VirtualCenter 2.5 U6, version number correct?

During the upgrade, I've seen in Help / about a 227637 build number.

I went to the download section of the VMware to check that it was the good construction, given that very few in U6 said actually U6.

Their site contains the number of build 227666.

Significant differences exist between these build numbers, should I worry?

VC seems to be behaving properly, it seems even a little faster than before.

Thank you, Tom

This is the correct version number for U6.  The other number is the number of build with all the other modules.

DVD ISO image is the installer which includes vCenter Server 2.5 update 6 (build 227637) and its sub-components (including VMware vCenter Update Manager (build 64005), VMware vCenter Converter (build 62417), VMware Infrastructure Client software, VMware and VMware Infrastructure WebAccess license server)

This problem occurs if the version of wmp.dll is at odds with what is defined in the Windows registry.

    Original title: MP3 Association.

    Hello

    Hello

I have 64 Ultimate, I had a problem with the version number of WMPLOC. DLL, see the attachment. I run Kaspersky AV completely up to date.
There is a lot of info on the net and none have worked in this newsgroup on how to fix this error however.

I tried to change the version of the file with resource hacker and I tried all the dos commands to save the version of the file, but it worked only partially.

I to WMP do not have access to the list of start/programs, don't y at - it programs in one and the list of features "Turn Windows features on or off", my desktop shortcut has been for version 32 bit and who made the error, as did double click an MP3 file.

I have 32 and 64 bit versions of WMP on my PC, I created a shortcut on the desktop for the 64 bit version and it works however I can't associate MP3s with the 64-bit version, dialogue 'Open with' reverts to the 32-bit version (and I get the error) even if I chose the wmplayer.exe in 64-bit file , I tried to rename the folder WMP 32 bit for windows does not find the exe file in this folder and it uses just Quicktime for the association.

Y at - it a fix for this problem of association?

    Thank you

    Daniel

I guess you need go to the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer as well for this. There should be a shortcut to this version in the Menu start - all programs. Tim Baets

  • Version number of RAD image

I use RAD to create an image of a cRIO. I chose to create a new version of an existing image. My new version number was 1.0.3. I had an error in the path of one of the names of files, so the recovery did not work properly, and no image has been created. When I corrected the error, the previos version number (1.0.3) was no longer available (try to use gave an error) and I had to go with a new version number (I chose 1.0.4). Is it possible to reuse the earlier version number? I tried to quit and restart RAD, without result.

  • Error code the Wmplayer.exe file has a Version number of 11.0.5721.5262 where was 11.0.5721.5145

No sound in Windows.  Message from the file Wmplayer.exe has a Version number of 11.0.5721.5262 where 11.0.5721.5145 was expected.  Windows Media Player is not installed correctly and must be reinstalled.  This happened for no apparent reason.  Tried to install WMPlayer 11 Web site created for and still get the same message.   Help please?

    Hi AnnieT2053,

Although the error message prompts you to reinstall the Windows Media Player, reinstalling does not necessarily fix the problem. Generally, the error message appears again when you try to launch Windows Media player after reinstallation.

Method 1: To resolve the problem, perform the following steps:

    a. go to Start , then click run.

    b. type following command in the Open box and then press enter:

    c:\windows\inf\unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMP

The steps above resolve the confusion that your computer has been with the version numbers of Windows Media Player, and then corrects the error.

Method 2: Try the SFC (System File Checker) scan on the computer.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

    a. click Startand type cmd in the box start the search.

    b. right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click run as administrator.

    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue

    d. at the command prompts, the following line and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

When I click on Yes to the question, the web page, that I have has no option to download WMP for Vista.

How can I solve this problem?  To help guests or you can provide answers.

Here are simple instructions from Microsoft Support:

    On Windows Vista:

    1. Reboot your system.
    2. Open cmd.exe as an administrator by selecting Start Programs/Accessories.
    3. Right-click on command prompt and choose Run as administrator.
    4. Type in
      Unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMPVersion
    5. Press ENTER.

If this does not help, please report back. I have another method that involves editing the registry.

  • wmploc.dll version number 11.0.6.002.18111

I can't use the player windows media with my Vista system home premium.  The following message appears: the file wmploc.dll has the version number of 11.0.6002.18111 where 11.0.6002.18065 was expected. Windows media player is not installed correctly and must be reinstalled.

Windows media player is installed with Vista system and cannot be reinstalled.  I've used the process of sfc/scannow.  That solved the problem, but it creates another problem with the installation of Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5.SP1.  Therefore, I used the restore function and reset the system again.  3.5.SP1 Microsoft Framework now works again, but windows media player does not even now.

According to what is easier to fix, it seems that I can try to solve the problem of windows media player or try to solve the problem of Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5.SP1.

If possible, I would like to address the problem of the player window media only. I tried to use the suggestion with the command prompt. Unregmp2.exe/updatewmpversion.  It does not work.

  • Form of 12.2.1.0, no explanation version number?

Several years ago I learned that the OAS/FMW product version number is composed as follows:

    • Major version number
    • Maintenance of database version number
    • Version number of Maintenance FMW
    • Specific component version number
    • Platform specific version number

Thus 11.1.1.7.0 meant: Major Release = 11, update of database products (SQL * NET client, database repository of metadata...) = 1, update corrective = 1 FMW, FMW specific version = 7, number Number of specific version of platform = 0

The new version of the forms/States is 12.2.1.0, which would mean that the version of db products built that release is 12.2, yet the largest number of current version of Oracle DB is 12.1.

Does anyone have an explanation why the version number is 12.2.1.0 instead of 12.1.1.0?

    Kind regards
