Vista freezes and boots when he feels like it!

Hello

I had the same problem for months and I am close to baldness. It's like dealing with a tempremental child!

My computer details are:-

I had this barely used on EBAY.

Acer Aspire M1640

Windows Vista Edition home premium (OEM)

Version 6.0 Service pack 2.

Intel Pentium (r) dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz

NVIDIA Geforce 7050 / Nvidia nForce 620i

2.00 GB OF RAM

32-bit operating system.

After turning off the PC normally then restart, sometimes it crashes to the scroll to green charge bar which means I have to turn off the PC via the power switch. It can happen maybe 7 times in a row after having supported on enter the (Windows cannot start it will take to repair screen etc etc) whenever it freezes on the Green scroll bar.

Try first to other times that we hours of trying for 3 days normally, then it will be all a system restore.

The journal is always a hard drive error. 1 origin, something may have changed in the system config which may have caused the error.

I tried

1 memory not stick both no chance.

I changed the battery MB.

Take the hard drive in and out.

Almost all the little tips and tricks that people mentioned anywhere on the internet, when people have similar problems.

May not be the material such that it is practically new, I don't have much of _ on this, I like to keep it clean and running safely as I can.

This is why it makes no sense.

I installed the updates for a while, then stopped just in case it was that it was operating so I started again the updates.

I am at a loss to what it could be.

I had to use an old reliable banger with XP computer on for now, but it's really noisy!

My Vista pc Finally, strangely, after the 3rd day of the test lights, I'm afraid to turn it off as his heart sinking when this Green bloody bar stops and I have another hours 5 or more than try.

Help, please!

See you soon

Since you get a hard drive error, I think and test the hard drive. It does not matter if you think the material is new; in fact if the material is going to fail, it will usually make fast enough or go for years. Feeding by omitting also causes the symptoms you describe.

  • MacBook Pro freezes and restarts when holding

My Macbook Pro (MacBookPro9, 1 or MD103LL/A 2.3 GHz, OSX 10.11.4 i7) Decides to freeze and restart when lifted with the metal part under the trackpad and around it. It also does the same thing if I let my elbows on the same premises. What may be problem causing it? The machine already fell from anywhere and so, but suddenly decided to act strange. I opened the cover back after this problem and cleaned of dust or debris but did not find a noticeable amount either. The HARD drive has been replaced by an SSD at the Apple Store Amsterdam (Leidseplein) about 3 years ago and the problem has occurred for about a year.

I would speculate that there is a bad internal connection.  Can you reproduce this every time?  If so, you may be able to locate it.

  • Photoshop Elements 5 freezes and restarts when you use Vista

I have a little problem with Photoshop Elements 5. When I first start the program and click on 'File' system crashes. If I wait about 30 or 40 seconds, it retrieves all and then when to work them again together is very good. It's really very annoying when you start the program, and if someone else has had this problem and knows a difficulty, I would be very grateful.

    Already tried: -.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling

    Repair installation

Unchecking Adobe Active File Monitor V5

None of them worked. The problem seems to be related to the performance of Vista, everything worked fine on my old XP machine.

Now, I use an Acer Aspire 5536 with Windows Vista installed as the operating system.

Please make sure that you have installed the PES 5.0.2 patch

I'm done with my son running on Vista computer, I want to add Xp. is it possible to copy the whole disc C to my Xp computer everywhere in the D drive on the Vista computer and startup, IE XP on Vista computer with all my settings, files, etc.

If XP is preinstalled, it is an OEM license and cannot be moved, as I already explained to you.

The discs are only recovery disk to reinstall it on the original computer, if it is preinstalled.

It is OEM if YOU do not go out and buy a version of XP retail and install it yourself.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then

Already I have formatted several times, but the problem persists.

Any idea what this may be?

    Thank you

    Hello

For me it looks like you might have a motherboard problem. Formatting removes the chance that it is a software problem. Try taking 1 stick of RAM and test with it. If she continues to crash, remove that stick and try it. If she does it with the two RAM then those who are ok. HARD drive is not the culprit, so now he could either be processor or MB. Find a program to measure the heat from the laptop and run some heavy programs do overheat. If the temperature goes up and then it crashes, it could just be overheating. If it continues without overheating you either have a CPU or MB problem. I hope this helps.

  • Computer freezes (and screen changes colors) when playing games with Windows 7

I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 view a month ago and since then I had problems. I'm going to play a game like Left 4 Dead 2, World of Warcraft, counter-strike: Source, etc and I suddenly freezes. My screen freezes and the colors a bit (some of the colors will turn red and some of the colors will turn to a brighter color, etc.). The sound will also freeze and repeat a few milliseconds what it was. My computer is plugged into a power bar and is kept nice and cold, with a fan who helps him at all times and my window still open - there is some dust out there but I don't think she'd cela.

This happens maybe once or twice every two days, and it has never happened when I'm not in a game. It is not a memory problem, I'm only using about 2 GB, 3 GB when it arrives. I always end up having to press the power button on my computer to restart it.

    Help, please.

    Tyvak,
The first suggestion that Aziz has is not the map upgrade but for the driver update.  After the upgrade to Windows 7, you must update all the drivers for your hardware (graphics, sound, NETWORK, card etc...).  The best way to do it is to go on the hardware manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers.  If you have a name brand PC (Dell, HP, etc.) then they usually all drivers for the hardware, but some (usually the drivers graphics) is perhaps not the most recent.  First, make sure that your drivers are up to date and then test the games. Hello

    See if this helps you:

Search for malware, if necessary using the safe mode with networking.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-Windows-in-safe-mode/#Vista

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Boot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

It would be a good idea to run the System File Checker tool if you have corrupted files

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

If SFC detects serious flaws, you may need to perform a repair upgrade Installation or relocation complete if you don't have a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If you can borrow a DVD of Vista from Microsoft you save doing a reinstall full:
