  There is no file with this name in Windows XP.  It was probably part of a virus or spyware infection that has been partially removed. Run a full scan for virus/spyware.  If the problem persists, use the free Windows Sysinternals Autoruns tool to find and remove the reference to the file.

  Reinstall the old iTunes, restart the computer and clean using CCleaner. Then, you can install the latest version of iTunes.

  Because you have a notebook Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and you do not have an installation disc there is nothing we can do in this situation.

  The only thing I can say for now is to try to start safe mode and do a system restore.

  I'm deploying an application Labview 2011 on 150 XP machines in various plants worldwide. Currently, all the machines still have an old 8.21 Labview runtime (+ old DAQmx). I sent a procedure to my colleagues in the plants so that they fit the new runtime environment (+ new DAQmx).   It works well but it does not say that the PC has restarted after the Setup has been run. If I do not have to restart the PC and try to run my Labview 2011 executable I get a long error message (NIDAQmx not registered,...).

  As it seems difficult to get the properties of a key to know when it was installed I was leaning rather to check whether or not a certain DLL (?) was recorded. But it's just a vague idea, and I don't know how to set it up.

  I enclose the code that I have and that works well, but cannot differentiate between Labview 2011 installed runtime and PC restarted or not.

  You could look for a file that would be created as part of the installation to determine date/time Setup (ini or another file created as part of the runtime support installed)

  Combine that with a request of availability of the station and you can calculate if the station was longer than the time since the installation. Not perfect, but should be possible...

One reason might be that you keep the scope of the task flow DC to share instead of isolated, in which case restoring impact on the flow of both. If you want to keep shared DC then check that you return to method activity that is re - running the battery for the parent workflow
