  Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to keep your Mac organized and your free storage space, and I want to help him. Just to be sure, after you remove the photos in question, did you also remove them from the "Recently deleted" album in the Photos app? This is like the trash on your mac but specific photos, giving you an extra chance to save your photos that you not wanted to delete. Until that they are excluded from this album space on your Mac will remain full.

  To find this Album open the Photos app and click 'Albums' tab on top and click to open it. To empty this album 'Delete All' at the top click or select the photos you want to delete and click Delete.

  If you have already done so, try restarting your computer and again controlled storage. Let us know if you have any other problem, and the whole community will be there to help.

  My hard is filled with the largest amount of space occupied by the photos, I transferred all the photos on a backup drive, using the export feature in the Photo menu.

  What version of the operating system and photos you have? You have a managed library or library referenced? You are migrating from iPhoto to Photos and if you have done is always the iPhoto library on disk?

  If you are up to date (current software is OS X 10.11.6 and Photos 1.5) with a managed library and no iPhoto library and then deleting Photos (select photos and press control & delete) will move the photos in the album deleted recently - they will be removed from system within 30 days or when you remove form them the recently deleted albums which ever comes first

  I have a photo called "Leisure" album that contains pictures of two of my hobbies: exercise and amateur radio ('composite album').  I spit the composite album in two separate albums for every hobby and then delete the original album.  On the other hand, both of the two new albums deleted all their photos when I deleted the composite album photos, so I used the command Z to bring back all the photos.  What I am doing wrong?

  In pictures 1.0.1 I have deleted hundreds of photos.   Could you remove photos from Albums rather than the library or could you have removed pictures of shared albums.

• Where is the DLNA app on the tablet of Sony?

  I canceled several elements will be given through ITunes on my computer and cancelled items still appear in my library and I'm still in charge. I have currently no pre-order details in the meantime but I could have said that prior to the release of Captain America civil war.   What exactly is the poster in your library - and I assume that you mean things are downloaded into it? And what are charged for?

  Cancel a pre-order cancels only which is always pre-order, it will not, for example, on pre-commandees records where one or more tracks were released before the album delete these tracks released, they will remain acquired on the account.

  If you have settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud enabled library and you have deleted a photo, it would be removed to iCloud and any other device connected to this library to iCloud. It should however remain in the album deleted recently for about 30 days, and they can be recovered from there.

  On your iPhone, open the pictures, tap Albums at the bottom app, highlight and tap the recently deleted album. Or use a computer in a newspaper of the https://www.icloud.com/ and open the Photos app, click on Albums at the top and open the recently deleted album.

• Remove the change in behavior from iPhoto

  In iPhoto, pressing the DELETE key on picture deleted the photo from the album. In the Photos app, it deletes the actual photo.   I have a 2 or 3 General questions on iTunes.  I download all my iTunes on a PC and play really.  That is why the questions about iTunes folders in Windows Explorer.

  1 how to produce duplicates in the library?  I have loads.  I saw the advice to remove them.  This helps a little but it's still a task to be piecemeal.    How to stop what is happening in the first place?

  2 in addition to the duplicates.  Last night I went in Windows Explorer on the PC that I use to download and play iTunes and entered the iTunes Media/Music folder.   I walked carefully each folder album deleting duplicate here.   However, on opening iTunes itself today, duplicates all seem to be still there in the library list.   Why it did not work?  ITunes is not loading the content of this folder?  If this is not the case, why I was informed to support?

  With regard to questions 2 and 4: iTunes does not automatically "load" all the files in the folders.  You can do an analysis of initial unique optional optional when you install iTunes, which will add all are compatible files in the iTunes library.  After that, files not added unless you take action to add.

  The information described below details how locate and restore items that you have recently removed from the Photos app on your Mac.

  Deleted items remain in the album deleted recently for the indicated number of days and are then permanently deleted. You can view deleted items recently and add back them to your photo library.

  1. Choose file > view recently deleted.

  2. Select the photos that you want to restore.

  3. Click on recover.

     To remove recently immediately deleted items, select them, then click on remove.

  If you use Time Machine to back up your computer, you can retrieve the elements after their deleted permanently from your Mac or iCloud.

• iCloud photo library and faces

  I created faces on my library of Photos of MacBook and this morning has decided to turn on iCloud photo library on an iMac to remember all my originals.  All the photos were perfectly copied everywhere, but while the faces always works on the MacBook, it asks me to put in place new o the iMac... y at - it a way to turn it?

  Also, I have a folder in 'My Albums' section, called, 'iPhoto events' and that there are 2 folders of photos from my iPhone.  How were these created?  If I delete a photo of these flows it deletes all my photos.  I think I can delete individual photos from these albums iPhone but they will remain in all the pictures and then I deleted albums and the record... is that sound right?

  ICloud library stores tags searchable faces, but not thumbnails of faces.

  If you named a face on your MacBook, you can find this name in the search field in the Photos on your iMac. You will find photos, but the thumbnails will be missing. I would name a few faces manually on your iMac, then wait a few days for the recognition of face on the iMac to find thumbnails of faces and then use the search to quickly assign names for the thumbnails.  It will be faster that the original designation on your MacBook, because that Photosis make a good guess.  See this support document: use Photos and iCloud library on several Mac - computers Apple support

  Also, I have a folder in the "My Albums" section called "iPhoto events."

  The migration has created an album for each of these events you had in iPhoto or the projects you had in Aperture. (See this link: How Photos handles content and metadata for iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support) If you do not want these albums, delete albums, then the folder.   Deleting an album or folder does not remove the pictures from the library.

  I recently downloaded all my photos on my iMac iPhoto photos and iCloud for backup.

  All my custom in iPhotos albums made it safely through the conversation, but I have a few questions that I don't know how to fix or if they are fixable:

  1. I use to be able to select the Albums I wanted to be downloaded on my iPhone and iPad, now every single Album of Photos on the two which I don't want, is not an option most?

  3. I see this film changed its name to all the Photos, but it shows every single picture that I have in the Photos Application, I don't want all of them on the phone, how do fix you this?

  5. in each photo album I created a logo/custom icon then when I scroll through all the albums, I could quickly identify what album was that, now, each photo album shows the last picture in the window of the iPhone instead of the first image/photo in this album, is anyway to change that too?
