Its only when I try to connect directly from the internet through our firewall I get the above error.

  I used El Capitan 10.11.1 and everything was ok. Before moving to 10.11.2, I had 4 apps like startup items on my account:

  -Dropbox

  -Clean my mac 3

  -Moom

  -Macs fan control

  After upgrading to 10.11.2, only of Dropbox is still to go. The behavior is baffling to me. I'll try to explain it.

  I opened the apps that have been lost as startup items. I put them to run at startup of mac under applications settings. When I restart the Mac OS X, restart the application, but the startup option in the Mac OS X startup is lost (if I go to the settings that the box is unchecked, if I look on the startup items, that the application is not). Of course, if I don't put it once again, the applications will start during the next reboot. So, this means that, after adding an application as startup item, only starts at the next restart, then is lost.

  Fix Windows 7 for Simcoaster! Problem solved!

  Probably also works for 8 but I have not tested.

  To install:
  1. find an online of SimCoaster activation code.
  2. turn OFF your internet connection

  3 insert the disc. If it starts by itself, close out of it. Go to the file for the cd. Right click on the file called "autorun" and go application in > properties > compatibility > defined on Windows XP (Service pack 3). Also change to run as administrator. Save the changes and close properties.

  4. start the autorun of application to install the game. You should be able to get the Installation Wizard of the shield to work. Do not run the game if you are prompted to start the game later, or a window pops up.

  TO PLAY:
  1. go in Program Files > Bullfrog > SimCoaster > looking for the application file called safe mode. Right click and go to properties > compatibility and change in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service pack 3). Don't need to run as administrator, but you can. Only run the game using the application in safe mode. This should avoid problems with graphics that you have had before.

  It should work fine, but I always suggest saving often, just in case :) I've scoured the web (including this message) to help without success... but now it works by following these steps! Yay! If you have already installed the game but you experience problems, uninstall and reinstall using these instructions.
