  What you can do to remove a specific data store, is to use the operator - ceq PowerShell which performs a case-sensitive comparison. Something like:

  Get-Datastore | Where-Object { $_.Name -ceq "Datastore1" } | Remove-Datastore
  

  If you want to remove both you can do:

  Get-Datastore | Where-Object { $_.Name -eq "Datastore1" } | Remove-Datastore

  I'm a vi uses to communicate with an oscilloscope Tek TDP by GPIB. The vi that I use, that come with the driver for the scope, read the pulse and waveform period. The problem is that I call the VI looped several times until you get the wave shape I want. Before the wave I want to be generated it not there no pulse at all so the live ' returns an error. I want to completely remove this error. It's that I don't want it remain always displayed. Y at - it an easy way to do it. Is there a way to remove all the errors for the vi that would work, but I prefer a method that would only delete, IE not a particular error display.

  In fact, if you want to only remove a mistake, I think the best way would be to use a Simple mistake (dialog box and Palette of UI) handler.  Together, the error code top-left towards the error you want to ignore and the type of dialog box to 0 and it will remove only that error.

  Yesterday, I removed several components of windows to attempt to clean my cpu. After the reboot, I noticed that my DVD drive disappeared. I tried to update the driver but told me I have the most updated version, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, but I still get the same error. Under Driver Details, it shows that I have a lot of drivers for my Phillips DVD player. However, the status of the device is the following: Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device. I've done the troubleshooting, and the two options has not fixed the problem.

  Then I tried to add windows components that I removed, thinking maybe that was the problem. However, when I try to add them, I get an error message that says: 'Setup cannot copy the file zClientm.ex_' it shows the location of this file as being in windows/i386, and of course, the file is located in this folder. So when I go to browse to locate the file, I find and click on it to open it, but I keep getting the same error message that the file is not found and Setup cannot continue.

  I realize that this problem seems very rare and weird, but any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you.

• Damn backup Rescue &amp; Recovery remove system - steps to manually delete the reg entries?

  After a 3 hour wait, I am convinced that this piece of crap called Rescue and Recovery is the worst of Lenovo systems.   I had 4 backups using 43 GB.  I wanted to delete all, because I need the space.  So I went to the R & R through Lenovo (T410) of the cutting-edge tools and it shows 4 backups (1 for each month spent).  I thought that I should start with the oldest backup.   So I hit the button remove next to the oldest date I saw there, and it has been running for 3 hours and there is no end to this, I think, even if the hard drive shows activity.   I wanted to post here to see if the process ends the 43 GB of compensation from one day to the next.  I am ready to leave my PC to work from one day to the next, if others have noticed that it is a slow process, beyond imagination.   But, if I kill this process in the middle and remove the C:\RRbackups manually in the file system, which will mess up other parties (such as the registry).  So I wanted to see if anyone knows the necessary manual procedure (after the murder of this process) to a clean deletion beyond file system.  I sat with this shit called Rescue and Recovery for most of today, and it makes me think that this software is too crappy than DELL.    Frustrated...

  I can't answer why it takes so long to just perform a deletion, but I'd let it run the course as long as you see the disk activity.

  I know that if you uninstall Rescue and Recovery, then wipe the previous backups and your backup disk, reinstall Rescue and Recovery and start over just too.

• Yet another remove datastore NFS problem

  Hello, everyone!

  We have a VMware vSphere 5.1 environment and we have a datastore external NFS connected to one of the guests with distributions of the OS and other similar things. Recently on the server side NFS has been activated a firewall and its config erroneously did not all active NFS. For our data store went to the idle state. After correcting this error, I've recreated successfully NFS datastore under a new name, but now I couldn't delete the old! In the menu vSphere Client, I see all the possible orders for this data store, except take it apart a. When I use the esxcli command, it successful but after I even stranger result - vSphere Client poster: number of hosts connected to the data store - 0, number of VMs - 2. But in the 'connected' two VMs virtual CD-ROM is replaced by the client machine, there is no one (or other NFS) file data store in the properties out there!

