P6-2375ea: card WinTV TV 155559 LF

The PC came with this card is installed and the software it is WinTV7.

When I try to open the program nothing happens. I tried the "restart TV Server.exe but it says it can not be started."

I downloaded the latest version of the software to Support HP, sp61860 and WinTV7 Hauppauge software.

I don't have a CD when I try to install WINTV7 software it says that I need the CD that came with the TV tuner, as it was preinstalled.

The TV card number is 155559 PMQ, when I look in Device Manager, it says he's a "WinTV Ministick OEM" I think that you need a special card for HP?

Any suggestion on how to solve this problem appreciated.

Hello @rod8661,

I read your post about how you are not able to use your software WinTV7 on your desktop computer, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

To ensure that your software WinTV7 works properly, I recommend reinstalling the drivers software and hardware original first supplied with your computer. This can be done by following the steps described in this document on the use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8). To update the software newly installed, please follow this resource using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8).

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

    I have a hp pavilion 1170 uk Office http://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c03023321

the black cable of the wintv card came loose from the motherboard. It is a 4 pin connector. I can't for the life of me see where it connects to the Board of Directors.

    can anyone help?

Yes.  This looks like a USB connector.  Looking at your link, and then on the motherboard page support page - port USB headers are at the bottom of the card mother and labeled F_USB1, F_USB2 or F_USB3.  The "strong" part of the form passes over the location of the empty spindle to align the other four pins to the correct location.

  • HP Media Center m8200n won't find card WinTv

OS Win 7 64 - bit, 8 GB of ram, nVidia 610 card with 2 GB of ram, 1800 WinTv card went out got another card and replaced by the Win TV 1850. Tried to install the driver disc supplied but the result is a message that says: there is no device found. What to do to fix this problem.

Update: it turns out that the slots on the motherboard was bad. Replace the motherboard with the same type and this has solved the problem with WinTV cards does not. Now don't seem to be able to get the IR receiver to work. I loaded the last disk and windows has always said that there is a problem with the drivers. Hauppauge contacted on the issue. I think that the receiver itself may be bad. Thanks for all the help that has been published. It help me to identify the problem.

Looks like maybe the slot of PCIx1 has failed and it could also be that the original card Win TV may not be gone, if the housing has failed.  Inspect the area around the slot to see if all observable bad connections exist. Also inspect the contact surface in the slot with a magnifying glass.  A problem like this is not unheard of but is rare.

Ask in Hauppauge.  It is a hardware problem - not the software and not a Microsoft product.  Your best support comes from those who did and therefore take over the product.

I recently tried to install a TV (Hauppauge 1200) card in my office, I tried in two different locations, it was not detected by the computer.

Is it possible the slots do not work, or is there another problem.

The card works in my old hp Windows vista desktop.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello @abeavi,

I understand that you are having problems, install your Tuner TV WinTV - HVR - 1200 MC PCI - Express on your desktop PC HP ENVY Phoenix 810-210nj running 8.1 for Windows 64 - bit. According to WinTV Media Center Kit Quick Installation Guide for Windows Vista Home Premium and Vista Ultimate, this card is made specifically for Windows Vista, and I doubt that Windows 8.1 will know that it is there.

If you need additional support on this map I recommend you to contact Hauppauge.

Original title: Hi everyone__hope you can help me___

When I opened MCE watching television he says video card or driver is not compatible with media Center

I can't find the driver for it

and do not have a video card that I know

    can someone help thaks

    Thanks for the info, rabjhop.
As I suspected, the weak link is your graphics card integrated - GMA910GL of Intel is not enough juice (nor has it required WDDM WHQL certified drivers) to properly support DirectX (or a few other things) entirely in hardware (not on Vista or Win7.)  Even the GMA950 chip had problems in Media Center (go all the way back to Media Center 2005); the minimum that worked really really - still - is the GMA x 3000.
In other words, you need a graphics card.  But you don't have to spend a lot of money - a PCIe card decent (assuming you have a PCIe x 16 location) can be made for<>

I have not assumed that you could pop the cover off the PC and see what (if any) you have at disposal a graphic slot, could you?
    Here's what you're looking for:
PCI Express: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PCIExpress.jpg see the long slots?  Those who are 16 x.  No the difference (you can tell by the location of the key in the notch) to what follows.
    AGP slot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:AGP_slot.jpg
In the two photos, the mount is on your left.

