VPN - user Time out

I have a group policy set to maximum user access 10 hours. Is there a way to notify the user of the connection will happen? Impossible to find in the documentation.

Code ASA - 9.1.6 (10)

AnyConnect - 4.2.00096

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Hi dmooregfb,

This feature is not yet supported on SAA. We already have upgrades for it: -.

    Any ideas?

    If it works with tunnelall and not with the split tunneling then you need to enable split dns.

    Your group strategy should something like this:

    internal vpnpolicyx group policy

    Split-dns value yourcompany.local

  • Crash Time out

    I am running windows vista with office 2007 on HP pavillion laptop.  A few months ago, I had a complete catastrophic accident (blue screen) and had the system back to factory settings and seems to work ok for a while.  Recently, if the computer is left on but idle for more than 15 minutes it completely freezes requiring a reboot via now button.  After the reboot, it goes through a check disk 3 steps that always ends without problem. What can be done to stop the gel after such a short time of inactivity?

    I'm just curious, but I guess that you have Service Pack 2 installed...?

    After a reinstall complete my Vista, my problem with 'watch a video screen of password that triggers' returned tonight. I'm totally up-to-date, six updates beyond SP2. I think that there is something wrong with the 'timing' or 'Time out' in Service Pack 2 issues, and it affects screensavers and the password prompts (or trigger these).

    I found this thread tonight on another site: http://www.ureader.com/msg/14743674.aspx where some people from Microsoft are discussing similar issues.

    I just got Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware tonight, so I'll run right after my defender and 4.5 a-squared ends to scan. But I think that the system is clean. I mean, it's a NEW re - install on a reformatted drive. It's something for scanners detect no, then, which means it's done on purpose in the code like this is supposed to be there (that is, something can not check users - who is going to be the thing for Microsoft to do and hopefully fix it with a new update).

  • How to get what the current backlight time-out is set?

    Hi all

    Work in 4.2.1. I would like to be able to arbitrarily increase the backlight time-out and restore it to what the user he had initially set when I'm done. Looking at the API of backlighting (i.e. backlighting. getTimeoutDefault()), apparently I'm only able to recover the default delay, which - as I understand - would be different from the time delay set by the user.

    So my question: How can I get the _current_ time-out setting? Otherwise, looks like that I would not be able to always set the time-out period back to what the user had selected through their setting of BB menu.

    Thanks for your comments!

    There is no BlackBerry API that provides the setting specified by the user backlight time-out.

  • unlimited time-out, but the idle time-out is 30 minutes per session

    Hi all

    I connect with client Anyconnect for an ASA5510 (8.2.1 (11))

    In group policy, I idle timeout = unlimited, but if I control the session in asdm and the command line

    I find idle timeout = 30 minutes.

    If I insert idle timeout = 60 in politics, in the session I see Idle timeout = 60 min.

    Is only a problem in the visualization of the session?

    Defining the 'vpn-idle-timeout none' group strategy is a misunderstood command. When it is set in group policy, it does not neutralize the idle-timeout. In the past, I filed a bug in order to clarify what this setting (see CSCsm15079) to clarify the misunderstanding. In more recent versions of the code with bug fix, context-sensitive help for command now correctly explained:

    ASA(config-Group-Policy) # vpn - idle - timeout?

    orders/options mode group policy:

    <1-35791394>Number of minutes

    No IPsec VPN: disable the time-out and allow indefinite idling;

    VPN SSL: Use the value by defect-idle-timeout

    When set to none, and you are using SSL VPN, this means that he will inherit the default-timeout defined under the Webvpn config. The default value for this command is 30 minutes, so that's probably why ASDM displays 30 minutes. If you want to adjust this value, it can be changed with:

    conf t

    WebVPN

    by default-idle-timeout

    If you want an 'unlimited' idle time, must be defined the vpn-idle-timeout in group policy for a specific number instead of "none" - the maximum that you can set to the vpn-idle-timeout command is 35791394 minutes (something like ~ 24000 days or essentially unlimited).

    Please note this post and mark it as resolved if he addressed the issue.

    Hi Lasandro,

    Looks like max connect timer is not yet available, but the timeout is.

    You can configure in the dynamic plan using the command 'set security association idle-timeout' .

    Or apply globally with periods of inactivity of 60secs just to check:

    "crypto ipsec security association idle time 60.

  • VSA and VSADs not mounted Manager time-out

    I have some problem in my VSA environment. The first problem is that I can't access the Manager of VSA vSphere client. When I click on the tab is present me with a message "loading" red the a 'loading takes longer than expected, if the cluster is on a network reconfiguration mode disconnect and reconnect' and then eventually times out saying "the VSA Cluster is unavailable connection timed out: connect.