  So, how can I manually remove such things now corrupted?

  Not sure, but has all of the active virtual machine snapshots?

• Help! Cannot remove datastore - 'in service '.

  I tried all the suggestions there and still cannot delete a data store in my vCenter.

  (I was not able to restart the hosts, or even put them in maintnenace - is not an option at the moment).

  2-

  I did the following:

  -migrated all VM.

  -checked the vmx files all references to the data store

  -2 VMS found not in the inventory or under tension, which reference the data store - changed those

  -delete the folder .dvsData of the data store

  N ' is not used for HA (2 guests are not in a cluster)

  -made sure the IO control is disabled on all hosts

  -even chained: VMware experience before: how to disable the control of i/o storage for an unavailable data store

  -No snapshots exist on any virtual machine that * have * on this data store

  -also checked for orphans * - 00000x.vmdk on the migrated virtual machine - there is

  -disassemble the data store

  -It works from a host, but not the other.

  -disassembly of host1 gives the Red 'X' on ' there is no virtual machine (all others are green).

  -host2 disassembly disassemble the datastore on host2 but it always displays mounted on host1

  -remove the data store (whether or not they are mounted) fails with the error "current resource of use"

  SUCCESS!

  I wanted to say that I did restart services.sh since a SSH session.

  It does not work.

  Then I noticed I could remove, choose disassemble it a session directly to host2, but always without success.

  I went back to vCenter and got the red X on 'active VM' as soon as I tried to take it apart by the same host (Yes... Ah... the host will allow me to choose the unmount, but vCenter isn't... hmmm).

  I restarted the server vCenter, and Orient the data before vCenter services store could begin.

  Not sure if restarting vCenter did the trick, or disassembly and removal * before * vCenter services could begin did the trick.

  OP, do all these things.

  -Check the process opened using this:

  vsish EI ls/storage/scsifw/devices /<"naa. id="" of="" your="" datastore"="">/worlds/ | sed ' s: /:' | while read i; do ps | grep $i; done

  -Restart management on one or more hosts agents: services.sh reboot

  -Restart the server vCenter (or at the very least, restart the services of vCenter).

  At some point in this list, you should be able to dismantle and remove the data store.

  We have made some tested with SRM, of which a part has been isolated from the recovery of the site and perform a recovery of VM.

  Hi Trent,

  Is what SRM/VR version? VRM is configured with externel DB or using embedded DB?

  Now that the recovering site has been decommissioned, VRM on the site source still think that the virtual machines are configured for replication.

  To clean the source VM configuration of replication, you must initialize VRMS with empty DB - it will remove the configuration of the replication of the VM from the source, as these configuration will cease to be present in the BD VRMS. To achieve this:

  Option A) power off and remove the old device of VR on the source site and deploy and configure a new.

  Option B) If you use VR 5.1 or 5.5 with embedded DB, it may be easier to simply click on the "Reset embedded DB" button in the UI VAMI.

  Option C) if VRMS has been configured with external DB, an alternative to redeploy the device would be to stop VRMS service (stop etc/init.d/hms), remove the old base VRMS, create a new and configure VRMS with the new UI VAMI DB.

  Once replication configurations have been deleted, you can click on "Cancel registration of vCenter Server" button in UI VAMI VRMS to unregister the extension of the VC and power off and remove the device. There will be leftovers.

  The site of recovery - data warehouses have been reformatted, but only VR devices is removed, you may need to clean records replication targets.

  Hello. I'm trying to remove a vmfs datastore but I get the following error:

  "Error while configuring the host: DestroyvmfsDatastore: can't delete partition 1 on lun vmhba1:0:4 '.

  Here is what I tried so far but did not helped:

  (1) new storage analysis... .no luck

  (2) put ESX in maintenance mode and tried to delete... .no luck

  (3) I rebooted the ESX Server and tried to delete... no luck

  (4) I used the command fdisk/dev/sdd1: d (to remove the partition)... This option has shown "no partition is still defined.

  All the other things I can try to remove the vmfs data store? Please notify
