  The only thing you can do at this stage is to shut down your Mac. Then, after having turned it on again, hold down the ALT key until you see all available for your MacBook bootable disks, so you should see an option with a drive labeled as "Windows" USB icon Choose and let Windows install load, so you no longer have to follow the steps. Do not forget to keep the USB with Windows install is plugged.

  For some reason any crazy Mac Pro started to behave strangely yesterday such as dock to the basic configuration reset. So decided to use Time Machine to reinstall a version prior to the problem. But in the end the mac wouldn't start the usual screen, just a completely black screen with a cursor mobile?

  Eventially decided to reinstall a new os El Capitan instead, hoping it will solve the problem, BUT once again the black screen persists! AArrgh... need help! At an expeanced of another that at all? Is there a solution?

  I used the windows partition on my mac with bootcamp. Rather than turn off the laptop the right way, I decided to force quit by holding the power button, which is where I messed up. So the next time I tried to turn on my laptop that I was greeted with a black screen. The screen lights up but its black. IM panicking because that my 1 year warranty just ran and I have important files on the laptop. Also, I need to use it for work. I tried to start it in mode (shift) course, I tried the P + R shortcut, the reboot. EVERYTHING! Nothing helps. Now im just trying to keep it awake so the battery can discharge and perhaps that will solve the problem? Any suggestions besides go to apple?

  Unplug everything except KB/monitor / power and try to start with the command + R and press the Option key.

  If still problem dismantle the Mac and disconnect the internal disks and try again

  1 index.html with a video that plays first.

  2. after index.html I load on end of video game home.html.

  problem is here, before index.html load I use rim: splash in bb10

  After index.html, before home.html loading I get a black screen, because it takes time to load home.html as home.html as many sections and loading js files.

  How to avoid this black screen before loading my home.html.

  Same question.  I recently bought a new MacBook Pro & today is the first time I tried to watch a movie in iTunes.  Purchased or rented movies will play.  I, too, only have a black screen with only the controls (rewind, pause, reading, etc) visible.  No chapters listed, just the cover of the movie at the top + names of administrators.  Was on the phone with Apple Care for 2 hours and they could not understand.

  When the Senior Adviser, I was speaking with iTunes contacted for credit, told him they were aware of the problem and working on it.  He said that there is a problem with some Macs, but not other Apple devices.

  Strange that iTunes would have not contacted Apple Care technical support to let them know about the issue.  Also, before I spoke with the Chief Adviser, I was talking with someone else to Apple Care, who had also made contact with iTunes to try to resolve the problem by return the video rental for me and it has not been said on the issue.

  It was about 3 hours ago.

  Advise senior said that she would send me a mail with my # case and contact information so I could follow, but she didn't.  She took my phone #, so if all goes well, she will call to let me know when the problem is solved (not holding my breath however).

• Apple TV Airplay Black Screen and minimum display options

  I recently got an Apple TV (4) and when I activate Airplay, the HDTV shows just a black, when streaming to my iMac screen (end of 2013). The audio works well when the iMac iTunes app streaming, but not the screen. Airtime in my Apple menu options appear to be incomplete.

  AirPlay however works PERFECT on a new Mac Mini. I can see all the options you would normally see in the Apple menu and display preferences. Wifi networks are all the same.

  Furthermore, I recently deleted, Duo & display menu of my iMac but also completely disabled the firewall. After you remove the app and all the library files (that I could find), I closed my iMac. From the start I have reset the PRAM, just in case.

  Which party 3rd software are know because of conflicts with AirPlay? This seems to be the only logical cause of the black screen. I had, Menu display, Air Parrot, Duet, on previous machines there for years and I can have hidden conflict with AirPlay on the current iMac, I use library files.

  Here is the fix:

  1. open a Terminal in Applications/Utilities.

  2. run these commands respectively:

  sudo rm - rf /System/Library/Extensions/APExtFramebuffer.kext

  sudo rm - rf /System/Library/Extensions/AirParrotDriver.kext

  sudo rm - rf /Library/Extensions/APExtFramebuffer.kext

  sudo rm - rf /Library/Extensions/AirParrotDriver.kext

  This allows to uninstall the kernel extensions associated with AirParrot. Other solutions on the web are displayed are missing extensions in/Library/Extensions.

  3. Enter your administrative password when you are prompted.

  4 restart your computer.

  First, reset the SMC (System Management Controller) to fix the black screen at startup

  1. Stop the Mac and connect it to your MagSafe adapter and a wall outlet as usual.
  2. Press shift + command + Option + Power at the same time for a few seconds.
  3. Release all the keys at the same time, and then start the Mac as usual.
