VS web cache WCCP service numbers

Hello

I'm working on configuring WCCP for our LAN and I wonder if there are any differences in features between the use of 'ip wccp web cache' or 'ip wccp [number] "?

(The plan is to have caching devices and using the WCCP, web traffic would be picked up and sent to the caching engines).

Thank you for your time.

Hi Martin,

The WCCP service numbers are characterised by TCP port numbers, in the case of the web cache wccp, this will redirect all traffic to TCP port 80 of routers to Cisco Cache/CNSE devices. Other third party WCCP clients will use wccp custom number (90-97), some of the groups most common wccp service are shown below:

Name of the service Service number Protocol Port Priority
Web cache 0 TCP 80 240
DNS 53 UDP 53 202
FTP-native 60 TCP 200
promiscuity of TCP 61 TCP * 34

HTTPS-cache 70 TCP 443 231
RTSP 80 TCP 554 200
WMT 81 TCP 1755 201
MMSU 82 UDP 1755 201
RTSPU 83 UDP 5005 201

  • 'Web Deployment agent service' using port 80.

    Hello community,

After I uninstalled ampps (alternative to Xampp) and re installed, I get a message that port 80 is used by another application.

What I've done so far was out of "MsDepSvc.exe" by spacing it epSvc.exe MsD.

  • Oracle Web Cache and OBIEE 11g

Anyone using Oracle Web Cache with OBIEE 11 g?

Can I get an overview of the issue of whether this solution is beneficial? Or I should not even bother.

    Hi Kletos,

I use the 10 g (not 11g), is there a difference between people? If this is not the case, then using the web cache is also beneficial to consider the request to hit the database in other words.

The web cache can contain most recently used reports or invite (all) cache - which is also useful.

    hope this helps

  • How to make an InsertOrUpdate with web 2.0 services

    (a) is there a way to do it with web 2.0 services? I guess using a query and then update or insert.

    (b) if we were to use web services 1.0 there disadvantages? (besides a possible performance problem in the documentation)

    (c) InsertOrUpdate uses the 'user key' record for identification. If you need to identify with the help of another area, I guess that the only way is through query, etc. Any other ideas?

    TXS for any help.
    Antonio

    Hello Antonio,.

I understand that the InsertOrUpdate method is only valid for Web Services 1.0.

Correct, the InsertOrUpdate method is not available in version 2.0 of WS.

    (a) is there a way to do it with web 2.0 services? I guess using a query and then update or insert.

It's a possibility, but this means that each insert or update will be composed of two operations. I suggest to review your requirements and planned to use cases of a way to determine if a record is inserted or updated in CRMOD. The specific approach would depend on what how are records to be entered into compiled CRMOD (i.e. vs user interaction component synchronization of batch)

    (b) if we were to use web services 1.0 there disadvantages? (besides a possible performance problem in the documentation)

There are objects that are not supported for WS v1.0, but also the fact that the coverage of field is not as full interface v2.0 of WS.

    (c) InsertOrUpdate uses the 'user key' record for identification. If you need to identify with the help of another area, I guess that the only way is through query, etc. Any other ideas?

Only some fields or sets of fields can be used as a user key. They are described in the user guide for the WS. You can query other fields to search only in CRMOD record, but a single value must be provided to identify a record for an update operation.

    Thank you

  • Web blocking BES service

Hello everyone, I know there are a lot of posts related to this issue, but after a deep search, I have not been able to find a solution to my problem.

My application uses some web services hosted in a public server. I created the stubs with the J2ME Wireless Toolkit stub generator. I'm not really sure what type of connection, the application uses to connect. As far as I know if the device is a member of BES that it will try to connect through MDS, otherwise it will try a direct connection.

My application works perfectly in the two Simulator and not members BES devices, but when I try on a registered BES device I get the following error:

SAXParseException in the back of the Server SOAP message

I have experienced some difficulties with the web services axis based when there is a proxy between server and client. Some problem with HTTP continue header.

