victory fo Protocol IPX 7

How do you get the ipx protocol installed on win 7. (the games will not play without ipx Protocol)

If I can't do the Protocol ipx I have to return the 2 computers I bought and just keep my old with xp. Children refuse to use computers in win 7. I want to update all my computers, but I use ipx to my local network. Can't believe that Microsoft did not. I may spend all apple computers.

Hello

Win 7 does not support IPX.

If the game is not in solid 3D feature and can run on an old S3 video card, you can use Win 7 XP Mode (XP mode emulate the S3 video card).

Agile Win 7 computer with large capacity memory can run well many old games in Win XP Mode.

  • Direct transfer of files from Windows 7 to XP computer

Ok.  So I tried to create a connection with my computer roommate, to drag Warcraft 3 on his pc (I lost my disks and keys).  Then, we will try to play over a local network (most likely hamachi).  We have been problem after problem trying to get two computers to share information between them.

before that we tried to play starcraft together, (which did not work.)

First of all, we couldn't form a protocol ipx, because windows 7 will not let me?

Second, we tried to connect the pc to use a dsl line physically, but computers were not communicating. (if there are a few steps that I forgot to take, I need to know.

Thirdly, we tried hamachi, but even once, he left him no browse my pc.

How hell I have will manage to obtain a program from my computer laptop windows 7 on his computer XP?

  • Company Setup 600 m602n IPX/SPX

    Good day all

My organization has recently bought a number of hp laserjet enterprise 600 m602n printers to replace an aging fleet of 4000 series connected to external jetdirect cards printers. Printers being replaced will receive the offers by IPv4 of TCP/IP and IPX/SPX. Page 62 of the manual says m602n what IPX/SPX is a supported network protocol. Page 147 says "HP embedded Web server does not support the IPX connections based on the products." My problem is that if it's a network taken protocol supported how to configure it? I don't see anything in the Web server that is to be expected of the verbage page 147, but I see no way to do so goes through the menu controls before or via TELNET. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thank you

According to HP Business Support the notation that it is a protocol to support network in the user manual is a typo. He can't stand not directly IPX/SPX.

  • Internet speed to use the Protocol 'ac '...

How long should my internet connection be to use "ac" from my new iPad (Air 2, 128 gb)? It will be the last (official) version of iOS. My current wireless modem supports all protocols except 'ac '.

First of all you need a WiFi modem that supports 802.11ac

    Read here:

IEEE 802.11ac is a wireless network standard family 802.11 (which is marketed under the brand name Wi-Fi), developed in the process of The IEEE Standards Association ,[1] offers broadband wireless local network (WLAN) on the 5 GHz band. [1] the standard has been developed from 2011 to 2013 and approved in January 2014. [1] [2]

The specification a multi-station to at least 1 gigabit per second flow and throughput of single link of at least 500 megabits per second (500 Mbps). This is accomplished by extending the air interface concepts embraced by 802.11n: RF more bandwidth (up to 160 MHz), more spatial stream MIMO (up to eight), downlink multiuser MIMO (up to four clients) and modulation high density (up to 256-QAM). • How to prevent the FF loading all Web sites using the HTTPS protocol

FF is trying to load initially all Web sites using the HTTPS protocol, including of mozilla.org. Then I get the error of no reliable connection of course. Mozilla .org is the "invalid security certificate" and "the issuer of the certificate is unknown." I tried to delete the file cert8.db as suggested elsewhere but that did not help. If there is an option for this somewhere, I can't find it. I have the latest version of FF and Win7 running. Thanks for the help.

There must be some sites that are still using a secure connection, as http://www.amazon.com/. If even a link to Amazon is redirected, you can check if you have an extension like HTTPS Everywhere.

For Mozilla sites, Yes, you establish a secure connection.

But you shouldn't get certificate errors! When you get this for virtually all secure sites, the problem is usually as follows:

    (1) error of date, time, or time zone who throw checks validity of the certificates of your system. Sometimes allowing to use a timesource on the internet, the computers can introduce this problem.

    (2) not be set up to work with your security software that intercepts and filter secure connections from Firefox. Products with this feature include Avast, BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky; AVG has a shield search function which can cause this error on search sites.

    (3) malicious software on your system for the interception of secure connections.

    So... who is?

If you have any of these specific security products, which would be the first thing to check. We might be able to help with specific next steps based on what you have if you tell us.