    This brings me to my second question, which is the VSADs (two-node cluster) upward as inactive (not mounted) in vCenter. I can't ping the IP mount. However, I can ping the vCenter and two VSA management IP, as well as the IP Address of cluster service. However the management of the cluster (172.16.32.20) and NFS IP are not available.

    I lost power to my lab and things have not stopped correctly. Since I put under tension, it was unavailable. I've included the VSA Manager log.

    It seems to me the IP SAS is not. However, I do not know why?

    Any ideas would be great there are machines that I really want to revisit those NFS mounts.

    Hi Owen,.

    From the description you posted, it seems that either your cluster in maintenance mode or that there is something wrong with the backend network prevents the adjoining VSA VMs between them.

    You can check if the VSA VMS are in maintenance mode by using WSCli and getSvaServerInfo running. To do:

    Open a console session (command prompt) on the server where the VSA Manager is installed.

    Navigate to the directory that contains the file WSCLI.jar (C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VSA Manager\tools\).

    Run: java-jar WSCLI.jar getSvaServerInfo

    Check the two VMS VSA. If they are both in maintenance mode, you can get them to come out of maintenance mode by running:

    java-jar WSCLI.jar exitMaintenanceMode

    Check the VMs got out of maintenance mode by running getSvaServerInfo again. With the two VM VSA out of maintenance mode, the address IP of Cluster should appear. Check if the cluster itself is in maintenance mode by running:

    java-jar WSCLI.jar getStorageCluster

    If the cluster is in maintenance mode, you can either take the cluster out of maintenance mode by running:

    java-jar WSCLI.jar exitStorageClusterMaintenanceMode

    Or, at this point, the VSA Manager must be able to connect to the Cluster and you can take the cluster out of maintenance via the user interface mode. Once this is done, your NFS shares must be online.

    In case the system VMs VSA are not in maintenance mode, there is probably a problem preventing the VSA VMs to communicate. Indeed, even if the VSA VMS are in maintenance mode, if there is a network problem, you won't be able to remove them from the maintenance mode. So, if the steps above fail, first step should probably be to check networking (necessity of VMs to communicate on networks of front and background).

  • Idle time-out

    Hello

    I have a simple problem that I'm sure homonyms would experience but I am not able to find a solution.

    I set the timeout to 10 minutes and it works a treat, the moment the idle time-out period is reached and the user interacts with the application that it is redirected to the login page.

    My problem is the following.

    The user can open a modal popup window and then exit the application running as it passed while doing other things. When she returned and interacts with the modal pop-up window, the user is redirected to the login page in the popup modal, rather than demand for closing modal popup window and the parent page of the redirect to the login page.

    Any suggestion on how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    I think this might do the trick for you even if you need to perform some tests. Basically if it's a pop-up then "opener" must be non-null. Let us know if it works for you.

  • How to add the time-out explicit?

    In my load test script, I want to add an explicit delay between 2 markets. For example, the script should always take a break of 60 seconds between step 1 and step 2. This time-out period is different from the user think that the time and must be unchanged, so I can't use think(). There is another function that is paused the script for a pre-defined period?

    Hi MingyuCheung,

    Please try to use delay().

  • Save before the time-out...

    Hi all...

    Please help me solve this problem.
    Let's say I have a simple form 'report' on the EMP table. In my application, I have the "Timeout" for 15 minutes.
    As you know if define us the time-out and the end user is idle for 15 minutes, the application will log them after 15 minutes.
    Is it possible to save your changes, just before the end user got "timed" out
    I mean if the user has made a few changes and idle for 15 minutes and hit the button changes apply after 15 min.
    they lose the changes they made.

    Is it possible to save these changes before the time-out period.

    Thank you

    Yes, there is a difference between these two times.

    I need to get this "APEX downtime" to notify users or make the BACKUP process before that date.

    I don't have your question, I think I got it now, you want to know the downtime from the time displayed on tracks internally within the apex. I couldn't find all the tables where this information is held, probably someone from the dev team can give some information about this part.
    However, you can set a JS variable to the loading of the page with the date and then compare with the current date in JS to get a rough estimate of which (given that the variable gets reset loading the page, so the apex timer is also).

    to run the JS code above, I need to have a (hidden) button with the name 'IDLE_TIME_OUT_SAVE '.

    No you don't need any button, it works fine without it. By default, apex buttons send the page with their name as application, this does not mean that buttons may not submit the page.

