  Suggestion of Udo is a little different from my second option and could be better. In your current configuration, you have two components - the listener of the APEX running on Glassfish application server and the database that runs your APEX applications. Udo adds a third component, a HTTP server, such as Apache, which is your portal to the applications.

  If you can do:

  the user's browser HTTP > Apache AJP or HTTP >-->APEX Listener on Glassfish Oracle Net firewall > Oracle database (Udo suggestion)
  OR
  the user's browser HTTP > APEX Listener on Glassfish Oracle Net > firewall --> Oracle database (my option 2)
  OR
  the user's browser HTTP >--> APEX Listener on Glassfish Oracle Net firewall > Oracle database (my option 1)

  The key is that the firewall must be configured to allow traffic that will pass through it.

  The advantage of my option 2 or Udo suggestion is that you only allow traffic from a particular server outside the firewall in a protocol specific to a server inside the firewall. Udo suggestion makes this server information less vulnerable on what is inside the firewall and can be more easily used to simple HTML pages. It also makes changes less to your current configuration.

  Only 2 ways that you can solve this problem.

  1. set up something like recaptcha ( http://www.google.com/recaptcha ) and say that the it Department you take reasonable measures to ensure the spam is reduced to the minimum.  And talk about them, there are things such as the anti-spam filters hardware like these of Barracuda ( http://www.barracudanetworks.com/ns/products/spam_overview.php ), which can also be used to reduce the spam in addition to the anti-spam software filters, which can also be installed.  If they have these in place already and are still worried, tell them they are being paranoid.

  2. do not send forms to an e-mail address.  Send to an administration Web page.  This would require setting up an administrative area and a database store applications and, yet, some measures of basic security for the appropriate data types are entered, and then you can respond through this type of system.

  Personally, I would recommend method 1.  There is no reason at this time, why there no moderate protection against spam and viruses.

  The 5 bytes of "user-defined information" are writable by anyone with access to the device through NOR-DAQmx.  In LabVIEW, you can write (and read) these bytes via the calibration information property node.  In the C interface, there is a corresponding attribute to write and read the same thing.  The rest of the EEPROM content cannot be changed by the calibration software and not can be written or read directly through NOR-DAQmx.

  1. The parameter ("2sample' in the example) is NULL, or when

  I started to see popups and redirects a few weeks ago. Since then, I've run many programs of malware and adware resolves, unsuccessfully. (ADWCleaner, Malwarebytes, Spybot, YAC, etc.) All cleaners are now back with a report of any problems. But I still have problems.
  I have reset Firefox... Same questions. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Same questions.
  I came across a forum post that describes a similar problem and the solution included opening of the user profile on Foxfire by topic: config and deleting suspicious files. I did and none appear suspicious. I'm reluctant to delete something I might need.
  A person can develop this solution and is there a way to compare what files I have that I should have, so anything suspicious can be identified?

  The extent of the "Comparing the files' in your profile against some kinds of standard profile goes, many extensions add files in the profile folder and files make up the profile can change that new versions of Firefox come out. How old is your current profile, you could have a dozen or more old, unused files. Which coupled with the wide variety of extensions available, makes it very difficult to make a comparison of files with accuracy in all.

  It could be useful that you can tell us exactly what URLs are loaded into popups and redirects. Someone here could recognize the 'source' or maybe see a pattern.

  Yes, that might work.  You can install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode, and then install Office 2002/2003 in the Virtual PC in Windows XP.  You can then run the Office 2002/2003 programs in Virtual PC, or close the Virtual PC and run them in Windows 7 from all programs > Windows Virtual PC > Windows XP Mode Applications .  You can even have Office 2007 programs and 2002/2003 open at the same time in Windows 7.   It is so annoying to have to change my folders in the list view, whenever I open them. How do I change so by default, all my files are presented to the list? I have no other views and want just all my folders in the list view at all times.

  You should be able to define a file / print this page as you like.

  Click on organize upper-left.

  Click on the folder and search options,

  Click on the view section on applied to the folders listed on top.

  Then click on apply and OK on the bottom.
