. and that it could not load a file. (SEE ATTACHMENT)

  I read that xilinx has no full support for WIN 7 not yet. and seen on their website too. But I do not see other ppl with a few problems on the server for compilation with WIN 7 OS, but seems to have solved the problem (although not similar to mine). Which means they made it work somehow. (xilinx Web site says also that he has LIMITED support for win 7)

  I'm really stuck here. I'm still in my learning and (just trying to compile the tutorial VI!) and I don't want to waste time. I feel really stuck here. any help would be great!

  Ok. I think I got it. I've reset my network connection and asked to labview to compile. could not connect to compile the server. While crossing retry to connect, I launched the server compile manually, by clicking on the compilation server.exe and then done labview link. I guess I have overlooked some instruction somewhere that compile server.exe must be launched before making an attempt on the compilation.

• CS6 Dyamiclinkmanager.exe and QuickTime issues

  First of all, I'm on a Windows 7 service pack 1 i7 machine - 4930 k 3.4 GHz with 32 GB of RAM. Motherboard is an ASUS P9X79LE. GPU is a Nvidia GTX 770. I just installed QuickTime 7.7.5.

  I recently installed Production Premium CS6. I used successfully in Production Premium CS5 on the same machine but with a processor and different motherboard: ASUS P6T and i7 - 960.

  In any case, I installed CS6. Tried to open the first, but the program would always hang up when it reaches 'export quicktime host.'

  AE would hang up on "the media kernel initialization."

  Still would hang up on "load the quicktime importer".

  1. to answer the first question, here is what I tried:

  (a) according to the directions from an Adobe support page, I allowed connections in my firewall for:

  AfterFX.exe

  Adobe QT32 Server.exe

  dynamiclinkmanager.exe

  PProHeadless.exe

  This had no effect.

  (b) I then moved the file Adobe QT32 Server.exe from the '32' folder in another folder. First then loaded correctly.

  2. given that (b) has worked for the first, I tried the same technique with the files of the QT32 Server.exe '32' files in AE and still.

  Yet now load properly. BUT after AE loading I get a message saying that QuickTime is not installed on the system. QT turns out to be problematic. Not only if it is not recognized by the EA, but I can't open QT. For some reason, it seems incompatible with my Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1. I changed the compatibility settings for QT for XP Service Pack 2 and open-source software when I clicked on the icon. However, QT is not always recognized by AE.

  Note: I found above in my investigations than when I ended the dynamiclinkmanager.exe * 32 process, each of the programs opens.

  So:

  Any suggestions on how to get the AE recognize QT?

  Ends the process of dynamiclinkmanager.exe a good idea? This will disable dynamic links for first and AE?

  I start to pine for my old days of CS5, when everything worked well. Thank you.

  I just wanted to give more to let you know that I ended up doing a reinstall of my OS. Now everything works fine.

  The PC came with this card is installed and the software it is WinTV7.

  When I try to open the program nothing happens. I tried the "restart TV Server.exe but it says it can not be started."

  I downloaded the latest version of the software to Support HP, sp61860 and WinTV7 Hauppauge software.

  I don't have a CD when I try to install WINTV7 software it says that I need the CD that came with the TV tuner, as it was preinstalled.

  Good day all! I was a user of BB from 2001 to 2008 and returned.

  I'm trying to implement BBPE 4.60 on a Win 2 K 8 R2 Standard Server via IIS7. The Server EXE installation goes smoothly and without error. He built the bb virtual directory in IIS. You are able to load the initial page (http:///bb). However, when you go to click on an object monitored for additional information, the browser wants to download the EXE called (i.e. hostsvc.exe) rather than run it as a CGI script.
