• How can I file a formal bug report?

  I was playing around with voice commands, and I believe that I tracked down the cause of the inconsistent volume over the guests.  I would like to file and official report if there is a mechanism to do so.  Here are the details:

  The voice command prompts appear to follow with the volume during a call more volume of Bluetooth for if the volume is reduced to use the phone as a handset voice commands become inaudible.  It also seems that during voice command resets the bluetooth or the volume during a call 50% without a volume knob is used.

  In my view, given the voice command prompts track to each volume is a mistake since it is a constant volume while phone conversations can vary greatly.  Guests must have an independent volume as sort of a "preamp" on volumes of masters.  This approach works perfectly on market Vlingo and choice Dialer applications more.

  You just made.  Here are my results when testing of voice control on my phone.  The first time I use it, the volume is usually reduced, and it takes a few seconds for the 'Please wait', "say a command" option above.  The next immediate use, the volume is correct and the delay is no longer there.   -Dan

• Why my system image not do?

  I'm currently trying to make an image of my hard drive Windows 7 system, but everytime I try, it evokes an error saying "Volumes over 2088958 megabytes cannot be protected. (0x807800B4). The image of the system said it will be up to 1.36 TB, but this error always comes to the top. I make only the image of the system, nothing more. I tried to change my settings backup and even just by clicking the single system image option. Online search has not given anything whatsoever either.

  The hard drive is able to contain 1.82 TB as well, so this isn't the case. It's an empty drive at the moment.

  What can I do to fix this? It is quite frustrating not to be able to make a backup of this fact.

  I have an SRM installation with 2 sites.  The sites are separated by metro trunk of layer 2 ethernet between the sites.

  Site has

  1 EqualLogic PS6100

  2 ESX servers configured as cluster

  There is a single data store volume over the San with all virtual machines in this cluster

  There is one instance of vCenter to this place located in the same data as the other virtual machines store

  There are also a few other volumes on the SAN used for the RDM disks in virtual machines

  I also created a small volume of 1 GB as a VMFS data store and have it mapped in SRM to use as a placeholder for a data store

  What are your thoughts on that?  Is this the best way?  I could use the local storage on the ESX servers?  Main VM can be used for fictional settings or my data store?

  SRM is installed on the same VM as vCenter

  MRS. uses SQL Express on the local vCenter VM

  vCenter also uses SQL Express

  Site B

  If I run the recovery in emergency mode, vCenter is then moved to the other site and power.  Because the sites are layer 2 and on the same vlan, MRS. watch sites are connected by 2 instances SRM can meet eventhough they are now running on the same site.  This does not seem right to me.

  Can someone suggest a better configuration?

  You don't have to configure them in bound Mode. This is for ease of management only (license, roles and inventory)

  Yep, do not put vCenter VM on the VMS data store and reproduce at all.

• Occasional errors of NTFS on Windows Server VM

  I have a Windows 2003 server that I sometimes (every 2 weeks or more) get NTFS errors during backup (Backup Exec 12.5).  It's always the same drive (dynamic spanning two volumes).  The VM data store is on a NetApp iSCSI SAN.  If I run chkdsk, mistakes become clear.  That's happened last night again.  I have a whole directory that is inaccessible today.  Hopefully chkdsk will fix it again.

  60 GB is a small disk, dynamic disks is the only way for volumes over 2 TB.

  You can extend your customer VI vmdk and then resize the NTFS with Dell ExtPart partition, gparted or any tool of partitioning that you like.

• 3 simple questions involving basic effects.

  I use Pro CS3 on Windows 7.

  (1) is it possible to apply an audio transition to make something fade out?  I see only 'constant gain' and not 'the constant loss' or something else.  I don't know how to lose volume over time.

  (2) I wanted to do a bunch of clips black and white at the same time, so I highlighted all the clips that I wanted to have that effect on and dragged the black and white effect in the menu on the clips, but it did nothing!  I tried several times, even tried the reverse, dragging the clips of the effect, but nothing.  I had to finally click on each item separately and apply the effect, very tedious.  Is it possible to apply it to several at once?

