    Hello CJB27,

Welcome to the Forums of HP consumer printer.

Maybe it's that the black ink is not used at all (the color ink is to 'create' black). To test this, you'll want to print a diagnostic page by:

Press and hold (power button), press (cancel) button seven
time, press (curriculum vitae) twice and release (power button).

Once you have printing, see the following article for troubleshooting (this article is for the K7000 series, but it works well enough for this problem):

  • How can I get rid of the black box around the exported video?

I am importing video recorded with OBS in resolution 1920 x 1080. Watch the video, it seems fine. But once I run the video in Adobe first Elements 9, when I export it as a file .m2t in resolution 1920 x 1080, it has a thick black box around the video. The video source is in .mp4 format. Can someone help here?

Versions prior to version 11 of Premiere Elements must have their projects manually configured to match the source media.

Start a new project, in the project Panel, click settings and select project settings that correspond to your video specifications. This can be difficult because you are not editing video camcorder but the video which is produced by a third-party software. You will probably need open a sample of this video G Spot or Media Info in order to get the exact resolution, the frame rate and audio and video codecs that are in use - and, in the Premiere Elements 9 version, these codecs are not fully supported.

You can try the free download of version 13 and see if it works better with your video. Earlier versions of the software were much greater with sources video camcorder and non-standard.

  • Black border around all the images from my video.

I'm new to the forum here and am struggling to find an answer to my problem and I was wondering if someone could help me. I use elements adobe first 9 create a photo slideshow.  I have about 90 photos, with several of them and audio text throughout all this.  I don't know very well this program, I used it once to make a video.  When it's over, I burn it to a dvd.  The problem I have is that when I burn it to a dvd and play in my dvd player, the photos are of size reduced and there is a black border around them (all 4 sides).  Do you know what I can do to make it go away?  The last video I had not so I'm not sure what I did with this one.  And I tried to compress images and it changed nothing.

    Thank you very much!

    Alisha

    Lish8,

If some of the stills are smaller than the size of the frame of the project, you will want to either their scale exactly, if required for the extensions to match, or you want to use the default size of the image scale, but take note: scale to the size of the picture by default dimensionnera only the size of fist to the rider, so if the Ratio of Aspect is off say that Images are in 16:9 and image of the project size is 4:3, you'll still have a few black bars.

If the Images are close, I would say that you are using the fixed effect > Motion > scale, to increase the scale, so that the scope of the draft framework is filled on all sides. It will be actually reframe the view of the stills to the Aspect Ratio of the size of the image of the project. If you don't harvest like that effective, simply adjust the fixed effect > Motion > Position, to get a better harvest.

The holds of same for still Images, which are a bit larger - I would manually scaling those to match the project frame size.

That's why Steve recommends a slightly larger Image, that the size of the frame of the project - it gives you a bit of room for manoeuvre, in the final scale and Position.

    Good luck

  • Black border around video. PE8

    Hello!

I use on my laptop Win 8 components 8. And recently, I always have a black border around the video. I don't know what I should change to get rid of this settings, but I've looked everywhere. Can you please help?

The black borders are caused by a mismatch between your video and Preset of your project.

Can you give us all the details of these videos, such as where they came from, the size of the image, the CODEC used, etc. and then the project preset that you chose for the new project?

Also, see this article for more details: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3797172#3797172

There is no problem of reading about the cropping, just crops as much as you need to remove the pesky black borders around the video, there is nothing worse then that when I look at online video content.

    Beash19,
The first thing to do, if you have not already, is to update your video card driver.  Once this is done, if the problem persists, contact the manufacturer of game for a possible fix or the update of the game.  If this is the only program that he comes up with seems so they need provide a type of update. • How can I get rid of the black border around my screen?

After an update, my screen resolution changed for no reason. Tried to change, but now I have a black border around my screen that I can't get rid of.

    Hello

Windows Update will sometimes offer you updates of graphics drivers; NEVER accept them.

Only go graphics drivers of your computer or the manufacturer of the graphics Web site map.

Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.

Then try to change the screen resolution.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Here is the information on the Windows updates.

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

    'Remove an update'

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/remove-an-update

When you have found the issue of update of the list of updates which is presented > then right click on the update problem > select Hide update > and it will not be available to you once again

"How to hide or show an update of Windows Vista"

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/72491-Windows-Update.html

Here's how to chanage update settings, if you think it is necessary to:

"Understanding Windows Update and Extras in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/Windows-Vista-updates-and-extras/

    Or the other of these two update settings will give you the chance to see what you want to install through Windows updates;

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

But remember you normally only have problems with hardware 3rd party drivers. Other updates are to improve the Performance and security of your system

    See you soon.

  • Underscale Inspiron 7547 question - please help! -1080 not filling don't see not all - black

    Hi all

I recently bought a Dell 7547 - i7-4510u with just the integrated graphics intel hd 4400.

    • Got laptop with Windows 8.1 and decided to switch to Windows 10.

After the update, the screen fills only about 95% of the area of the screen, leaving black bars around the perimeter of the screen.

    • Bar low is thicker that the top, L/R look bars width equal
    • I tried updating the video driver here using the windows 10 verision, still no luck

    • Tinkered with each menu windows associated with the scaling and resolution and the intel hd Control Panel, nothing.
      • "Graduation" of Windows change just a few sizes the same overall area of the screen that is already running.
      • Intel won't let me not disable the scaling on the 1920 x 1080 option, but on lower resolutions with "scale full screen" enabled, stretching only goes to the same 'edges' also.
    • Finally, I got fed up and used the recovery option for restoring factory Windows 8.1 and hours later, finally finished, the same problem persists
    • Also tried to uninstall the video driver, and then reinstall the version 8.1 of Windows on the same page of the above driver.

See photo attached, hard to say, but where you see the reflection of the flash on the camera on the edges is where the screen ends and the encounter of the bezel plastic, where the screen should be stretching to.

Thanks in advance for the answers you can provide.

It is a real headache. Suddenly, without apparent reason, my ST2421L monitor shows black bands around the image of the screen (regardless if it's the desktop computer or a browser or MS Word). Seriously, when I started to work in the morning, everything was normal. I blinked, and then there are black bars. I also went through the factory reset via the OSD menu, disconnected power to the monitor and its HDMI cable, etc.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have WIndows 7. My office used to demonstrate the sreen integralexecuterdes but now some re cropped images offshore or too small for the screen showing the black border around the image.

Are the part of the black edges of the Office that is can you put the mouse cursor or the icons in the black box, or the dark area "wasted space".

If the black box is "wasted space" around your office, then it is possible that you will need to adjust your monitor settings, etc., to fill the new image size screen.

If you can move things in black areas i.e. office is full screen but the image is not, then it may be the type of wallpaper in personalization, "position of the image.

    Right-click on your desktop.

    Click Customize

    down, click on "desktop background".

down is a drop down selection list called "position of the image.

It has options such as - Fill, Fit, Stretch, Tile and Center

Try each one in turn and see if it helps.

    If it is then

If this isn't the case, you have loaded new updates as new graphics drivers lately?