    Kind regards
    Chris

  • Capture TV programs via the cable using the cable box and card Hauppauge

I was doing fine record TV unencripted signal until comcast sent me a box of small encriptación. I have no problem with the help of the box to see the TV programs on a TV, but I can't get the Huappauge card to recognize the signal from the comcast box. I recognize the signal (without going through the box) an antenna that I decked out, but I can't work with the IR signal from the box that changes channels.  I have the cable extension IR remote with comcast box and also have an extension remote IR provided with the computer/hauppauge card.  It doesn't seem to be an outlet on the map, but there are three locations on the computer that are identified as IR Device Manager lists a Hauppauge Comsumer s infrared receiver and an infrared transceiver Microsoft e-Home installed without any indication of error.

How can I get all those guys to play as a team, so I can schedule recording of TV programs again?

    CheckSix

    Photoray002;

The Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1290 sends finally channel change commands TV Comcast decoder box and it is now possible to program the recorder.  I think that the main problems were a failure remote control Hauppauge and a very low external receiver.  It could also have been a few taken IR on the computer that could have internal corrosion of three years of inactivity.

I found two sites that have helped significantly:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01744910

This site showed that the jury of IR extension on the back of the computer could be one of two different configurations - with and without electronics on the expansion card.  He had to open the case to determine where the design has been installed.  Mine was no electronics, but the indications I had followed guess an electronic sign.

    http://www.Hauppauge.com/site/support/support_faq_irblaster.html

This site goes into detail about the implementation of the system using a set-top box.  I couldn't always installation to work because the statement strongly relied on the Hauppauge remote control.  But I noticed in the comments to the screen, another way to use the keyboard rather than the Hauppauge remote control.  Better easier to identify the box system is the first option.  The program will redirect you to point the remote very close to Comcast (touch) to the external IR receiver and press a particular key.  If the receiver receives the signal, it will be a very small red light flashes in the receiver. You may need to move the remote to the receiver to get this light. Once the box is identified the process of implementation of the signal is simple although there will be a lot of channels identified.  You can uncheck the channels that you don't want or you can deselect all channels and the select only the channels you want.

Thank you for your help. He made me go in the right direction.

  • Which TV Tuner/Capture card?

    Hi people.
Here is my Config to the computer.

    Intel Core i7 920
    Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
    Corsair 6GB @1333

    Tagan BZ 800W PSU
    Sunbeamtech RTC 120
    XFX Nvidia GTX260
    Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150
    Seagate 1.5 TB * 2 + 1 TB HARD drive
    Vista 64-bit
NAGRAVISION NAC - 510i STB (Set top box)

What I need to know, is what card TV Tuner/Capture internal should I go for as the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 does not work well beyond 4 GB of RAM. To use it, so I need to limit my RAM less than 4 GB.
The quality is good enough to view and capture. But I don't want to use the work around or reduce my RAM.

Please suggest me a good internal TV Tuner/Capture card that works with my PC config and allow good capture. I also intend to upgrade to Windows 7

    Current models available in India:
Hauppauge WinTV USB2-Stick TV TUNER CARD
    Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1100 internal

    Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-350 TV Tuner card
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 MCE TV Tuner card
Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 MCE Kit - OEM

Note: I have a Coolermaster CM690(Mid-tower) because of who I am able to use only one PCI and one PCI-E slot. I need a PCI card. Or external case.

PS. : I can try and a delivery from newegg or amazon to my country

It's really a personal preference type of question.  You might consider contacting the manufacturer is to see the compatibility of Windows 7 is going to be.  Regarding delivery to your country it is a question to ask the retailer you are dealing with. Locutys of Borg

  • TV Tuner card-is not able to implement the software.

I have a HP m7747c Computer Media Center running Windows 7 (Vista upgrade) Home Premium.  It is several years old and I had to format the drive to reinstall Windows 7.  I have a Hauppauge HVR-1600 TV tuner that worked well before reinstallation of the card.  Now when I try to install Media Center once again, I said I need to insert the original of the tuner card installation CD.  I did receive an installation with the computer disc when I bought it.  Anyone know how to get around this problem.  I checked on the Hauppauge site and they show only driver and software updates.  I connected to Comcast's digital cable system using a decoder.  I have a feeling I'll have other problems once I have go of it, but it is another matter.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FaceTime is forbidden by the law in Saudi Arabia and the UNITED Arab Emirates and is removed from iPhones sold in other countries of the Middle East, if they are used outside the country where they were originally sold. If you plan to use an iPhone outside the Middle East, then don't buy it in the Middle East. The one you bought there FaceTime was illegally imported from another region and sold it.