I do not add "deviceside =" to the URL.

    Can someone help me please?

    Thanks in advance

I apologize for not responding so far. I finally managed to fix the problem. He did not add "deviceside = false" at the end of the Web URL of reference service, but "deviceside = true".

On the other hand, now I have to deal with a related problem. I managed to make my request to work on a device that has just signed on a BES for this problem, but with the devices that already worked under BES, I get the following exception

    "java.io.IOException: Tunnel failed".

I have no idea why this may be. I checked the settings, and they are identical. There seems to be no reason for this failure.

    Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks to all who helped already moreover.

  • How to use references from web third party service with service Cloud Computing to Oracle database schema

    APEX 5.0

Cloud Computing service for the Oracle database schema

I'm in the middle of do a proof of concept. Basically, I need an application with security of the stored data, UI, user, data loading, and able to post data via an external web service said. It seems that with the database schema Oracle cloud service, it is not possible to use web service references that are not in the field.

If I try to use a service via http reference, I get:

ORA-20987: APEX - the requested URL was forbidden. Contact your administrator. -Contact your administrator of the application.

If I try to use the same reference service via https, I get:

    ORA-29273: HTTP request failed

    ORA-06512: at & quot; SYS. UTL_HTTP & quot; line 1130

    ORA-29259: end-of-input reached

I read somewhere that cloud services only https can be used. Is this true?

And then I read somewhere to use the protocol https, the portfolio must be configured to store certificates, etc. However, I read somewhere else that the portfolio cannot be configured because there is no access to the instance database with the Oracle Cloud Computing database schema service. Is this true?

If both are true, how can I make a call to post data to an external web service? Or do I need to use a different Cloud Computing service? Or do I need my own instance of Oracle DB?

Any help would be great. Thank you!

It turns out there was a problem with the remote rest service. After successfully calling a rest service that was created using SQL Workshop, I tried different remote rest services and they all work. Sorry for the confusion. I thought it was very strange that the schema of database service wouldn't be able to do it easily.

  • Web auto configuration Service 2.1.0 CC & B

    Hi all

I am trying to configure Web Self Service 2.1 for CC & B 2.1.0 and I followed the steps described in the installation document. I had the login page.

When I try to register a user, I get the following error:

"Could not load the request schema. "java.io.FileNotFoundException: /u01/spl/PRODTEST/SSvcPersonSearchByID.xsd (no such file or directory).

The above xsd file is available in the directory/u01/spl/PRODTEST/splapp/xai/schema.

Is there a configuration that must be updated to take the correct path for the schema files?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Séverine

Is the self-service application installed under / u01/spl/PRODTEST +? If Yes, can you try to install it less $SPLEBASE/splapp folder, i.e. + / u01/spl/PRODTEST/splapp +.

"Directory Schema" default location is configured under Options of XAI, default value is "file:///@SPLEBASE@/splapp/xai/schemas/", which in your case would be + / u01/spl/PRODTEST/splapp/xai/schemas / +.

    Looks quite obvious.
Grid control is delivered with Oracle Application Server and Oracle Application server consists among other things of Oracle Http Server and Oracle Webcache.
Caches frequently accessed WEBCACHE URL in memory to avoid everything that the reading of the disc.
And, Yes, Grid Control is constructed using generic components, so all traffic between Oracle Management Server and the repository database is the HTTP traffic (although WHO and the database are on the same server) so goes via Webcache.
Grid control comes with several metrics, components different thresholds should not meet. In this cache hit of the webcache ratio is only 16.67%, which is below threshold.
You can change the Oracle Webcache configuration using your browser and this process is obviously

    documented

So I am not yet convinced that your code returns a string because it seems that the only way that you tested it is with digital inputs (which require a different logic to return a string).

Here is a quick web method that I threw as well to prove that the entry and exit of the channels work in terminal mode.

Works fine for me. I LV 2011 SP1, but I would be very surprised if this is a bug with LV 2012.
