    Go to your retail store, they should have the disk recovery for you or you need to go to your manufacturer directly because the manufacturer is best qualified to support the software that the manufacturer has installed on the hardware, provide your serial number and order the CD on their part. I bet they arrange an expedition to the France and tax treatment for it, but should not be too much.

    Note: The manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If it is not a set of disks with the computer, there will be a hidden restore partition (do not be confused with the system restore), you would use to return the computer to the State of the OOBE (Out of Box Experience).

  • Windows Update does not update Windows Vista platform.

    I recently tried to update my Windows Live Messenger and I get a message that I need this new platform update. The site for the update page told me just to run Windows Update and install it. However, after that Windows Update returns with no such update for my system. What can I do about it? I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition. Please instruct me on how to get this update. I do not wish for the answers that tell me simply run the update client, which does not work for some reason any. My update client is also perfectly up-to-date. Any help is appreciated.

    The "platform update" required by Windows Live Messenger is not Windows Live application update security. It can be installed manually. The experts in the Windows Live forums will be able to help you to do (especially if you try to install Windows Live Messenger Wave 4 beta).

    In other words, it is a question of Windows Live Essentials, not an update of Windows (although Windows Update may offer updates to Windows Live Essentials).

  • Vista SP1 does not update problems and System Restore returns a message "system restore was not entirely successful. File system and the setting of your computer has not changed"with the error code (0x80071AA7)

    0rignal title: Vista SP1 didn't update problem

    So, recently, I was on my computer of gf and noticed she had some updates, it could use his computer which included the SP1 update.  So I went through the process trying to update his computer and he has been a disaster and have had many problems and seems to have tried everything.  It has a Dell inspiron 1525 and has no CD and no key for its program of Vista.  I burned a Vista recovery disk and tried troubleshooting by using that, but have not had much luck.  When I use the Startup Repair tool there is no nothing.  So I tried to use the restore of the system with the Description of "install: Windows Vista Service Pack 1.  He had a restore point saved just before I tried to update to SP1.  Whenever I chose this method, it's but the whole process then in the end it says:

    "System restore was not entirely successful.  File system and the setting of your computer have not changed. "

    then he begins to list the details with the error code (0x80071AA7) and then gives me the option to close or 'Run System Restore"once again that is an endless loop, because I just end up with the same error each time.  If anyone has had this problem and bring myself through it.  I don't want to reinstall windows because it seems simply ridiculous and plus that she a lot of pictures on his computer and I want to get rid of those.

    If you need more information please let me know and evil provides everything I can

    Hello

    Follow the steps and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

    I suspect that your security program may be responsible for this. I would suggest you temporarily disable all security software and try the system restore.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

    Note : Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.  In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 2:

    As for installing updates is concerned, I you should install them after you put your computer in aclean boot State. There could be a third-party software in conflict with updates. Clean boot helps eliminate these conflicts.

    Note: Restart your machine as usual by following step 7.

    Hello

    Try to update your display and video driver using the methods below.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
    each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
    version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
    video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
    cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
    This will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
    own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
    (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
    updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
    because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
    pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
    This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
    questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.

  • Windows update does not update windows defender and so tried to update via windows defender that shows also no update

    Hello!

    I've always used Windows updates to warn me of updates and then I install them. Normally Windows Defender is updated daily through windows updates.

    Time windows last defender of the shows has been update on my pc was 11/2.

    I know updates have been released since then for Defender, but I can't get them.

    So, I went to the windows defender program and used the update it.  This shows also no update available.

    Hi Vikykhandare,

    1. when exactly do you get these errors?

    2 - does this happen when you try to run a specific program or with all programs?

    3. what issues you are facing?

    Method 1:

    You can run scanning of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files & check if the problem persists.

    For more information, you can consult the following link.

    Are some error messages such as low on ink, which was broadcast on XP is not on Vista SP2, is there a patch for this?

    It is strictly a printer driver problem.  Epson doesn't have no drivers for Vista or later on their website, you're stuck with the default from Vista drivers if you want to continue to use the printer with Vista or later version of Windows 7.
  • JavaScript does not update/adjustment of the value of the point

    I currently have the function in my header html
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    function rfc_emergency()

    if ($v('P3_TARGET_COMPLETE_DATE') <= $v('P3_EMERGENCY_DATE'))

    </script>
    and I have this in the form P3_TARGET_COMPLETE_DATE html element attribute
    OnChange = rfc_emergency (this);

    I know the date by comparing work and I know $v('P3_PRIORITY_EMERGENCY').value = "Y"; is ongoing because I'm alert to work. My problem is $v('P3_PRIORITY_EMERGENCY').value = "Y"; in fact, does not appear to do anything. My radio (P3_PRIORITY_EMERGENCY) button remains unchanged. Any suggestions as to why P3_PRIORITY_EMERGENCY is not to 'Y '?

    I'm running 3.2 and I apologize for not having much experience with the java script.
    Thanks in advance.

    My mistake - missed you ask on an option button - they are more delicate with javascript because they are stored under a range of choices, then a simple $x () .value won't.

    You can also make use of $s () to set the value of the elements of the ApEx, which is actually cleaner than $x () .value as it automatically represents the different types of items:

    $s('P3_PRIORITY_EMERGENCY', 'Y');

    Hope this helps,
    John

    I have a broadband internet connection nominally 2 MB/s, but in reality, that speed is low, often fall to 500 KB/s

    I stay in England. The link you sent me regarding service order pack says that it is only applicable to the N.America. There is no reference to the order of the service pack to the United Kingdom.  Is there an equivalent site for customers in the United Kingdom?

    Initially I downloaded the Windows6 file. 0-KB948465 - X 86 .exe but it gave the error I mentioned above. While he was installing bandwidth problem could affect installation.

    Then, I decided to try and install from DVD and downloaded 6002.18005.090410 - 1830_iso_update_sp_wave0 - RTMSP2.0_DVD.iso and it burned with Nero.

    This has yet again, and at this point, I contacted you.

    Is it possible that the previous installation attempt failed caused a form any of the corruption that is causing the DVD version to not settle?

    concerning
