  Open Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).  "Go to tools' NI-VISA ' VISA Options. Under PXI/PCI and FireWire Interfaces, select the "show all devices accessible to the VISA. Click on save and close MAX. Then close and reopen your ADE. That should allow you to see your PXI with the VISA resources find call of resources.

  If it's a driver fault, can go you on another pc to work to manufacturers support web site for the 'Ukraine' pc and see if the wireless drivers are available there. If they are, download the latest compatible drivers for your pc and transfer them to it by a stick of memory from SD or USB and then install them.

  This may be due to a setting of your network security wireless, for example, that is your network is set to WPA2 but pc does not support. Check configurations for compatibility with your router wireless sound.

  At worst, is it not possible to connect via a cable to your router, esp, if is only a visit to sound.

• PXI-6509 does not attach to the ribbon cable screw

  My threaded spacers on the connector of the PXI - 6509 100 i/o pins are not compatible with screwdowns that come with all the cables R1005050 Ribbon: either end threading is too large or the ribbon cable clamping thread is too small.  In any case, I can not connect it and wonder if it's vital for the current performance of ground or the shielding of the reasons?  I received my material in the calendar from June-August 2008, if it's important.

  Thanks for posting your question on the forums of NOR. It is not necessary to have your clamping of cables connected to the pins of the PXI-6509. The screwdowns are mainly here to make sure that your cable is connected to your device. Currently, I don't have my cable fixed in my PCI due to the fact that I'm constantly change hardware autour.   Hi, I have NI PXI-5600 on chasis 1045 PXI and PXI-5620, PXI-5610, PXI-5421, PXI-4461(from left to right in the pic)... Apparently, I have installed all the drivers correctly and the wiring... Screenshots of my connections and MAX windows are attached. I don't understand where is the problem.

  I have reset the device, but it does not work. think I understood the problem. It seems that the problem is not in PXI-5600. The problem is with the PXI-5620 because

• Map PXI = State does not

  I can't connect with my NI PXI-7358 motion controller card (Driver-OR-Motion 6.1.2 Max 3.1.1 LabVIEW 7.1, Windows XP).  The general tab in MAX for the map shows that "Device status" = "does not" see the attachment.  I've not mapped and matched the remote device.  I also removed and re-installed PXI card without success.  This means that the card is no longer functioning and needs to be replaced?  How can I further consider this issue?

• PXI-8186 is not to ping requests

  I apologize in advance because I'm rather new to LabVIEW and PXI hardware.

  I have a NI PXI-8186 controller who all of a sudden can be reached via the network.

  The PC is connected to the controller via a hub.  I was able to ping another device also on the hub as well so that the NETWORK PC card is OK.  Since then, more troubleshooting, I have the PC connected directly to the PXI via a crossover ethernet cable but still was also unable to ping.  Therefore, (obviously) I can't reach the controller in MAX as well.

  When the PXI starts, I see the following

  To me, it seems that the controller is not fully started.  After a reboot, it remains in the State as shown above.

  Other information:

  + The "PWR OK" LED on the PXI is green fixed.

  + The 'DRIVE' on the PXI system LED is off.  This does not blink even during a reboot.

  + Ethernet "10/100" LED on the PXI Green is fixed.

  + Ethernet "Act/link" LED on the PXI constantly flashes orange.

  What other things can resolve with my minimal experience with this hardware/software?  Is it possible to start in SafeMode PXI or which is available if I can get to the SETUP menu?  Do you recommend a reformat of the hard drive?  If so, how can I do this and how can I get the application about PXI?

  I think that the hard disk on the controller does not have.  I know for sure on Monday as I pick up a backup controller.

  I use Simulation Interface Toolkit to target a controller built in Simulink on a PXI target. I used the SIT connection manager to generate the driver screws I had to make some changes in the screw driver specifically Read.vi IO. I made the changes and the entire application runs without error. But the changes are not getting in the functioning of the application, essentially when I load the thing on PXI and run it, it contains exactly as it was before behaiving I made these changes. Some how the changes I make to the Read.vi of e/s are not begin day somewhere in the top vi driver.

  Thank you very much for the reply. Solved the problem. What you're saying, that's certainly true, but I do not use the project.

  The problem was that whenever it makes a change one driver that saw VI top-level driver must be opened and saved again. This opening and registration links the pilot with new changed correctly VI and then everything works fine.

• PXI-5105 resolution not quite as expected.

  I have a system with the guidance of PXI5105, and I use it to sample a signal on beach of 30V (+/-15V), 1megaohm input impedance, 1megasamples by the second sampling rate.

  The PXI5105 has a resolution of 12 bits, so I expect to see the steps in the quantification of 30V / (2 ^ 12) = 7.32mV

  Acquisition of a stationary signal, the noise extends over 7 discrete levels, so spans 6 quantization steps (see file attached .jpg)

  Ranges of noise on 52mV (it goes from-16 to + 36mV), so measured quantification step is 52 / 6 = 8.66mV

  I'm missing something obvious here. Why the difference between calculated and measured resolution?

  My only thought is that resolution is not linear in voltage range. I expect there are a few non-linearity, but didn't expect so much.

  The gap you see is due to the fact that the input range effective from Ridge to ridge of the Board of Directors is not exactly 30V.  The overall increase in analog front end that lies between your input signal and the ADC has initial inaccuracies and can also drift over time and temperature.  These effects can be minimized but never completely eliminated.  As a result, we design boards to have a peak-to-peak input nominal range is slightly larger than the ideal ranges specified in the data sheet.  This ensures that the jury will never less that ideal beach, even though the gain of slightly derivatives (this way you can always be assured that if you use the 30Vpp range and put you in a 30Vpp signal you will never saturate CDA which results in a loss of the signal information).  The 5105 has an internal calibration of precision voltage generator which is then used to calibrate data at the scale that you are returned.  This results in a slight reduction in resolution (increase of the voltage/ADC code) as you have seen, but the tension you be returned is always exact specification of precision AC / DC published in the data sheet.  If you know that the resolution calibrated, it is possible to get this information from the output of cluster "wfm info" from the "Fetch (poly) .vi niScope" when you use the vi in a mode of extraction of binary data.  Sorry for the confusion and hope this helps.

  However, I updated a client machine of jre 6-8u45 8 current version and got this result in firefox and ie 11:

  But I thought we were supposed to be able to use 8 on the client.  Should we get 7 MOS updates now?