  (3) I can change the volume of a single audio file by clicking middle yellow bar on the fastener of the line of time and travel upwards (or downwards in case I want it reduced to silence) but I can't figure out how to do this in several clips at the same time.  For example, if I want 5 clips to increase by 4.5 dB without clicking each clip individually.  Thanks a lot for your help guys.

  1. Controls by clicking on the audio "elastic" to add a control point.   For example to fade a clip to add a control point 1 second from the end and the other at the end.  Drag a last up to zero.    Or; Add an audio transition of melted at the end or at the beginning of the clip.  (command D shft)
  2. In addition to a clip.  Then copy this clip, select all the other clips, and choose attributes of the dough.
  3. If you want to change all the clips or gain, volume change the volume of the track.

  As others have already pointed out, you can easily store objects of different types in a single cache. However, there are several reasons why you may not to:

  1. several features consistency, such as indexes and parallel queries, use extractors of value to retrieve the property values of objects in the cache. If these objects are not in the same category, you probably run questions when using out-of-the-box value extractors, such as the extractor based on the reflection and will have to write your own Extractor which is able to manage differences.

  2. different entities within your application will require probably different caching topologies. You can reproduce some objects in read-only or read-mostly on all nodes, while you probably want these types of features that tend to grow in volume over time of the partition. Having a cache by entity type allows you to do this easily.

  As a general rule, you want to have a cache by type of entity, just like you'd usually have one table per entity type in a database. In some cases, you will have a single cache by the hierarchy of entity types, especially if all the properties you need indexing and querying on are present on the base class.

• Scrolling the mouse will pass only volume in the mixer volume if flying over directly.

  By clicking on the mixer volume bottom right of your taskbar displays the master volume mixer. Normally once you do this, you can adjust the volume by using the scroll wheel on your mouse whenever your mouse is on the desktop. In my case this works if my mouse is located directly on the bar, not only the popup volume [see red outline in pic].

  This problem came after I formatted my computer, I have no other problems. I checked the latest updated driver for my mouse and used the driver or program is to my mouse but nothing worked. It's frustrating because literally every single other computer, this option doesn't work. Specifications of the computer below. The next thing I want to try is switching on the mouse, I just have to get your hands on one. Meanwhile the guys/girls do you have ideas? I think there must be some kind of software or questioning.

  I determined the problem, this is for all those who may have a similar problem in the future.

  It's a mouse button assigning app called 'X - Mouse Button Control' I use this app to assign my 4 and 5 mouse button to the multimedia keys. To re install this application after I formatted my computer a setting has been changed. Specifically 'Make scroll wheel scroll window under cursor' once I have disabled this feature all my problems have been solved.

  The rest of my audio is the voice talking to me. I works to ensure all this audio voiceover to an average Loudness Radar-24.

  What is the best way to adjust the volume of the video film - 24 on average Loudness Radar? I must:

  • Apply Audio Gain-> normalize Max peak?
  • Apply Audio Gain-> normalize all peaks?
  • Another approach?

  I mix it manually until it sounds right, then change the master level to match the desired intensity. Through the final mix loudness radar and set the master volume to get - 24db, you may need to do a couple of times.

• iPod Classic 80 GB volume will not go up

  Our 80 GB Classic is no longer opens in iTunes and disk utility in OS X shows that the volume doesn't go up. The iPod has been managed manually on several of our computers over the years, and the last backup was performed age there is.  DiskUtil is unable to repair the volume, or it will make a restore disc image.  It will be possible to retrieve all data from it?

  I use Mac OS 10.6.8.
  When I access my webmail via Firefox, I get a Twitter hard whenever I have send or receive a new email.

  This only will be not exactly 'wear the volume bar back,' however how would you slide up from the bottom of the ipad to access the control panel once the playlist plays. The Control Panel has a volume slider that you can use and you can leave the Panel open all the time the playlist plays.