  • How to change the settings for time-out HFM

    Hi gurus,

    Please help me how to increase the time-out setting waiting for Application HFM (11.1.1.3) running on Windows 2003 SP2.

    Thank you
    Shashi

    Here are the steps to change the expiration time of in IIS:
    Go to IIS, in the list of Web sites, select hfm, right-click on it and select Properties, this will bring the virtual directory in view tab, otherwise click on this tab.
    Click the configuration button, and then click the Options tab. Time out of sessions should be displayed within minutes.

    If you prefer to go in the way of the EMP Configurator, the Start button all programs->-> Oracle EPM System-> Oracle Foundation Services select EPM System Configurator.
    Once it works financial management select in the first screen, and then configure the Web server-> Configure IIS for Webapplication of financial management;
    You should see the 1200 seconds Web session timeout, change it according to your needs. Do not too big, you want that users initially.

  • Time out function on the timeline...

    Hi all!

    can someone help me with script for a time-out on my calendar feature?

    I have some tasks in my scenario where I want a timeout to happen after 5 seconds the user click anywhere or do anything.

    I am familiar with mouse functions listener... but they only use them for something that I would do the time-out after a predetermined time already...

    Thanks for any help.

    Pat

    imports must be placed at the top of your codes. Sorry also forgot to tell you that you must activate the timer by calling the setUserActivityTimeout function whenever you intend to start checking for the activity of the user. Then, each mouse click resets the timer. If no more clicks are detected after the last click (in 5 sec), it calls onUserInactivity, which will remove the _root.onMouseDown Manager so that the timer is not recalled when clicked. But you can re - activate the timer by setting his manager with setUserActivityTimeout.

    Import mx.utils. Delegate; Should be at the top of the code

    var nTimeoutId:Number;

    var nTimeTolerance:Number = 5000; timeout of 5 seconds

    _root. OnMouseDown = Delegate.create (this, setUserActivityTimeout);

    setUserActivityTimeout ( ); Activate the timer

    function setUserActivityTimeout(): Void

    {

    clearTimeout() (nTimeoutId);

    nTimeoutId = setTimeout (delegate.create (this, onUserInactivity), nTimeTolerance);

    }

    function stopTimer(): Void

    {

    clearTimeout() (nTimeoutId);

    }

    function onUserInactivity(): Void

    {

    Delete, and then redefine it again if you want to activate again

    delete _root.onMouseDown;

    gotoAndStop ("exit_no");

    }

  • session time-out

    This is the situation:

    -chanel AMFChannel

    -session expired web.xml = 1 minute

    1. from the connection of client app client and on the server in run mode I create destination for the logged-on user, and then the customer I agree a consumer for this destination. Everything is OK has send messages from the server and the client receive them, but the problem is here:

    When a minute past without any intervention from the client the session on the server is never closed, even if I wait an hour. So I rebiuld project just to try what happens if I do not agree with the destination of the customer, so now I don't use blazeds in this case the session is closed at the time. So where is the problem. BlazeDS is the open session? And how to overcome this problem, I have want to have job destination and http session that close at the time?

    Hello. With most channels, when the client is connected to the server, we keep alive HTTP session. With polling stations, your client may not be sending messages to or receiving messages from the server, but the client is actively poll the server for new messages. In general, as long as the client is connected to the server prevent us the HTTP session to time out.

    Is this a concern of security for you? The time-out should occur on the server, or is it on the client?

    If you are uncomfortable with having the timeout of the written customer a customer code to disconnect the consumer if no messages have been sent or received in a given period of time should not be too hard. You can also use the invalidate session on logout channel setting to disable the HTTP session as soon as the client sends the disconnect message to the server.

    If this solution is still a security issue, you may be able to get the HTTP session to time out using a long channel of the poll (with Mark activated and waiting-time-millis defined AMFChannel). If you set the interval-waiting-millis-1, the client will send a request to poll on the server and then demand survey will get parked on the server so that a new message arrives for the client. With the request to the server, it should not be any new request coming in it would be alive to keep the session HTTP and the HTTP session should timeout.

    I don't really like this solution because it relies on the client using a single channel to connect to the server and BlazeDS has been designed as much as possible to be independent. The behavior should be the same regardless of the channel is used.

    If you can describe in more detail a little bit what kind of behavior you want to see and why, can I apply for improvement on your behalf.

    I can see why for reasons of security we would like to be able to exhale the customer if she remained inactive for a given period of time. And by inactive I mean the customer only has not sent or received messages, not currently meant by inactive (the client is not connected to the server). Good to have feedback on how you want to see this implementation where you think this code should live (client or server) would be helpful.