Alternatively, you can examine the certificate to which Firefox is opposed to see if the issuer information pointing to the culprit. Take for example my test page:

    https://jeffersonscher.com/RES/jstest.php

You should see a section "I understand the risks" in the page. If you expand this section, you will find a button Add Exception. You don't need to complete the process of adding an exception (I suggest not adding one until we know that it is not a problem of malware), but you can use the dialog box to display the information that makes Firefox suspicious.

Click Add an Exception, and then view. If the view is not enabled, try first the button get certificate. Then in the certificate Viewer, refer to the section "issued by". What do you find here, or under the hierarchy of certificates? I have attached a screenshot for comparison of screen.

  • A Web site that I use States: this agency will support is no longer using the Protocol of internet security TLS 1.0 or 1.1 - how to change this with Firefox?

I use a site that now has the following statement:

Safety notice: as part of our ongoing efforts to improve security, this agency will be no longer support the use of the internet security TLS 1.0 protocol effective August 1. In addition, we will also stop the support for the Security Protocol Internet TLS 1.1 on 1 September. This means you must update your browser to use this site. For any questions about the update, please consult your browser provider.

    How do I change this?

Unless your Firefox settings have been changed, Firefox is ready for sites that use TLS 1.2, the latest version of the SSL protocol.

For example, if you click on the Green padlock on this site, so more information, the bottom of the Panel security in the Page Info dialog box should show that the page was encrypted using TLS 1.2. I have attached a screenshot showing where to find this information.

Can you confirm that this works?

  • How to find the security protocol used by a site in firefox to version 24.6.0

I'm unable to find the security protocol used by the site, either SSL or TLS 1.0 or 1.2.

I see my answer above is marked as useless, so I guess it doesn't help for Firefox 24.

You should be able to see which version of the TLS Protocol and encryption to agree to the current use of press.
You can use the above posted extension or check in the Security tab of the Web Console (Firefox/tools > Web Developer).
24 Firefox supports only TLS 1.0 (security.tls.version.max = 1), so that only leaves you with Protocol to guess.

In Firefox 24 you have the Security tab in "tools > Page Info > Security" to see what level of encryption is used, and you do not see what costume of encryption is used.
To find you would have to disable any combination of encryption algorithm by setting the Pref security.ssls false and allow both until you get a secure connection.

  • Does not save the Config parameter: Network.protocol - handler.expose.file

    In "subject: config" I put
    Network.protocol - handler.expose.file = false
in order to open the files and folders in external applications, and not in FF.
But when Firefox closes it removes this setting of prefs.js
When Firefox starts and it is WRONG in prefs.js then it sets it to true.
    How can I curcumvent that?
I want to keep it FALSE.
    Thank you.

27 FF and don't offer me to Australis.

I found the solution: the value "noscript.fixURI" = false (in "subject: config" or in prefs.js).

  • Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (javscript) is not associated with any program.

This is the error I get when I try to send an eCard from 123Greetings.com (for example) via the FACEBOOK button. Now, I also noticed that lately I can't sign in through Facebook Web sites (like when a Web site you give a choice to connect or click on the Facebook button to log in via Facebook...) nothing happens. It simply doesn't get it. The only thing I've done recently is cleared my cache and cookies. I found this same issue ARCHIVED on this site and I followed the instructions given to this person, what was going on about: config and check that Javascript is enabled (on) and that "Network.protocol - handler.external.javascript" is wrong (and it is). So I don't know what to do apart from that. Please help me!

It's just that I add on 'Disconnect' and which was when I started to have problems! So immediately, I went and disabled and it fixed it! Thanks a lot for your quick response! I'm so happy that this particular problem is fixed! YAHOOO!

  • Can not registred new Internet Protocol

I have last 26.0 Firefox for linux.
I tried to register the new Protocol (rdp) as mentioned in the
    http://KB.mozillazine.org/Register_protocol
but I still get the page
Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (rdp) is not associated with any program.

He should ask what program I want to use it, but it never happened.
Firefox is clean, I tried - safe mode and delete the profile... nothing worked.

    If final result and recap.

I tried to register the new Protocol (thunderlink, rdp, etc.) and I was looking at him with web workflowy todo list. I think that workflowy javascript opens links in a new tab, just as when you open the new tab and paste the URL in there. But it will never trigger selection of apps (even when you have Network.protocol - handler.expose.protocol = false).

I think that should be seen as a firefox bug.

I used woraround - see advice from cor - el - created the html file with the new hyperlink in Protocol, click on it and the popup selection appears.

After that, all clicks (even in workflowy) open the right application that I wanted to.
